If anyone is reading this and is currently unsure whether to instruct Muve for your house sale/purchase, please don’t make the same mistake we did.
We were recommended Muve by the estate agents of the house we were originally purchasing, they had nothing but good things to say and they were the cheaper option. But, in hindsight, we should’ve paid more for a local solicitor/conveyancing firm and we probably would’ve completed and moved before Christmas.
We opened our case with Muve on August 22nd, and we’re now over 8 months into the process and have already lost out on one house due to how bad service has been. They were instructed to cover both our house sale and purchase of a different property.
Initially, everything seemed ok to begin with, and as far as we could tell things were ticking along and we would see updates via the portal. When our original sellers proposed a moving date for the end of November we agreed as we have cash buyers with no chain. This is where things started to go wrong. Despite being asked for and then provided information about our land management company, they didn’t request the land management pack until the day before the proposed completion date which meant that we had to cancel the date. We were then informed from our buyers solicitors that Muve hadn’t even began to answer their enquiries and that some stuff had even come back prior with many errors.
Further delays after more failed proposed completion dates from our sellers resulted in them ultimately pulling out before Christmas.
We managed to find a second property within days of losing the first house and put in an offer which was quickly accepted. Thankfully, that meant we could ditch Muve for the buying side and instructed local solicitors and have been immensely more efficient and are now sat waiting for Muve on the selling side still. Muve are still being chased for enquiries that were requested at the end of November.
This is what you can expect if you make the same mistake as us. Almost 9 months in, money out of pocket, one lost house purchase and potentially a second.

Thilaj and Cassandra were both fantastic throughout my remortgage process. It ended up taking much longer than expected and was definitely a long process, but they stayed professional, supportive, and helpful from start to finish. Thilaj, as my Account Manager, kept me informed and reassured throughout, and Cassandra handled the conveyancing side with great care and efficiency. Their communication, patience, and commitment really made a difference, and I always felt I was in safe hands. Nadvi, Noor and Azveeni were extremely helpful and cooperative throughout my entire conveyancing process. They regularly gave updates throughout and responded to my emails very promptly. The case also progressed quite swiftly; the only major delays that occurred were due to the third-party company which was responsible for conducting the property searches. My only minor issue was having to download a third-party app to do the SoF checks, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, Muve is a brilliant conveyancing firm which I would certainly recommend to a friend.

Muve provided fast efficient service which was exactly what I was looking for. To be clear, this speed is achieved through reducing search times and replacing with indemnity insurance policies. This is the first time I’ve tried such a solution so only time will tell, but so far so good.

Absolutely awful. DO NOT USE!! The whole process was drawn out and they were completely incompetent for the job we paid them for. Now trying to sell our house 17months on and they have not even submitted the correct land registry paperwork! Ignored emails from us and land registry, and over charged us £1,500 more than quoted! DO NOT USE!

We had a good experience using muve for both the sale of are property and the purchase of are new property, Thilaj are account manager was very helpful and communication was good throughout with weekly updates and very responsive with any questions or help that we needed throughout, also to mention maneesha are conveyor was also very good throughout again responsive and very professional. Would use again if we ever needed to and would recommend to anyone looking.
