So far the Alexa Skill has worked almost perfectly, but the website for mymedia has multiple broken links including the one for the forum and several social media sites. It has also been over a year since they last updated which is concerning and suggests they may no longer be supporting the software. I have emailed them and if they get back to me, I will update here, but I am not hopeful.
Disappointing... seems like a useful product - links Alexa to a QNAP NAS amongst others and is low cost.. BUT.. the forum is off line - gives 404s- and they don't reply to emails.
The last update seems to be in 2021 or so and thus I can't recommand it at all. Sad..
This project appears dead. Yes, there is the ability to purchase the software, but there is zero communication back from the developers when anyone needs assistance. The forum is just full of users seeking answers, and nothing is coming out from the developers to assist. They don't respond to emails or calls for assistance via Twitter (which appears to be manned by a bot).
If you can find a way to use something else such as Plex or any other service, I encourage you to do so. These guys do not deserve any further revenue from users
