This company is a Joke

I had no issue signing up for Elementor, but canceling my subscription was a completely different experience.

The cancellation process was far more difficult than it should have been. Instead of having a clear, obvious “Cancel Subscription” option, I had to dig through account settings to find the automatic renewal controls. A paying customer should not have to search support articles just to figure out how to stop being billed.

Based on my experience, the billing and cancellation flow feels intentionally designed to make leaving more difficult than joining. That’s frustrating, especially for a company serving so many professionals.

The product itself may work well for many people, but the subscription management experience left a very negative impression. I hope Elementor makes the cancellation process as simple and transparent as the signup process.

Great product but the customer service… 7 mails and counting

Great product but the customer service is horrible, worse than a bad AI system.
7 mails and counting for a simple refund that is within their terms for a domain that we don't use. What a waist of recourses and manhours.

extremely difficult to cancel

It has been extremely difficult for me to cancel my Elementor account that I originally thought was canceled 3 years ago. I have been unable to speak with a human about this, but the chatbot has assured me my account has been cancelled and I won’t be charged again. However I have not received a promised confirmation email and cannot get another sent out. They tried to get me to subscribe to a premium plan so that I could talk with a human.

No Elementor Support

I cannot login to my Elementor admin to make changes to my website because of a Word Press update. I also cannot get any kind of help from Elementor. This may cause me to lose life saving income. Elementor is difficult to use for anyone other than a programmer. The lack of help from this company is neglectful and financially devastating.

If you're unable to log in to your WordPress admin following a WordPress update, this is often related to the WordPress installation, hosting environment, or another plugin rather than Elementor itself. We'd recommend contacting your hosting provider to help restore access to your WordPress dashboard. If a recent update caused the issue, restoring a backup taken before the update can also help prevent data loss while the root cause is investigated.

I’ve been an Elementor customer since…

I’ve been an Elementor customer since 2020 on the Expert 1,000-site plan. It was set to auto-renew, so I was surprised when one of my websites suddenly showed my subscription as inactive.

Support told me a payment had failed, there was a 30-day grace period, and because I contacted them after that period they could not restore my grandfathered plan. My only option was to buy the new plan at roughly twice the price.

What disappointed me was not the failed payment. Those things happen. It was the complete lack of flexibility. I offered to update my billing information immediately, but all I received were canned responses saying their system could not restore the legacy plan.

If an email says “Your subscription will renew automatically,” most customers are not going to assume they need to take action. I certainly didn’t. By the time I realized there was a problem, I had permanently lost the plan I had been paying for since 2020.

The timing makes this even more surprising. I run a web agency managing nearly 100 websites, and AI-powered development is making agencies rethink their entire WordPress stack. This is exactly the time companies should be working to keep loyal customers, not pushing them toward a plan that costs twice as much.

The failed payment did not make me question Elementor. Their unwillingness to work with a loyal customer did.

Maria, the Elementor Agent, did a fantastic Job. My data had been stolen.
I received help right from the start and everything was explained in great detail. And so quickly in fact that the payment could be stopped and refunded to me.
