I did not receive my shipment even though UPS states it was delivery. No one answers the phone and no reponses to 4 emails sent regards the issue. Terrible customer service.

Absolutely the WORST internet purchase ever! Zero customer service from Mustad and Sons. All contact is by email, and they don't answer their emails. I ordered a very small Mustad salmon egg hook order from Mustad and Sons online website listed as a US site. Not so. Very deceptive. After receiving approximately 5 different delivery dates from UPS, none of which were kept, I checked the shipment history. The order originated in the Dominican republic and was stuck in customs?? FYI, Mustad is not family owned any longer. It was bought by an investment group. Hooks are no longer produced 100% in Norway. China is listed as another manufacturing country. No Chinese junk thanks. I tried by email to contact customer service. I finally received a robo response by email, saying they were sorry for the inconvenience but offered no resolution, so I called my card company and cancelled the order. Don't waste your time and money with these people. If I could give them minus stars , I would. Mustad hooks like many other good products of the past, is just that... the past. Lost to globalization with products produced in third world countries.
Buy American, Wright/McGill hooks.

**UPDATE**I finally did receive the hooks I ordered on 4/18/24 after 12 days. Still the only communication I received from the seller was confirmation of the order and a robo email saying they were sorry I was inconvenienced.
Glad I did receive the hooks, but I would not order direct from Mustad again. Communication is paramount in any online sale. Good communication was sorely lacking for this transaction.
