Unclear account emails, often with data missing. There is only a chat service, it's not possible to speak to any agent live which seems discriminatory. Everything needs to be done on the app, but then... See more

Very frustrating experience
Very frustrating experience. I made genuine attempts to pay for parking almost immediately after arriving, but the QR code provided at the car park was inactive and RingGo's verification process also failed. I even had timestamped evidence showing that I was trying to pay, yet GXS rejected the appeal without meaningfully addressing any of it. I was happy to pay the normal parking tariff and was never trying to avoid payment, but instead received a £100 charge because the advertised payment process did not work properly. Very poor customer service and an unnecessarily rigid approach.
Hyundai not recognised by RingGo
I attempted to pay for parking in Upminster, Essex, using the telephone number on the RingGo notice that was displayed.
Having got through to the automated system, and been asked for my number plate and vehicle make, I found that the system does not recognise Hyundai as a manufacturer, no matter what pronunciation used.
I tried for over 20 minutes using the 02030460010 number to record and pay for parking, but having got through, kept getting stuck at the manufacturer's name.
In the end I gave up and moved my car to a parking place run by a different company.
The Ringo phone process caused me to be very late for an appointment, and added totally unnecessary stress to my day.
With the plethora of car manufactures in existence now, and the range of models those manufacturers produce, surely a parking app ought to be set up to recognise the various manufacturers' names and products, and how people might pronounce those names.
What a load of utter rubbish
What a load of utter rubbish. Try to pay for parking in an area with no reception, doesn't work. The option to pay later is equally as ineffective as you log in and there is no history of the location you tried to pay at. You are required to input the location code, no option to use the name of the place. How this company got the contract is beyond me. Get a grip!
It is ridiculous that in the 21st…
It is ridiculous that in the 21st Century that this absurd system is in place. You cannot just pay by card no - I stood in the rain with no signal trying to pay this joke of a parking service.
2026 - you can tap your card almost anywhere - car parks in remote areas, buses, planes, ferries - public toilets even but not in many towns in Kent where the local councils have chosen the farcical, dysfunctional Ring Go. Download an app - with no signal, create a password, ring a number but your battery is dying. Stand in the rain trying to deduce what you are supposed to do. It’s frankly rage inducing it’s so ludicrous.
I know my log in is correct but can’t…
I know my log in is correct but can’t get onto app. They tell me to change password but then don’t send verification code. Why do councils use this app. ?
Useless company
Might as well jump on the band wagon with this one! I paid to park in Sainsbury’s car park Folkestone, I select the wrong car park according to euro car parks, but on the ringo map I did park in the right place, their map is wrong. I appealed it, denied, went to ringo, which seems is all ai generated responses. They refuse to help, tell me I have to go back to euro car parks and get through them. Don’t worry about it ringo that you’re wrong and costing people money!! Scum bags!
Scam 2 codes same place only 1 works
Parked in a car park paid using the code on a lamp post on the same grounds as the car park. Wrong code there were 2 stickers on faced inwards one faced out wards never thought would have different numbers. But the parking code i used was for,
the roadside across the other side of the car park. WHY was the lamp post with that code connected to the car park?
USE AS A LAST RESORT
I been using Ring Go for years. as long as you use the app and have no issues its fine, as soon as you get through to a staff member "Brandon" or similar you're doomed. not understanding at all, its their loss as i have been paying through a different method so they lost on a daily basis. their feedback says it all. i will now use this app as a last resort and will try my best as a family of 4 to use this very infrequently, less frequent than my normal. totally lost respect and their 1.5 feedback score and over 2k people cannot be wrong.
How are you supposed to pay for parking…
How are you supposed to pay for parking when it doesn't send code to either email or mobile 🤦🏻♂️
I'm now on the train I need to get on and still waiting to logon to the app
I have previously used the app and have a username and password saved which for some reason didn't work???
Not good, be much easier to be able to tap Debit card like most places use now!
Fraudulent pricing
Scummy company. Charges a "convenience fee", which is an illegal booking fee as per recent legislation.
Does not allow you to extend your booking but forces you to pay for a whole new session, charging you far more than the advertised price for parking.
Charges for SMS messages without making it clear up front that you will be charged for them.
Falsely represents their TrustPilot score on their Google Play page (claiming 4.5 stars versus their actual 1.2 rating at time of writing).
In Poole all machines are ‘out of use’…
In Poole all machines are ‘out of use’ and forced to use RingGo. You then get charged a premium over the ‘advertised’ charge
It’s fraud in anyone’s definition
It took over half an hour
It took over half an hour. The site kept sending me round and round in circles. Parking at Lucy Hill New Forest. Worried l was scammed. Only persevered because such a lovely spot. Sha.e on Forestry Commission for not putting user friendly payment system in place.

Utterly useless company
Utterly useless company. Rang their number (at 2pm in the afternoon) and it says customer service unavailable atm, try ringing (the number I just rang). What a joke.
Very happy with how this was dealt…
Very happy with how this was dealt with. Was charged parking fee when it clearly stated first hour free. Excellent response and fully refunded.
Quite shocking
Quite shocking. Impossible to reach a human being. Phone help can't recognise clear speech and can only deal with a simple parking request. Website hopeless. Bot is worse than HAL in 2001 A Space Odyssey. App not fit for purpose. BRING BACK CASH
Confusing and incomprehensible
The parking location reference number on the noticeboard at the Rufus Stone was painted over so couldn't be read for us to pay. There was no wi-fi at the location so we decided to make our payment at home later. We read that it could be paid the next day. At home we tried the phone number on the notice from our photo of it and it wanted the location reference which was painted out. We clicked on the schematic map to find the location code but as far as we could see the Rufus Stone location wasn't shown so we picked something nearby instead. Then we couldn't enter the backward time of our arrival which was 17.00. We were at the location for less than 15 minutes. In our quest to be honest citizens, the process became totally chaotic and incomprehensible. Be careful because if you choose to receive SMS confirmations they add 15p per SMS. So it ended up that we paid for an hour's parking commencing at about 21.30 which must seem very odd because what would anyone be doing at the Rufus Stone for an hour at that time of night? Clearly, the people responsible for designing this system never actually have to use it. It's left to the poor saps trying to be honest to spend their entire evening trying to sort this stuff out! Beware!
If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. Impossible to contact, even to discuss a scam text fiasco. They are aware of this as it is prominent on the Home page but the information given about reporting is in the wrong order so that you delete the phishing text number - I wonder why that is? Reported to the ICO.
I have to say you parking prices in…
I have to say you parking prices in Bournemouth are a real rip off. It’s disgusting. In certain areas in London you charge for what time you use. It should be the same all over UK. For 6hrs parking I paid £23 that’s just day light robbery.
Incorrect time charged and session can’t be adjusted.
Called the number. Asked for one hour but charged for two. No options to check the timings at the time or adjust them afterwards. DAYLIGHT robbery. The website doesn’t work to answer questions or provide help. They say there is a help tab and there isn’t. They say there is a search bar but it doesn’t work. Utterly appalling. Should definitely be illegal. Why
