Dan Girtu helped me pass on the first attempt at Portsmouth!
I was trained by Dan Girtu in Portsmouth, who is a fantastic instructor. Dan was very professional and is skilled at adapting his teaching methods to suit your driving style/level. He was very patient with my mistakes and had a positive coaching approach, which is always appreciated from a learner.
He helped me unlearn some of the bad driving habits I had previously picked up, which is not an easy task.
When booking my driving test, I managed to get a short notice slot. Dan was very accommodating and flexible, and ensured I had sufficient driving lessons booked with him before the test. He ensured I had sufficient time on the actual test routes.
I honestly feel comfortable and confident on the roads now having being coached by Dan.

Kin was amazing
Kin taught my son to drive, he passed his test within 4 months. Kin was brilliant and would recommend him to any learner driver.

Helpful and honest advice
Jo helped me along the way, she was really genuine and honest. She gave me lots of tips on how to approach the Hazard Perception Test as this was my Achilles heel. Thanks Jo, I wouldn’t have passed my ADI Part 1 Theory Test first time without you!

Ive been having lessons for a few months with tony and finally passed my test today. Tony knows exactly what he is doing and was always confidently reassuring me when mistakes were made. His car is perfect for both new and experienced drivers to practice in and my experience with him and my four wheels has been nothing but positive.

Amy Lycett was my driving instructor…
Amy Lycett was my driving instructor and I passed first time in Herne Bay with 1 minor. Amy is by far the best instructor and should be the blueprint for all inspiring instructors. Her approach towards teaching is the perfect balance between encouraging and challenging. She allows you the freedom of making a mistake, without feeling guilty or knocking your confidence. She ensures you are safe and comfortable when behind the wheel and gives you recognition whenever you over come a hurdle. Honestly the best instructor anyone could ask for, thank you very much Amy!

Excellent experience, would recommend!
After having been let down by a previous instructor, Lee Farquhar stepped in and saved the day. His outstanding instruction has taken me from not believing driving was ever going to be for me, to getting me to passing my test with only four driver faults. I cannot recommend him enough!
