DrPips patiently answered my in-depth inquiry about the inactivity rule.
While before it was just an annoying rule, i now see the reasoning behind it

Seacrest Funded is a reliable and…

Seacrest Funded is a reliable and professional prop firm with great support and smooth payouts. Their trading conditions are fair, and the rules are clearly explained once you get familiar with them. I’ve had an excellent experience with their team, especially Omaferan, who has been very responsive, polite, and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Overall, a trustworthy firm that genuinely cares about its traders.

The worst prop firm

The worst prop firm. They change the rules mid challenge. I just lost my account while waiting for them to “fix the spread issue”, which they never did. Never using this again, not trustworthy.

We are sorry you had trouble passing KYC, but this is not under our control and we do not fail your KYC. KYC and AML can only be failed by you in not providing the correct documentation they ask you to provide. You are failed due to many reasons:
Forged documents
PEP Politically Compromised
Criminal activity involving fraud
POA does not include your address or name
ID was not an approved document
POA was not an approved document
Expired documents more than 3 months old for POA
Using editing software on your documents
When Sumsub asks you to submit a different document and you submit the same one multiple times.

⚠️ WARNING

⚠️ WARNING: Traders, avoid this prop firm and their shady KYC system ⚠️

I passed their evaluation stage fair and square. I proved my trading skills. But when it came time to actually get funded, they pulled the oldest trick in the book — hiding behind a broken KYC system to shut me down.

Here’s the truth:

They outsource KYC to Sumsub — a provider with terrible reputations (go check Trustpilot, their ratings are proof enough). These systems are notorious for failing even legitimate IDs.

I used my real government-issued national ID. It’s the same ID I use in daily life. It’s the same ID that passed KYC with other prop firms — even those using the exact same Sumsub/Veriff systems. Yet somehow, with this firm, it magically “fails.” Why?

When I contacted support, even their own team admitted my ID looked fine. But instead of fixing the issue and approving me, they manually breached my account and closed me out, using “KYC failure” as the excuse.

Think carefully: If you pass evaluation and prove you can trade, what’s the easiest way for a shady firm to avoid paying you? Blame the KYC system. It’s a convenient loophole to deny payouts while keeping your fees.

Let’s be clear — this isn’t compliance. This isn’t about protecting the system. This is about protecting their profits by finding an excuse not to fund traders.

👉 Traders, be warned: you can put in the work, pass the evaluation, and prove your edge… but when it’s time to actually fund you, they can and will hide behind a faulty KYC system to shut you down.

Until they allow manual human verification, I believe this firm — and the shady KYC providers they use — should be avoided at all costs.

This isn’t just bad service. It looks like deliberate denial of funding

Enter at your own risk

Enter at your own risk. I woke up to an email that I have breached my account after losing 1%, I contacted thier team and I was told that my account balance has reached the initial balance which is violated since I've made 6% percent profit before it went back. Well this rule is hidden from thier website. What pains me is the fact that the trade didn't trigger my stop and went over by 800 pips before it was closed. I had nice experience with MFFX

Dear Bonga,
We currently have no hidden rules on our website and all the rules are there for anyone to see. From what you have described you have a 1 Step which has a trailing drawdown. This is not hidden and is even described clearly on the dashboard in your TradeHub. It has a simulated Max Trailing Drawdown of 6% and a simulated Daily Trailing Drawdown of 4%. If you had an issue where your stop was not triggered we can look into this for you. Please send me your information and we will check into this. You can email me at management@myfundedfx.com

My experience with Secret Funded has…

My experience with Secret Funded has been really smooth so far. The platform is straightforward, the rules are clear, and it gives traders a fair shot at showing their skills. What really stood out for me though was the customer service. I had a few questions and Omaferan from support handled them excellently — fast response, clear explanations, and very professional. It’s rare to see that kind of dedication in prop firms these days. Definitely recommend Secret Funded to anyone looking for a reliable prop firm.

Be careful. Seacrest Funded Does Not Respect Its Own Rules

I traded on July 14 and again on August 12 — that’s a 29-day interval. According to their own inactivity rule, an account is only breached if the inactivity period exceeds 30 days, not on the 30th day.

From August 12 to September 10 is exactly 30 days, so it did not exceed the limit. Despite this, Seacrest closed my account without any reminder or warning.

It’s clear they had the intention and motivation to drop a customer, but this should not give them the right to ignore their own rules.

Please provide actual account information and we can look into this for you. Here is the rule listed on our website. https://intercom.help/SeacrestFunded/en/articles/8519973-invalid-or-expired-accounts
It specifically states within a 30 day period you will need to place a trade in order to keep your account active. If you provide me with the information i can look into this for you. Every customer is also notified by email 3 days in advance to notify them they need to place a trade before their account becomes inactive. Hope this helps clear up any issue you may have regarding expired accounts.
