Appalling travel agent

Appalling travel agent. These guys are crooks. We booked our family holiday flight to Italy with them and Wizz Air. They changed our flight to 9 hours later, which meant we would have got to our campsite at 2.30am (impossible to put a tent up then). We would have to pay for a hotel until the morning. We wanted a refund (as it says on their website that they will do), but they are making it very difficult. After 17 phone calls and countless emails, they have offered us a refund minus £512 'admin fees'. They are relying on their customers to just give up and let them win. Luckily we booked on credit card, so Barclaycard are on the case now.

If you're considering booking through…

If you're considering booking through Mytrip: DON'T.
⭐ Still waiting for refund after 18 business days. Customer service hangs up!!

Mytrip cancelled our KUL–Zhengzhou booking on April 3 due to a schedule change.

Their own email promised a refund within 10–15 business days. It's now been 18 business days. No refund!!

We've called multiple times to follow up. One agent literally hung up on us. Others just tell us to check the refund status page, which has said "In progress" for weeks with zero updates.

And now? They're telling us we need to contact China Southern Airlines directly to get our refund.

Think about that.
We paid Mytrip. Mytrip cancelled the booking. Mytrip promised to process the refund.

And now Mytrip says it's our job to chase the airline ourselves. If we wanted to deal with the airline directly, why would we book through your platform in the first place?

Their cancellation email says "please wait for our notification before attempting to contact us again." So they cancel your flight, hold your money past their own deadline, give you no updates, and then tell you to sort it out yourself?

So if you're considering booking through Mytrip: don't. Book directly with the airline. At least you'll have someone accountable to talk to when things go wrong.

I have been waiting for my refund for 2 months

The people who is looking to book with my trip.com. DONT DO IT.

I have been waiting for my refund since the 12th of March 2026 and it is the 29th April 2026

I asked for management to contact me and I received a generic response

below is the email I received from Mytrip

TO Anushka G I am very disappointed with your customers service

Hi Sina,

We hope you are doing well

We would like to provide you with an update regarding your refund request. As per our records, the refund application was
submitted to the airline on 27 March 2026. At this time, we have not yet received the refunded amount from the airline/consolidator.

Please note that once a refund request is submitted, the processing time is determined by the airline, and it may take some time for the funds to be released back to us. We are actively monitoring the status and will continue to follow up to ensure timely processing.

We understand that you have been waiting for this refund and sincerely apologize for the delay. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

Kindly be assured that as soon as we receive the refund from the airline, we will process it back to your original form of payment without any further delay.

If you have any questions or require further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us.

The worst agent by far in the world

The worst agent by far in the world. They charged me for food that never served onboard. I have an email from the airline that they do not serve and no charge a fee for food. This disgusting agent refused to refund. Just avoid them

Refund not being processed

customer services unable to provide refund/ticket exchange information despite calling everyday. The airline refunded MyTrip 2 weeks ago, but MyTrip has not refunded me. The customer services number cuts off and you are unable to speak with anyone.

MyTrip is the worst company I have ever…

MyTrip is the worst company I have ever dealt with!

I booked a round-trip flight through them which took place during the war period, when flights were being canceled everywhere. They sent me a cancellation notice only for one flight, even though both flights never actually took place.

For the return flight, they keep claiming that the flight operated as scheduled, even though there was no flight at all — and I have proof of that.

For the flight they officially canceled, I requested a refund more than a month and a half ago, and I still have not received a single penny. They simply took my money and gave nothing in return.

Trying to contact them is a nightmare. It is extremely difficult to reach a real person, and when you finally do, the responses are useless, robotic, and show zero care or responsibility toward the customer.

This company has no respect for its customers. They ignore complaints, delay refunds, and leave people helpless.

Protect yourself and do not ever book through MyTrip. Shame on this company for stealing customers’ money!

Most horrible client-service ever

Most horrible client-service ever. Ordered return-flight (with one stopover) was re-sheduled so, that it was impossible. Got email from my trip robot " you have two options. You can cancel one or both parts of return flight. We refund it. Please choose your option and answer this e-mail". I answered. Nothing happened. For a month. Called help-desk. " Those emails cannot be answered. They are automatic e-mails" was answer after 1,5 hours waiting. Then I was routed to other help desk. " Hold the line. You are nr. 406 on que." Called again. Help-desk promised to take of my issue. Nothing happened so far (over 1 month). No cancelling inappropriate flights . No refund. I NEVER USE My trip again.

Price jumps right before payment

Price jumps right before payment. No warning. Feels like a scam.
If you book on their official website, the lower price is still there. So the increase makes no sense.

Terrible company -the worst customer service. Please avoid this company
They always tell you different information about your booking -you can not speak to any manager/supervisor. If you ask them, they will tell you to ring back again and speak to another representative 🤔
I wish I could give them zero stars if I had an option

Avoided using MyTrip

We used MyTrip to book a holiday from Europe to Australia at the beginning of the year and were due to fly in March. As the flights travelled via Dubai, this trip was cancelled due to the conflict in Iran. Roughly two weeks after the cancellation, MyTrips confirmed that they had received a refund from Emirates Airlines and it would be in my account in 7 days. After a month I contacted them and they told me there was an error but please wait another few days. Following several more weeks I reached out again and threatened legal action and following this I finally received confirmation that my €2,500 payment would be returned. In total my funds were held by MyTrip for almost 2 months. This has put my family under huge financial stress and until they were threatened, it appeared MyTrip did not have any intention on returning my money. Please use a different company when buying multi city flights. If anything goes wrong they will not help, and if they do, it will be themselves.

Worst travel agency to deal with. 1 of our flights got canceled by the airline but my trip refused to refund it even though I should proof. They stopped replying to emails and when you get a hold of them by phone your waiting hours just to talk with a human. They happy to take money but make every excuse to not give a refund
