You just never recieve the same admount…

You just never recieve the same amount of things, occasionally you will get a paper with info on the foods other times you gotta google it. Now I am trying to cancel, and can't get logged into my account. But also can't reset my info to get back in and after 2 emails no response

Do NOT buy MunchPak in Canada

I bought a 6 month subscription at Christmas time and all was good, the selection was great! In March they were having supply issues and promised the reimburse with future boxes. After February I did not see another box. No confirmation of shipment or tracking emails, no info on the future boxes. Other than apology emails it was radio silence.
At the end of my 6 months, I was charged in June for a single box that I DID NOT ORDER! I reached out and they said they apologies and that it would be fixed but I was charged AGAIN in July. Still no boxes or refunds, just promises. They only have email support so the odds of getting anything back is small. DON'T BUY MUNCHPAK.

I have not received several subscription boxes!

I have not received my April 2024, June 2024, or July 2024 subscription pack. We have been busy this summer so I guess it wasn't on my mind until just now. I tried logging into my account but it won't let me in after doing the puzzles and I am not receiving the change the password email either. I emailed customer service but have heard nothing.

Four+ months in a row without receiving my order

Ordered a six month subscription in Feb 2024. Received the first box, and haven't received a subsequent box since. I emailed customer service many times over and was told it was shipping and nothing ever came. Was finally told nothing was shipping until July. It's now end of July and still nothing has shipped. Assuming I do not receive a box in July that's five months in a row with no box. MunchPak refuses to issue a refund. Absolute garbage company and service. I also am unable to log into my account on the site or reset my password in order to cancel the subscription.

They just won’t cancel my subscription!!

I seem to be having the opposite problem of most reviewers here. I cannot seem to get these boxes to stop coming. I’ve sent at least 3-4 cancellation emails and they keep saying they’ve canceled until I get charged again a couple weeks later!! I can’t seem to make it stop and to boot, they just seem to send the same box over and over since I’ve started requesting to cancel. I don’t know what to do to make it stop. I’m honestly thinking about reaching out to a lawyer at this point. I’m so sick of it!!

You will be lucky if you receive your order

I ordered the largest subscription box plus the drink on June 20th, and I didn't receive it until July 12th. When I received it, it was missing 3 items.
I tried to contact them by phone, chat, and sending a message several times and got no response. when you call, a recording says no agents are available and it has you leave a message.
I finally contacted my bank to file a claim, and that is when they finally shipped my box. They still never responded to any of my messages or voicemails though.
Besides missing items, the items were tossed loose in a box and one thing was broken and they mailed chocolate items which were melted. I have gotten food boxes from other companies, and they either don't send chocolate items when it is hot or they package them so they don't melt.

I had two years of great customer…

I had two years of great customer service and boxes shipping out as expected, but something changed this year. April 2024 was the last box they shipped, and I’m now unable to log in to my account, reset my password, or get ahold of anyone at the company via any of the customer service methods. My subscription was set to renew in August and I’ll probably have to contact my credit card company to make sure Munchpak doesn’t charge for another year. Too bad, they had a great thing going but this change of ownership and subsequent mismanagement has really decimated the company’s reputation.

Very difficult to cancel

They make it almost impossible to cancel your subscription, lying that they have migrated accounts to a different system, etc. etc. It’s always the same excuse and it is very difficult to contact an actual person for help. I had to dispute a charge with Amex (they charged me after I asked to cancel my account) and FINALLY got notification that my cancelation was procesded. Stay far away from this company, definite scam vibes and there are too many other food subscription companies to deal with this nonsense.

HORRIBLE company with nonexistent…

HORRIBLE company with nonexistent customer service. I ordered a monthly, one year subscription and it’s never 👎 worked since the delivery of the first box. I’m feeling ghosted by the company. It feels like a scam. The links on their website are just for show. I think their corporate office moved from Arizona to Oklahoma but they did a good job of covering their tracks. Unless someone can get me connection through the dark web, it’s as if they don’t exist. DO NOT, under any circumstance, consider using this company!!!

I don’t even wanna give em a star.

I don’t even wanna give em a star.. I just found this review site and I wish I would have found it sooner. I signed up for a 3 month subscription(January 2024) I got my 3 boxes. Never thought anything of it. They still charged me for the next 4 months(April,May, June & July), they owe me $235CAN and I have been emailing and going crazy sending them email after email and NO ONE after 5 days has gotten back to me. I can’t even log into my account bc I don’t know the password. Sent in for a password reset, no emails. So I can’t even stop it there. My next step is calling my bank to put a stop payment to them. I am so embarrassed of being taken advantage of, all I wanted to do was have a fun evening thing to do with my two kids, and yall robbed a single mother for the next 4 months.
Stupid I didn’t notice, I know, but I only got the 3 month subscription, I never thought anything of it.
Yeah-don’t get it.

Ps: I notice that all this had started around the same time I seen someone post about a new ceo taking over(after March 2024). I can see that would take time to do and organize and get familiar with MunchPaks things, but bruh, 4 months and just kept taking money and in some cases not giving a box at all for some.
This stinks.

They do not send out your prepaid subscription boxes

This company is a scam. I signed up for a 6-month subscription and I have to email them every month (except for the very first month) to ensure my box gets sent out. The only response I get from "customer service" is an generic email confirming my item is "shipped" - which really means they finally created a shipping label. The actual box doesn't get shipped out for at least another week - I know because I'm checking the tracking every few days. And when I do receive the box, there isn't any brochure inside telling us about the snacks or where they're from. The one time I was able to reach customer service via chat, they said they could email a PDF of the brochure.

There were some red flags upfront which I only noticed in hindsight. First red flag should've been - their discount code really didn't applied. 2nd red flag - no email confirming my subscription.

Shameful Business Practices

As of March 2024 this company is under new ownership by 360-cre and their CEO BK Hopgood. They ghosted all the employees who worked there for up to 6 years and all of the loyal vendors.

They still haven’t paid their employees for their work or vendors for the products they’re selling! They have one out-of-country customer support agent who knows nothing about the company. I highly doubt their new operation is FDA compliant by looking at their own videos of their warehouse.

I’d stay far away from this company and their unethical business practices either way. Run!

New Owners

Since being owned by Baron (BK) Hopgood, Renzo Campanella, Aaron Budd, and Jonathan Evans, the company has gone downhill. Orders have been delayed, and subscriptions for customers who ordered before switching to Shopify weren't transferred to the new system, nor were the customers notified of this. Multiple vendor invoices are months past due, and some former employees and contractors have yet to receive final payment after months of being told they would get paid. Overall, the company is being run unethically, and I'd recommend that you support a company like Universal Yums.

Issues With Every Single Step

I wish I went with literally any other subscription box. I wanted one a month for three months and ordered it in November. It is the end of MAY and have finally received three boxes. Even when I contacted them about it and they realized they weren't sending me the second and third boxes, it took over a month to receive. Plus, now I can't even log into my account, or change my password and they said they're entire system is down. It has been like that for many days. I couldn't check on my subscription at all and had to contact them. However, only the 9-5 chat will help, any other means of contacting them gets ignored.

The Content of the Boxes:
Terrible. Half of it I could just get at the grocery store. If it was at least good or unique I would be a little happy, but it was almost all so mid. Plus they're supposed to send you a card that tells you what the items are and the origins and they didn't even send that with the last box.

nothing but problems for the past 3 months

As other have stated we received no delivery for March and support was no where to be found. They sent a google doc asking for you to select an option for reimbursement for the no show box. The form was confusing and I'm still not sure exactly how I will be reimbursed for that box. This we received our shipping email April 27th stating the next box was on it's way and would ship out in 24 hours. Didn't receive a shipped email for over week. Tracked the package and two days later it still only says "label created". I contacted support to no avail. I've now reached out via facebook and Linkedin to see if I can get an update on my questions. Also can't get into the online portal and when you ask for a password reset email it never comes. I'll wait a few more days to see how this pans out but if no respose I'm going to call my credit card company to reverse the charges and block them for charging my card in the future.

BUYER BEWARE!!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas 2023. I paid upfront $228 for 10+ snacks for 12 months. First box was exactly as they said, second box had 7 snacks thrown in the box, third box just like the first, fourth box shows label created but never left the facility. My account has been deactivated by MunchPak with no warning or explanation. I have messaged them multiple times and nothing. $228 for 3 of the 12 boxes is a big fail!

Don’t do it!!

Don’t do it!!! So many problems with this company. When they missed an entire month, customer service was no where to be found. I’ve emailed, messaged, tried everything. What a waste of money, I wish I used universal yum instead or anything because this was embarrassing to give a gift that doesn’t follow through.

For years we have loved munchpak

For years we have loved munchpak. I have been on a subscription for a very long time. I noticed recently the name changed on the billing, assuming they were purchased or sold. Around the same time things got hairy. I have not gotten March or April's boxes. I was emailed and advised I would get two boxes for free. I was charged yet again with no box. I have emailed approximately 3 times and no one responds. I had to open disputes through PayPal. I will be cancelling my subscription if this isn't resolved.

Worst customer service experience ever

Worst customer service experience ever! It took 3 different email attempts to get someone to respond to my issue. I received the first box and then never received anything after that. I paid for a full year subscription up front. They lied to me and said there was an error when they switched over to a new software program and some customers info got lost. My account said it was on hold when I checked online. It was paid in full so it should have never been “on hold”. Their solution was to resume shipping on a new schedule making up for the missed 2 months. I was not satisfied with that, I expected them to do something to make up for their mistake. The customer service rep had no intention of doing that at all. She would rather see me cancel and offer a refund than to fix a small mistake that they made. Would not recommend to anyone.
