Massive thanks to Greg Hall (Lincoln) for helping me pass first time! I thoroughly enjoyed learning with him, and you can really see his expertise and the skills he gained from his school teaching car... See more

My instructor was Amy Lycett, I passed at herne bay, she was lovely, she was teaching me for a few months, she was really patient and I had a really good time with her. I’m going to miss having lessons with her 🫶🏻

I had a great experience with My Four Wheels as it was easy to setup and there was even an app I could use to book lessons and keep a log of my progress. My instructor was Jordan gill who I would recommend to any new driver or even someone with experience. He was very friendly and if I ever made a mistake he would stay calm and tell what went wrong and how I could prevent it from happening again. He also had good music taste which made me calm under pressure aswell. I passed first time with Jordan as I didn’t feel the pressure of failing as he’d taught me everything and made sure I went over it again to get it nailed on.

This has been a great experience so far for me. Knowing that all the information that I need is that my fingertips and For anything that I don’t understand Jo is just literally a phone call away. As I am currently in Work at the moment and also revising for the ADI things are not so easy. Jo has been understanding and supportive and encouraging the whole way.
Had Stacey in the Salisbury area as my instructor. Had a great experience as a first time learner, she was happy to have lessons with me on early weekend mornings which was outside of her usual times which was great for me with my working hours. Every lesson was a joy and I felt reassured and confident every time I was learning something new. I passed first time after having lots of time spent learning with her and would definitely recommend her for anyone new to wanting to learn to drive.
I would keenly recommend Tony in the Tunbridge Wells area. He is a patient, calm and kind gentleman who provides cuttingly relevant feedback. Moreover, he tries to be as flexible as possible with scheduling.
I passed with two minors only and felt confident in my abilities with his instruction from the pervious months.
I'm an experienced driver but I was finding it difficult to pass the test. I failed twice, but then I met Davyda Hill. I couldn't have passed the test without her help. She was very professional and the way she guided me really helped me in the test. I thought I knew my way around the bigger roundabouts, but she sensed that I needed practice. I didn't even realize how important that was until I had to do it in the test. I highly recommend her
My son has passed his test today first time, he started less than 5 months ago. The credit goes to son and an amazing driving instructor Greg Hall. We can't thank him enough. He is very flexible working around my son's other commitments. He kept us both up to date with progress and encouragement. We would highly recommend Greg. Thank you.
Took me a while to pass. The hazard perception was slightly different I felt on the training to the actual test. As far as the support was concerned absolutely excellent from Jo.
I recently passed my test after taking lessons with Martin Murray.
As an experienced driver, unlearning habits developed over years of driving seemed daunting at first but Martin is an amazing teacher. Always patient, very positive and encouraging. The great chats along with the lessons are a bonus. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to pass their test quick.
Stephanie Wesson is my instructor and she is super kind and patient- I couldn’t recommend her enough! Because of her I was fortunate enough to pass first time with 0 minors, she’s a superb teacher. My experience was overall excellent and I’ve really enjoyed my driving lessons with Steph, she’s been a pleasure to have as my teacher. 😁
Passed on my second attempt connor is a great instructor and very friendly
I had a great time learning to drive with Clive and the My Four Wheels platform, it provides structured learning and progress tracking. Having an insight to how your instructor views your driving skills is an invaluable confidence boost.
Clive was a great instructor who was patient, kind, witty and most importantly invested in my success. I couldn't recommend learning from him more.
I was encouraged to learn more than just what was required for me to pass a test, I was taught how to drive and look after a car and given safe exposure to situations where I could experience mechanics such as the ABS.
I was taught to drive by Tony in Tunbridge Wells. He got me to be a very confident driver and pass my test first time. I was very comfortable in the car with him and didn’t feel judged at all when learning, he made it an enjoyable experience rather than a stressful one and I am very grateful!
I joined My Four Wheels because I didn’t have much understanding of how the process works in the UK to become a driving instructor. I expected to be properly introduced to the industry and supported through the journey. What I experienced instead was very disappointing.
I passed Part 1 and Part 2 largely on my own. For Part 3 the most important stage there was very little meaningful in-car guidance or structured development, which contributed to me failing three times and losing around two years. Although a small financial contribution towards further training was later offered, this does not address the core issue.
I also know at least four other trainees locally who had the same trainer and also failed. The impact has been serious—one colleague is even leaving the UK after 16 years, which is heartbreaking.
After my failure, my contract effectively ended immediately. I received no real support just a message that I could no longer teach for money. I was left without income, facing financial pressure and tax responsibilities.
In my experience, the focus felt more on signing people onto franchise agreements and collecting weekly fees, rather than ensuring trainees received the quality training, in-car experience, and exposure needed to meet the required standard—especially during the crucial pink licence stage.
Only after starting again with local school and receiving the right support from the beginning have I been able to fully understand how poor and inadequate my previous training was.
I understand that becoming an instructor requires personal investment. However, when you are paying specifically for training, you should be properly guided, supported, and prepared for what you will be assessed on. This is something I did not experience.
Please do your research carefully before joining My Four Wheels. Don’t be convinced by nice sales talk or promises that everything will be provided and that you will be guided through every stage of training. Make sure there is an experienced trainer available in your area, with the time and capacity to properly train and support you throughout. Don’t be satisfied with minimal support—this process requires proper guidance and real in-car training. Don’t fall for it the way I did, and don’t settle for just an occasional phone call.

Gareth was an excellent driving instructor. He kept the lessons educational as well as making sure it was enjoyable. I started with Gareth as I had an instructor which was unreliable, Gareth made sure to fit me in and work it around my work, even if that meant working late. Gareth made then lessons to fit me and to make sure I was gaining something out of all of the lessons. Gareth built my confidence from day one and taught me from scratch, I can’t thank Gareth enough for helping me pass and being such an amazing instructor.
I honestly can't recommend Adam Molyneux enough. I just passed my driving test first time, and I couldn't have done it without him. Beyond being a technical expert, he was a true mentor who built my confidence from day one, making me feel so at ease. Any time I had a question or was confused about something, he had a clear answer ready. If you're looking for someone who actually makes you feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel, he is definitely the person to go to.
Easiest process ever to get set up, and if my instructor, Ben I'Anson, is anything to go by the instructors are excellent. He made it super easy to pass, his instruction was excellent and he was extremely friendly. I was sad to say bye when i passed!
Highly recommended.
Andy was the most incredible driving instructor. He had endless patience putting up with all my nerves, my 101 questions, and even my attitude lol. No matter how stressed or unsure I felt, Andy always stayed calm, supportive, and explained everything clearly
he helped me build confidence behind the wheel and made every lesson enjoyable.
Thanks to Andy’s amazing teaching, I felt completely comfortable going into my test and passed first time! I’m so grateful for all his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a patient, professional, and genuinely brilliant driving instructor
Allowed to go at my own pace but the support was always there with advice encouragement and feedback on my work on the portal. Regular check ins and knowing support was there at any time i may need it helped a lot in this Part 1.
