I transferred $2k Jan 18

I transferred $2k Jan 18. Still hasn’t transferred 4 weeks later. Insult to injury I’m on hold for 2 hours with no resolution.
Hopefully Better Business can help.

HORRIFIC BANK THAT STEALS YOUR DEPOSITS AND DOES NOT POST YOUR MONEY TO YOUR ACCOUNT

This company isn't even worth calling them a company. They withdrew $1000 from my checking acount 1 month ago and it still isn't showing up in my HSA account. I have called multiple times during their quoted hours of operation, and have been disconnected multiple times after a messages plays telling me to call back during their normal operating hours, which is when I was calling. I finally reach someone today only to be told that they can't help me because they can't handle HSA accounts, and they they were only there to clear out the queue. So they have such CRAPPY service that they have to oursource a people to tell you that they can't help you and that they have to transfer me! Then this idiot transfers me back to the same flipping menu I was in when it transferred me to them. IF YOU ARE BEING HELD HOSTAGE BY YOUR COMPANY CHOOSING THIS BANK FOR YOU, RUN!!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS WORTHLESS INSTITUTION THAT PROVIDES HORRIFIC SERVICE!

I HATE YOU SO MUCH BENEFIT WALLET

Benefit Wallet is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They cause me so much anxiety to the point I sit and cry. They run the employees HSA/FSA funds for my husbands company. If you are on a deductible plan and the Doctor charges just .25 cent more than what the cost is They literally suspend your card. They do not give you adequate time to gather receipts or contact physicians offices before cutting your card. Mind you the funds are taken out of each pay period and used to pay for your medical needs. I find it very unethical to suspend your card. This determines whether you purchase your medicine or not that is vital to keeping you alive. They expect YOU TO GET EVERYTHING TOGETHER IN A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME. What they don't understand is offices are not in any hurry to get you all the print outs you might need because sometimes a receipt is not good enough. I never wish bad things but I hope this company goes under because they treat customers like the sh!# on their shoe. I really do hate them will every fiber of my being. I have even sent them messages attached to my claim that payment was being sent back to them....AND AT THAT POINT SUSPENDED MY CARD BECAUSE I TOLD THEM PAYMENT WAS ON THE WAY. You should be ashamed. Oh don't bother calling...if you are a dependent wife/husband they will refuse to speak with YOU. Plus you wait over 50 minutes on hold to be informed you have reached the wrong department and hung up on.

I would not even give them a 1 star

I would not even give them a 1 star! I have not been able to access my funds for 5 weeks!! Now they tell me that I will have to wait for my requests pending review for "fraud" to protect me! They are committing fraud themselves!
Now, how many would like to join in for a Class Action Lawsuit? I have all my records in order & screen shots of the wait time, requests (phone pictures) Let me know if anyone is interested?

They deserve zero stars

Update as of 2/9/2023 - They are now attempting to TAKE $2,700 out of my account instead of transferring it into my account. I have been on hold for 1 hour 20 minutes so far. I have transferred all of my money out of my bank account, so they cannot get to it and I will call the bank to have them block them from taking more of my money. I have submitted a complaint with Better Business Bureau as well. Remember... they have your account info and can do the same to you.

They deserve zero stars! I have been trying to get my $2,700 from them for a month now. First they said that there were issues with the website and then the transfer was declined. I tried it again and it is just sitting there saying processing. It's been 3 weeks now. This is just wrong. I just tried to call again and hung up after 40 minutes being on hold.

A horrifying waste of time

A horrifying waste of time. Ever since I created my account a few weeks ago their website's funds transferring features have been down so I cannot use my account. I called them for help and have been on hold awaiting customer support for several hours with no human being available at all. I will be closing my account and leaving this terrible organization behind.

Closed my acct

Closed my acct. For compliance according to recording. Could not access due to retirement and losing access to company email. On hold yesterday 2 hours Today 1 hour. Went through their phone ist called back as an investor had someone on the phone in 20 seconds.

Requested funds to be transferred to my…

Requested funds to be transferred to my bank acct per their process &waited the 5-7 days as requested. Nothing happened. Seeing nothing indicating my 1st request, I submitted another &received a note I'd be charged a fee in insufficient funds. 1/16/23 called & was told funds were held pending a call from BW to confirm transfer. This isn't on any documentation they provide as part of the process. But no call was made because they are short staffed. Eliza canceled my 2nd request so I wouldn't be charged &promised to call me when funds are processed. Monday 1/23/23 she called, it was processed & due to hit my bank in 1/3 business days. 1/27, no funds in bank & now my BW acct reads "0". "MJ" tells me their system is down & they should be in my bank in 1-2 weeks. I confirmed the number is to a contracted 3rd party with no power to contact BW or remediate issue. There is also no information to be found on the web. Accept the lawsuits and complaints against this company. Not even sure who owns or runs the company after they lost their suit in Texas. Today 2/3/23 no funds are in my bank acct. Called again and "MJ" states the now "system update" was completed 2/1/23. *NONE OF THESE ISSUES WHERE EMAILED OR WRITTEN ON THEIR WEBSITE SO CLIENTS ARE AWARE. But she can write a report. I asked why this didn't happen in January? She said now she thinks it was completed. I asked what the reports do. She said "nothing" and asked if I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I asked if they had more capabilities to help me. "No.". Still I allowed them to transfer me. After 20 minutes, no one picked up. I just opened another HSA acct and confirmed they don't contract out their customer service and there is clear information on remediation and multiple points of contact. Stay away! It is a scam company as evidenced by 3rd party "customer service" no means of actually reaching the company, and no communication of issues they are having that directly impact their customers. I did file a complaint with BBB but they haven't responded & probably won't based upon my experience thus far.

It makes you wonder, if they are holding on to funds as long as possible, are they receiving interest on these funds in some way?

Horrible Service

My company LA County switched over to them this year this was a horrible decision they have no customer service I was on hold today for over 2 hours!!! I called because my card was being declined at RITE AID for my medications and I was told that unfortunately there is nothing they can do they are aware of the situation but at this time there is not further updates. It was very frustrating no help at all !!

SWITCH BACK TO WAGEWORKS!!

The customer service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE and NON-EXISTENT! This is my 5th time calling the phone numbers listed and was on hold for 1 hour and 24 minutes today before I hung up. Found an email as well and received an automatic reply to call the number. Very frustrating, LA COUNTY needs to switch back to Wage Works.

HORRIBLE

If I could give zero stars I would. They take FOREVER to answer a call, but I assume because there are so many pissed off, unhappy people like me calling them. You each someone overseas every time. I made a very large electronic deposit. Checked my account in the time frame they said it would take to post and it wasn't there. They could not tell me where my money was. Said their system was down and absolutely no idea when it would back up. Not ok as people have prescriptions to pick up and bills to pay. I find it interesting in todays day and age that it takes 5 to 7 days for a deposit to post when doing it electronically as it didn't even take 12 hours for the money to come out of my regular bank account to them. Something is very wrong and off.

Nonresponsive Customer Service

My employer switched our HSA provider this year from WageWorks (a functional, responsive company) to whatever this joke of a company BenefitWallet is. May I say, I've tried to resolve ONE claim issue, I've attempted contact multiple times to be left on the phone for over half an hour with no answer. Their online chat function is barely functional. Fix your customer service!

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. I have a claim that I used my card for back in 2021 for over $400 that is “ denied”, so I can’t use my card now which has an available balance of $850 until I submit the paperwork from my endodontist. I submitted it, and was informed via e mail that the claim is still denied. No reason why. I have called multiple times, and get put on hold for ridiculous lengths of time. I get so frustrated I end up hanging up. I have been on hold ( right now) for 45 minutes. At this point I just want to cancel this crappy service because why am I paying into something I can’t use, and can’t get anyone on the phone to help. I FiNALLY got someone after almost an hour on hold. I was told that my card is active, and should not be declined. So let’s see how that goes.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service, I selected the option to use an electric deposit. I had all my information input, yet they couldn't complete the deposit. It took eight months before they could figure it out. Meanwhile, I waited two weeks for a check in the mail. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES.

Been waiting for a debit card since…

Been waiting for a debit card since late August 2022, it now late November 2022. No matter how many times I call, I get its in the mail. I have have medical providers waiting for payments. Called 12-5-22 and told again debit card was sent out today, this is just unreal.

This company is astonishly bad

This company is astonishly bad. I tried to stop a monthly contribution via the website and could not figure out how to do it. I called customer service and they could not figure it out either! How can that be? It is such a fundamental functionality and it is nowhere to be found on the website (or the mobile app). The customer service rep could not even do it manually when asked and didn't seem to care about the issue anyway.

I'm getting out of this HSA as soon as possible.

Most incompetent company I have worked…

Most incompetent company I have worked with in ages! They outsource their call center to the Philippines which is great. Operators are polite and very good at repeating policies however they are awful at solving problems. I had a $14k distribution from an HSA lost and needed to know if the check had cleared. It took 14 days to be told it hadn't! In a world where you can easily look up this information via online banking such a delay is inexcusable. When you try to get past the gatekeepers to anyone that actually works at Benefit Wallet you are told they do not take calls. They called me to give me a status report on the case. They had to take 5 minutes to fully verify me. THEY CALLED ME! know what they told me, after 7days? They had no update at this time! Really you have to fully verify, a person you call to say I have nothing new to tell you? INCOMPETENCE AT HIGHEST LEVEL

worst customer service I've ever dealt with. They are just here leach off corporate accounts while giving the least amount of service they can. I pray congress bans companies like this they are an enemy of the people out to fill their pockets.
