Unclear account emails, often with data missing. There is only a chat service, it's not possible to speak to any agent live which seems discriminatory. Everything needs to be done on the app, but then... See more

Bloated process and incorrect signage.
The signs at the Bristol Trenchard Street car park that you first encounter tell you in order to pay, keep your ticket, but the machine doesn’t give you a ticket because it’s got number plate recognition cameras.
There are Ring go signs telling you the corresponding location number and urging you to download the app to pay.
I’m going to be parking here a lot and this was my first time so I thought I would download the app and try it.
At the end of the stay I logged on to the app rather than pay at the machine because of all the signs. The app didn’t recognize my location so I entered it manually.
Then it asked me to scan the ticket.
So I went to pay at the machine anyway, even though the signs on the machine are urging you to pay via the app.
Apparently they charge a small fee for using the app. They have the absolute nerve to produce a video called Parking is made easy with the Ring go app.
When I was stood at the machine there was a young couple who were just as confused.
The whole thing was complicated and the signs were misleading and incorrect.
The final cherry was a sign that says “ exit, level one” with an arrow pointing to a downward ramp.
Of course the sign meant level one in the direction of the arrow, and exit straight ahead and I obediently followed the ramp in order to exit.
For me following signs and believing that they are accurate and truthful has led me to making the wrong decisions.
I’m still not even sure if the ring go app can be used in this car park that is advocating. I’ll be deleting the app and paying at the machine for the foreseeable future.
app and customer care are a total…
app and customer care are a total shambles
Absolutely Incompetent
Absolutely Incompetent! Neither their app works or their deaf automated answering service. Councils should immediately appoint a different parking company!
The worst ever service
I tried to call their contact number to pay for parking. After following their instructions carefully, I got to the point where they wanted my car registration number. After offering my details 6 times and they weren't recognised by their AI so i gave up. Managed to source coins from people passing. What a nightmare!!!!. Upon getting back to my hotel I had WiFi so decided to download the app. I had registered before so I thought it would be simple. Guess what yet another nightmare. When I had last registered I had a other car which I sold so couldn't recall the number plate. It wouldnt let me use the app without that number. How can a countrywide company get it so wrong in this day and age. Local authorities who use these people should not renew their contracts and get people who are able to provide a proper service.
Awful awful company
Awful awful company.
Do not register your details with this company. They have had several data breaches and as a result you start to get regular scam texts informing you that you owe for parking when you don’t.
The company is unsafe. BEWARE!
Absolutely scam
Absolutely scam. £2.20 for 2 hours on unmonitored potholed wasteland. And, there is no way of making a direct complaint to the company. No email address ir contact options are provided.
Awful scam do not use
Awful scam do not use . Manchester beware you cannot pay later. Cycle to town do not drive and park with them
terrible service - avoid at all costs
terrible service, I genuinely forgot to pay for parking this week and just remembered so contacted them to try and pay for my parking, the chat advisor was unhelpful, told me I couldn't pay for the parking then when I was trying to discuss it further told me that was the end and hung up on me, I shall be trying to avoid Ringo in the future and park elsewhere where possible
I realise I made the mistake but I'm trying to rectify this and they don't listen
This is in Manchester
This is in Manchester. No machine to pay. A sign said pay online after. Which I tried to by signing up for the app. Nowhere on the app would it allow you to pay for the day before. Contacted them via there website and AI generated email came back. The fat controller wants to get off his backside and get some work done.

In Bristol I couldnt log onto the app kept coming up with an error. Then tried the phone and was told they don't accept this type of card was a standard Natwest debit Mastercard card which works everywhere else.
Eventually found the website which wasnt advertised and it worked.
The last week in Burton went to Cineworld and the first 2 hours were free but it was a 3 hour film. Tried using the app I couldnt log in as couldnt remember password, tried to refresh it but no validation text was sent. At the point of dispare I went into the Cinema and they showed me how I could enter my reg details their and get an extra 2 hours free. Still rubbish though as it meant we didnt have long enough to go to the restaurant next door after the film.
I have used this app numerous times…
I have used this app numerous times without a problem. However i have now deleted this load of rubbish due to recieving my first pcn in over 60years of driving!! Here's what happened; Parked my car last Sunday morning on a car park in North Berwick. Entered the code displayed on the ticket machine and my saved car details came up. What should have come next was the page which allows you to choose length of time and cost etc. Instead i got message "payment dismissed" Tried again and got same message so assumed parking was free on Sunday. Came back to car at 3pm to find pcn on windscreen. Ran over to meter maids who had just written out the pcn to be told that after 1pm on Sunday there was a charge!! Who the ##! charges after 1pm on Sundays? East Lothian council do and advertise it on one small crowded sign in 1 inch high letters at the entrance of the car park!! Anyway enough of them and back to RingGo. Next thing i got onto RingGo apps robot to ask why the app did not warn me of later charges. The impressive AI thing could offer no get out except to offer to draft an appeal. I think if i had asked how to make a bolognese it would have come up with a recipe!! Lessons learned? Do not rely on apps and if you visit North Berwick, go on your bike
Dysfunctional Management
Poor software, poor service the Board need firing.Any company or Council that deploys this service is telling you they don’t give a damn about you, vote with your wheels and go somewhere else.
Very poor
Automatrd voice useless does not recognise simple word, makes and registration numbers. Other variations pretty poor eg. downloading app very long process. Lancaster Council must take responsibility as well for using them
Unscrupulous money grabbing scum
The day we parked, their app via the QR scan to pay wasn’t working. I took a screenshot and when we got home, I downloaded their app and paid for parking. I then messaged them with proof of payment details & screenshot of non working app, to be told, you can’t pay later!! I’ve since been issued with a parking fine. Not only do they charge an additional ‘convenience fee’ for inconvenience, they don’t provide a reliable charging system and especially in a location where internet is hardly accessible. how do they expect people to pay. They’re a load of thieving scumbags and can take me to court.
Awful
Awful. You get charged a "convenience fee" to use it each time. I'd rather have the convenience of using cash or card.
Daylight robbery.
Further to my recent review
Further to my recent review, I received an email from Ringgo telling me that they would "love to hear how we did on your recent request."
Ha, another 1 star comment - still nothing from the complaints team or the CEO.
Park ANYWHERE but Ringgo!!!!
Where do I begin
Where do I begin. I've wasted several hours trying to set up autopay on their app for my credit/debit cards. It just wont accept them. I sent an email & got automated reply basically blaming the bank! It's their fault & no more responce, frustration doesn't begin to describe how I feel.
Then we come to Glasgow City permit renewal another couple of hours down the drain. They're more interested in sending texts to verify email & mobile phone than anything else & I know the b%^&*< password I had to change it 3 times!
The permit renewal saga was just as bad last year & I got a parking ticket which I appealed against. They saw no grounds for appeal but would only charge me £40 not the full £80 how very kind of them! So you would think a year down the line RingGo / Council would have it sorted not a fat chance. Still the same problems even when you try & re register your car more verification / password changes. I cant delete the ringgo app as I still have an out standing parking permit aaarrrggghhh!
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. The app appears to have serious data security and privacy issues, leaving me with little confidence that customer information is being properly protected. The company needs to improve its cybersecurity and take data protection much more seriously.
Very expensive
Very expensive. Poor signage advising first 20 minutes is free.
Then get charged for every text they send you.
Avoid sting go carcass.
Riongo - My worst nightmare
