Moderately challenging and worth every penny!!
Last year we bought another of MysteryLocks’ escape room puzzles. It was a great experience for my teens plus my husband and myself!! Even though we set it up, we got to enjoy the puzzles along the way because we didn’t read too much as we prepared it ;)
It was fun, moderately challenging, and worth every penny! We loved it so much, we bought another one for this year. Looking forward to playing alongside our teens again this year! I expect it will be every bit as fun as the first one. Thanks, guys!!

Easy entertainment
I purchased Psycho's Maze and the Hotel of Lost Souls. Both were very well done. Set up was easy. I did contact MysteryLocks with a couple of questions and they replied quickly. Psycho's Maze was played with 14 adults. I printed two copies so everyone had something in their hands to work with but we collaborated as a whole group. We did use two of the hints but completed it under the hour time limit. It was a lot of fun. The Hotel of Lost Souls was a little harder. It was a group of six adults. We used more hints and it took us longer than the two hours but it was still a great experience. I look forward to more of these adventures.

We hosted a birthday party with this as one of the events. Being a mine theme, we put the kids in our dark unfinished basement with a single dim bulb of light, lanterns, and cave 'music' to set the mood. The boys had a great time and thought the game was a lot of fun! It was a hit! Our only disappointment is that for our two groups competing against each other it took them only 10-15 minutes each, 4 kids in each group, ages 8-11. They could have handled it being twice as long. We'll have to try an adult one next time instead.

MysteryLocks does instantly deliver downloadable escape room activities. I do wish though that the graphics were nicer, that they got a graphics artist to actually make some of their own images rather than slapping together images with power point shapes or something on them.
