Many thanks for your excellent review. While there are notable differences between our brand and others, many of the watches we produce compete within the same market segment as other brands. As a result, specifications often vary only slightly from brand to brand, even if the designs appear distinct.

For example, most military-issued watches are required to meet specific standards, with 100-meter water resistance being the current norm for infantry watches and 300 meters for dive watches. In some countries, such as the UK, military specifications remain largely based on decades-old standards. However, modern upgrades—such as sapphire crystals—have significantly improved durability and performance while maintaining the original aesthetic.

I hope your watch serves you well for many years. It should be easy to maintain, as it’s designed for straightforward servicing, it features a 10-year battery life, making it exceptionally low maintenance.

It's always find it difficult myself to find the right watch, but with a G10 you can't really go far wrong and they are very durable. I don't know exactly which variant you have but the 10 year battery life versions are ideal when people want a low maintenance item which is why I suspect that the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) opted for this particular watch in the 100m variant.

There are always multiple shipping options at checkout there is also no mention of the watch going via Ireland on Royal Mail or USPS when you search the tracking number LP715026502GB. The other factor is that on the website on the front page there is a link to DELIVERY if a customer goes to delivery at the URL below it gives full details regarding what the delivery times are be expected to be see

On the uk website it says as below.

The estimated delivery times in working day are as set out below, even though this was in the run up it was Christmas it arrived within reasonable time (15 days with quoted time 7 to 21 days) even when we factor in that it was sitting in customs for five days in New York on arrival in the US it was not late hence this review is defamatory and untrue.

We have searched through the email system, and also on the website which would monitor anything sent through the website in respect of the order via the contact panel there is nothing in the email system or via the website from. astratton05@gmail.com we are confident no enquiry was ever made regarding delivery and no phone call was ever received, there is even US number on our site which Mrs Stratton could have called so it's not as if we make it difficult, we endeavor to make contact as straightforward as possible and whereas many companies no longer have phone numbers on their website we have as many different locations as possible listed where people can contact somebody locally.

As regards shipping and return policies, everything is set out in clearly on the website. We can always be contacted by email at admin@mwc.watch but no email was received as mentioned above nor any calls from (404) 317-8541. Both shipping routes Registered Mail which we use via various Post Office e.g Swiss Post, Royal Mail, AnPost etc usually $22.50 (but we offered reduced shipping at $12.50 in the run up to Christmas) versus Fedex/DHL etc at $44.50 every customer has the option of selecting the various different shipment routes.

Whilst we appreciate the customer is unhappy the fact remains that the information is all on the website very clearly setting out the delivery times and other details, Not every customer needs delivery within a few days some are happy to wait a bit longer and choose a cheaper shipping route it's not as if using a post office's antiquated it's just a more cost effective option, we've not concealed anything as alleged and were completely straightforward right from the start hence the comments on Trustpilot are defamatory by suggesting we have behaved in some way which is improper.

I don't know why the customer is accusing us of using a defensive tone when we are simply stating the facts, she had a choice as to which delivery route to use she chose the cheapest and slowest that was her choice we had no control over that.

Many thanks for the great review. I think we all get fed up with firms where you can't get any sense out of them or are routed to a foreign call centre where you can't get the point across to anyone, consequently we go to great lengths to ensure English speakers get through to a native English-speaking staff member and Germans get a German staff member etc, because it makes everything vastly less stressful.

Many thanks for the great review. The 10 year battery is a huge plus on this watch the only thing is make sure when it goes in for a battery exchange in a few years that whoever installs the new battery pressure tests it to make sure it's water resistant. We also have a number of recommended watch makers, so you can always contact us at the time and we can recommend somebody.

Thanks for the review. I think for some people it would be too large, but strangely I know a lady in her 50s whose quite small and thin and she likes it because it kind of fits in with her eclectic fashion sense, plus she likes the high visibility because it’s so easy to see day or night.

DPD has been a nightmare I have to agree but its been a difficult Christmas for the UK staff with Royal Mail on strike as well but that does not excuse the ineptness of DPD in this case. I hope your father likes the watch and you all have a good Christmas - I am glad we got there in the end! I was cutting it a bit tight!

Thanks for the review. We actually used screw pins vs spring bars because some customers preferred them because they have some of the advantages of fixed solid bars, but it's very difficult. None of the solutions are perfect for military and tactical watches the thread lock will certainly ensure that they don't work loose, which is absolutely crucial with this type of watch.

We've done quite a lot of work over the years upgrading the G10 models, some of them even the 50 m battery hatch models have been upgraded to a screw down locking crown but not for water resistance because it's not really needed on a 50 m watch but we'll always utilize them on the 100 m versions and a lot of military guys tend to rip the crown out while on active deployment so it made sense to add it to this model simply to make it more durable. I'm not sure exactly which model you bought but I'm assuming it has to be one of the 50 m battery hatch models or the 100 m version it is a bit larger than most of our competitors models simply to increase visibility.

The customer said it was fast one minute per week which is acceptable and within the parameters for an automatic mechanical watch, three minutes is not within the parameters but there is no reference to 3 minutes in the exchange between the customer and our support staff because we have all of the details on file. We know who the customer is because in the last two months there is only one query relating to this model from a Chris Tippin and on the chat panel his wording was “ If I'm spending £175 i don't think i should have to re set the time ???” we explained that automatic watches normally are out by around 10 seconds per day, he stated it was one minute out and not 3 minutes. There was a very lengthy exchange with our staff member who asked what accuracy was expected and he replied “ 1 minute a year” it was pointed out that this is impossible to achieve with any automatic watch regardless of the amount spent and that even a Rolex or Patek Phillipe can’t achieve this. It is clear that a quartz or hybrid watch would be a much better option to meet this particular buyers needs.
