I was part of the MyRealProduct cohort and had a really solid experience.

Before this, most of what I learned about AI felt scattered, some places focused on ideas, others on LLM concepts like RAG or LangGraph, and others on deployment or getting users. This was the first time everything came together in a structured way.

In just four weeks, I was able to build a real product end-to-end, which made a big difference in how I understand the space now.

Hari was very generous with his time and answered questions even beyond the core material, which made the experience feel genuinely supportive.

The small cohort size also helped. It was interactive, easy to ask questions, and didn’t feel overwhelming.

I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to go from just learning about AI to actually building something with it.

I joined MyRealProduct with the goal of moving beyond classrooms and actually building something meaningful and that’s exactly what I was able to do.

During the program, I built ClearInsurance, an AI-powered tool that simplifies complex insurance policies through summarization, clause highlighting, and a chatbot interface. What stood out to me was the strong emphasis on shipping a real product, not just learning concepts in isolation.

Hari’s approach is very execution-focused. Instead of overloading with theory, the program pushes you to think in terms of problem → solution → MVP → iteration, which is extremely valuable if you’re trying to transition into product or AI roles. The mentorship and feedback loops helped me refine both my technical and product-thinking aspects of the project.

Another aspect I genuinely appreciated was the community. Being surrounded by people who were also building in parallel created a strong sense of accountability and momentum. Even after the cohort ended, the support didn’t just stop, you can still reach out, get feedback, and continue improving what you’ve built, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to take your skills further.

That said, the program is intense and fast-paced. If you’re completely new to AI or development, you may find it challenging to keep up without putting in extra hours. It requires ownership and consistency.

Overall, I’d recommend My Real Product to anyone who is serious about:
• building a portfolio-ready AI product
• developing real-world product thinking
• getting out of “tutorial mode” and into execution

I had no prior coding experience, but this course helped me gain the confidence to build products on my own.
The hands-on approach made it easy to start using AI for coding and customizing apps and websites based on my needs. Hari is always approachable and available to clarify any doubts.

Hari went out of his way to be available throughout the cohort and personally answer any questions. He broke down the complex AI Engineering ecosystem into manageable chunks. Only qualm is about the length of the cohort which is 4 weeks - particularly week 2 needed the most knowledge transfer and could have been broken down into 2 weeks instead of one.

This is a great platform to get hands on experience building an actual AI product. Not just another notebook project - you get to build an entire website end-to-end with AI features and ship it to production. Hari's inputs throughout the cohort are extremely helpful. Highly recommend to someone who is trying to learn AI or break into this industry!

I had the opportunity to attend the ‘my real product’ cohort in May 2025. With minimal coding skills in Python I was able to build a real world MVP called expirygenie, which is food inventory app to track expiry dates. Every week I learnt a lot of AI tools from my instructor Hari. He always used to say, not to think about solution,instead first try to identify the problem and its scope. I enjoyed the learning under him which shaped my AI skills and I gained confidence in building real world apps. I would definitely recommend highly motivated AI learners to build AI Products under his team

I had a great experience working with Hari and team for one of the early cohorts of MRP. I’ve learned a great deal of systemic Thinking and building step by step. If you’re starting out or just want to see your ideas in action, this is the place to be.

Before April 2025, I had very little understanding of AI and felt quite unsure about coding. After connecting with Hari Prasad Renganathan, I gained clarity on how AI works and how to practically build products through MyRealProduct.

Joining the August cohort was definitely worth the investment. Beyond learning AI, I developed discipline, time management, and got the opportunity to collaborate with great mentors and peers.

What makes this program stand out is its focus on building, not just learning tools. With so many AI platforms available, it can be overwhelming, but Hari does a great job narrowing it down to the essentials and guiding you through the process of creating a real product with a team.
Collaborating with peers who are as equally curious and motivated made the experience even more impactful. We didn’t just build an MVP, we learned how to understand user needs, define the problem first, and develop solutions always with the customer in mind.

As someone who was just starting out in AI, this course gave me everything I needed and then some. In 4 weeks you don't just learn the concepts, you actually build a real product. That's what sets it apart. The learning is intense but it never feels like just theory every concept connects directly to something you're building. The team was genuinely helpful whenever I got stuck, and by the end I walked away with both the knowledge and something real to show for it. If you want to actually do AI and not just study it, this is the one.
