Love this place!!
Mountain high got me like...😍
Had some snow valley tickets that me and my girlfriend wanted to use, shes very new and terrified of heights! But with road damage we could snow valley was closed, mountain high was honoring the tickets so we said lets try them out. And it was the best decision ever, it was easy to get to and all the employees where kind to us from start to finish from genuinely taking time to talk my girlfriend through the lift and getting off. The rental systems where great and efficient even with the large lines. Bartenders friendly and generous. The snow was great plenty of space for new and experienced people. Our first experience was so great that i bought myself a season pass the next week and will be up again soon. My ladyfriend will also be getting a pass soon as well. The check gates for the lifts are very efficient and its really affordable. Their tickets also vary in price some days making suprise trips very affordable if i wanna take new friends! Also loved customer appreciation day! It sold my girlfried on getting her pass.i rarely like a place enough to review....yet here i am...😅😹😉
Great day at Mountain High
We had snow recently so the runs had a very good base and were groomed well, the lift lines were fast and the Staff were pfofessional and friendly. The e-ticket is a Great deal for $5 and military/1st responder discount are appreciated. The parking lot is showing age so park where it's dry so you can change your gear comfortably, Recycled concrete base is an excelent, cost effective way to fill pot holes and will last.
Love East & West and the Adaptive Lessons Program!
My 12 year old son Tony is in the Adaptive Lessons Program with Bobby Mourino. Tony is a person with Down Syndrome. While he is very athletic we did not know how he would take to skiing (and snowboarding) an activity the rest of his family members enjoy. I couldn't be more pleased with the results of the program and how warmly we are welcomed. This St. Patrick's Day weekend had Tony skiing independently with Kolby all day, no tethers or "edgie-wedgies" We recently purchased Season Passes for the entire family. Thank you Mountain High for a great time! Jim Trinchera & Family.
For a fun day in the snow
Mountain high is a only 1:45 min from the Santa Monica. Not a big resort, but you can have fun with the runs. Not recommend to take people who are not going to ride, not much thinks to do. Beside that I really recomend to spend a day there!
Love this place
Never had a bad time at Mt. High. Plenty of great runs, and variety. Snow quality is usually pretty good, staff is great and crowds are minimal during the right days and times. Stoked to have a place like this to go in our local mountains! 👍🏼
Terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service!
Terrible maintenance!
Delayed opening, lifts closed, no groomed blues
Lift not open until after 10am. Only blue ridge express opened, remainder closed until after 11 then Blue ridge expressed closed due to loose wheel. No groomed blue runs, just black and green. Overall it was a poor experience due to this and ruined the joy of riding that day.
Mostly good
Well managed ski area; wish there was less snowboarding focus and more open runs not cluttered with the park apparatus. Just too much of that scattered all around.
Very fun experience!
Been skiing at mt high for 7 years
Been skiing at mt high for 7 years. Holding annual pass for the last four years. Great location, easy drive from LA. Can get crowded on weekend mornings. Need to be cautious and be in control while skiing to avoid collision. Very friendly local resort to practice your skiing or snowboarding before you hit all the other big mountains.
First time at Mt
First time at Mt. High and it was a really great experience. My boyfriend and I went on his birthday, so his ticket was free (btw we went on a Monday, so this may have impacted the amount of ppl on slopes). Not all the lifts were open due to amount of snow, but we still had a good time. Friendly staff, clean facilities, no lines, awesome view.
Awesome snow and nice staff.bathroom…
Awesome snow and nice staff.bathroom stalls are small especially when wearing snow gear.
It's Okay
Ticket office took longer than expected. Snow condition was not great that night. I just like it's proximity to home compared to other places.
My winter outdoor gym
My winter outdoor gym. Closest resort to get to from Long Beach typically less than 1 1/2 hour. Parking is decent if you arrive early enough.
They need more high=speed lifts and lifts that stop or break down less often.
Overall great place to go to for a quick ski day.
Pretty cool trip back up
Pretty cool trip back up just a little bit of a lag cus of avalanche control and then some lift issues other than that everything was awesome
Good Snow Season This Year - Closest Resort
Love the points Lift Ticket - only of its kind in So Cal. This year, it has been a phenomenal snow event! Usually snow is scarce but not this year. Very close to LA!
Parking - had to park on the streets the last two times.
Just bad customer service
Just bad customer service. First they gave us the wrong lift tickets. To correct the problem, and get access to the chairlift I had to get back in line at the ticket counter. Then they couldn't, or wouldn't help without the physical receipt. Not the confirmation email on my phone, not the purchasing credit card. So I went to my car, found the receipt and came back to the line. Then they canceled and replaced my lift ticket, but wouldn't give me my wife's. They suggested I pull her out of her lesson and have her come to swap out her lift ticket. It was a huge waste of time that I could have been on the slopes and all they did was give me what I paid for originally. I don't know that I need anything free but I felt the customer service was lacking and I felt as though I was not valued as a customer.
Great ski resort!
