My 12 year old daughter passed her grade 5 theory with distinction following a few tutorials with Tracey

Tracy from Music Lessons Anywhere has been a brilliant teacher for my son. He had an extremely busy schedule, and everyone I spoke to suggested he would need at least three months of preparation. However, Music Lessons Anywhere runs an 8-hour course, and after an initial evaluation, Tracy confidently recommended the 8 hours. I was a little sceptical, as many had said how difficult the exam was, but Tracy’s experience and structured approach were remarkable.

After each class, she marked all his homework thoroughly, offered free follow-up workshops, provided support videos, and even hosted interactive sessions with games to keep students engaged. Thanks to her expert guidance, my child — who was told he’d need three months — achieved a high distinction (72/75) after just the 8-hour course!

Tracy is truly an amazing and talented teacher who knows her subject inside out and has a rare gift for explaining concepts clearly while motivating her students. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She is simply outstanding!

Highly recommend the intensive ABRSM Grade 5 theory course with Tracy! She is wonderful! The lessons only one week, and interactive and engaging, with difficult concepts being delivered across in a way that’s very easy to understand.My daughter is 10, followed the lessons with no problem at all. We appreciate the extensive resources, valuable feedback on homework, attentive response on questions and the extra tips on past papers.

Tracy is an excellent teacher! After taking this course I felt confident and prepared to that my grade 5 theory tests. I was also supplied with excelled learning materials. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to feel confident in passing their theory exams.

All resources were easy to access amd my daughter really enjoyed the lessons. I was unable to help my daughter with the learning but after the intensive course and two workshops she now has her Grade 5 Theory. Excellent G5 Theory teaching and resources. Very friendly tutors. Our 11 yo had not done any music theory but after an initial free session with Tracy it was felt they could do the intensive course. The course requires x4 lessons of 2h duration (on zoom) with Louise. The lessons and homework covered the entire G5 theory syllabus. Both Tracy and Louise were readily on hand for queries, provision of extra work and marking of extra work/papers. The sessions, website and course work was excellent and packaged in a very concise and manageable way. Our child sat exam shortly after the 4th lesson, having done the practice exam on the ABRSM site. They secured a strong pass and were delighted! The service and intense course at MLA is second to none, and an excellent choice for those kids with little to no music theory experience. Also excellent for those kids and parents who just want to get their G5 theory done! Tracy and Louise were brilliant. The hardest thing is waiting 28 days for the result! Thank you!! SJ

My daughter took an intensive course for her grade 5 theory which she needed to pass before taking grade 6 piano.

The teaching was online, delivered as a lesson and with lots of supporting materials to work through during and after the lessons. The lessons were fun and kept my daughter engaged and Tracy provided as much support outside of the sessions as required, marking work quickly and responding to queries.

My daughter was thrilled to get a distinction and we would definitely recommend!

A brilliant tutoring institute which help my girl to a get a fantastic result with distinction in less than 3 weeks on ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam. Tracy, the tutor, gives guidance and tutorship throughout the 4-days course and help building up the necessary musical theories required by the Grade 5 exam. Tracy is also very keen to give nearly immediate reply to any questions or checking on tutorial exercises. Highly recommend Tracy and I would have piano lessons myself online if I had the time! My son passed his Grade 5 theory after having completed the intensive course with Tracy, gaining almost full marks on all the aspects Tracy taught. (He lost out on a distinction because he didn't fully revise his musical terms in his own time) I immediately knew from our initial online chat that Tracy was a calm and warm teacher and indeed she explained concepts brilliantly. Tracy was quick to reply to any queries and offered to mark any extra practice papers we did.

Tracy is extremely professional, kind, and encouraging. I am a late adult learner, with no previous music background and managed to pass grade 5 music theory with distinction, thanks to her patience and method.

Both of my daughters studied grade 5 theory with Tracy and my youngest has just passed at 10 years old. Tracy is an outstanding teacher who has amazing methods for teaching G5 theory as well as being patient and kind - the perfect teacher!

I recently completed a few saxophone instructions led by Thomas Dancer, and I must say, he is an exceptional online instructor. From the outset, Thomas demonstrated a deep knowledge of the subject matter and a true passion for teaching. His expertise made complex topics much more accessible and easier to understand.

What sets Thomas apart is his ability to create an engaging and interactive online environment. He incorporated various teaching techniques that catered to different learning styles, ensuring that I could follow along and grasp the material effectively. His incorporation of multimedia elements and real-world examples kept the sessions dynamic and interesting.

Furthermore, Thomas was consistently available for questions and provided timely, constructive feedback on leaning material that was covered , which greatly enhanced my learning experience.

As both of our children have completed this online course with distinction awards, we cannot recommend it highly enough. At every step Tracy, Dominique and Carol were friendly, efficient and supportive. The ability to do this course from home offers great flexibility. Second time around it was done over 2 weeks and although it is intensive, requiring a lot of revising in between sessions, getting this qualification in such a short period of time is a reflection of the high level of teaching and resources offered. Being able to complete practice exam papers and have them marked is really helpful also. Thank you for a great service.

What a fantastic team! Both of my kids (10 & 12) earned a Distinction on their ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exams after tuition with Carol. She is wonderful and kept both kids engaged throughout the process. We were all dreading taking this exam, but at the end of the course, both my kids want to move on to do Grade 6 -- a true testament to excellent teaching and keeping things fun.

I would highly recommend Music Lessons Anywhere. It is a really good online alternative to the school based GCSE Music and our child gained a distinction for their ABRSM grade 5 music theory. Both Tracy and Carol were excellent and the teaching and support first class. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Excellent tuition! Tracy provided an excellent online learning experience that allowed our son to prepare for his Grade 5 theory in a short space of time. We were particularly impressed with the range of resources available to us, the swift turnaround of assignments returned and marked and the at a glance feedback guide to how the individual lesson parts were understood meaning our son knew exactly where he needed to put in more work. We were also impressed that a weekly ‘drop in’ was available for those needing specific help although our son did not need this service. All in all, succinct, engaging and effective teaching that allowed our son to study for and pass his grade in a timely manner.
