Ordered a dress in November - still awaiting a refund in Feb as they require dress to be sent back to china even though the registered business address at the time of my purchase was Sydney Australia
Dress is now sitting in Chinese customs awaiting them to arrange collection but the will not!
Do not purchase from this company! ABSOLUTE SCAM!

They are scammers which I haven’t received my items. For 3 months every one should report them

I have been trying to return the garment I purchased, for two months. I refuse to pay return shipping to an address in China that I doubt even exists for a postage cost way in excess of what I initially paid for this garment. The item I received in no way resembles the one I ordered nor what is displayed on their website yet they are sticking to their returns policy that states it’s the customer’s responsibility to pay for return postage, despite their negligence and shortcomings!
This is the final email I have just sent them after they apologised for inconveniencing me.

“If you are sorry for the inconvenience you have caused, kindly refund my money or send me the garment that is displayed on your website that I was expecting to be sent to me. Not a close copy, not an inferior copy, not one that is a foot too short, not one that hasn't blouson sleeves, not one that is not floor length and not one that is made from rubbish fabric. All I want is what I ordered and paid for. So, if you cannot do this, I won't bother continuing with this farcical volley of emails and I will report your fraudulent business and provide an honest review that reflects the quality of your products and your lacklustre customer service, in the hope nobody else falls prey to your misrepresentation.”

I bought a v neck red maxi dress. I bought the XL as I have DD bra size. It’s a tad big but I think a large would have been too tight across the chest. Looks great!! nice slit in the leg very sexy. I’m happy with my purchase 😊

Falsely advertised dresses they say they are cotton and linen but are polyester and look nothing like picture.
After you post back to address on received envelope they say you must send to China then do not honour refund any excuse not to refund. Never again. Also lead you to believe based in Australia but actually everything shipped from China so take a long time to arrive.

I've previously given this company a terrible review about the dress I ordered last November and would like to further warn people. I was just looking on Shein have come across the exact same dress with the same photo and same model that was used on mydresses website! I paid $79 for my dress and Shein is advertising it for $18.50.
I don't know if they are associated with Shein or they buy from Shein and then resell for 5 times the price on their site.

Do not buy from this company. Order placed, took over 2 weeks to arrive, sizing wrong. Went through returns policy as instructed on the website, the first part is to contact them which I did but the phone is never answered and they did not reply to emails. I was travelling overseas so informed them (with no response) that I would return it to the address on the website and expected a refund. Upon returning from overseas the package has been returned to sender. I tried ringing again and have emailed but yet again no response.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If you do, what happens next is on you. They are a scam company, they do not help and when the product arrives 3 months later from China, its absolute rubbish. They do not refund and make it very difficult. I have no idea how they are still running.

I ordered a pair of orthopaedic sandals from mydresses. I was of the opinion the goods are dispatched from Sydney but are produced and send from China. The sandals were 50 dollars and are worse 2 dollars. They do not match the pictures, or description on their website and they are way to big even in my right size. Besides that the quality of the product is very poor and the sandals have a horrible smell. Don’t buy anything there it is a scam. I have tried to return the shoes but no answer to my emails and the phone number doesn’t work it is always busy.
Safe your money is all I can say.

Bought a dress listed as a cotton Linen dress, when it came it is in fact a cotton polyester blend dress - no linen content.
False advertising

Despite this being an Australian based website, my dress was sent from China. It took weeks to arrive and have been unable to wear as it didn't arrive in time for the special occasion I had purchased it for.

I did not receive my order and have been getting hot replies. I recommend that you do not purchase from this scam website.

Do not use this company. I WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS FIRST. The products is not as advertised - the quality of fabrics and fit are dreadful and on a cold water wash caused incredible shrinkage (and so the dresses are unwearable. The phone contact is permanently engaged, emails not responded to and the rating of experience of others was masked by the company writing good fake reviews.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. After receiving an automated reply to my initial inquiry, there was no follow-up, making it extremely difficult to resolve an issue. Despite multiple attempts to get in touch, I never received a response from their team.

The product itself was disappointing and not as described on their website. The dress I ordered was advertised as brown, hemmed, and lined, but what I received was red, unlined, and unhemmed—a completely different product from what was shown online. To make matters worse, the website failed to disclose that the dress was manufactured in China, which felt misleading.

According to consumer rights, the company is obligated to cover reasonable return postage costs for a misrepresented product. I’ve asked for their return address and reimbursement for return postage, but the lack of communication has been frustrating. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I’ll have to escalate the matter to my bank and the Department of Consumer Affairs.

Overall, poor customer service and a misleading shopping experience. Avoid if you value transparency and responsiveness.

The worst quality and fitting dress I've bought online. I contacted company for a refund. The first email wasn't answered so tried a second time. They then asked me for photos and a tracking number. I returned to address on website and emailed tracking number only to be told it should go to their China address nit Sydney???? No refund for me. Shit service shit quality dress.

Just received my boho dress nothing like the picture and the material isn't what is advertised absolute crap.
Lesson learnt waste of money. Came from overseas.

I ordered my dresses on November 24th, it is now December 14th and I am yet to receive them. I have contacted MyDresses on several occasions via email (as no one answered the phone on the numerous occasions I called) and was told my parcel was dispatched.
At this stage I was provided a tracking number for the first time. I followed up with the courier (Aramex) who show the parcel leaving Sydney on November 5th en route to Newcastle. Their tracking does not show it arriving in Newcastle.
After raising an enquiry with Aramex, I was brushed off with a generic email. Again I contacted MyDresses requesting they followed up with the courier as I am not considered the customer by Aramex.
The response contained the offer of a voucher and ‘ Unfortunately, once an order is handed over to the courier, such shipping delays are beyond our direct control, but rest assured we're here to support you through this process. Your order was shipped on December 4th, 2024, and while these issues can be annoying, I'm hopeful it will arrive shortly.’

It has increasingly become a trend with companies to take customers money and place the onus on them to chase up what they have paid for.

As a result I have taken to paying with PayPal, as they insure my purchase. I did this in this instance too.

I will now cancel payment.

As your company refuses to be of help from your end as you have the payment, the ball is now in your court once again.

I will not need a voucher.
