DO NOT USE they service

DO NOT USE they service, this a scam. I just force to register this service because I would like to bid a expired domain on dropcatch.com. Namebright will request you add credit card information, after that they automatic add email service package to your account, and also automatic charge your fee for this package without any notices.

Trying to sign up for an account but NEVER even get the confirmation mail. Stuck! No way to contact them AT ALL!

Site looks like a greedy shady scam company. It stinks like a fraud! It is one of these companies that rapidly bought a ton of great domainnames for $10 each and sell them on as 'Premium Domains' for $2.000 - $20.000 ONLY to make money on people who weren't fast enough to get their domain name.

Stay away from these greedy bastrds!

NameBright: Buggy DNS & No Support

NameBright looked promising to start with, given their low fees for domain registration renewal and their tie-up with their sister company Dropcatch. However, support is non-existent. Emails are ignored and there is no telephone support. The software for Namebright and dropcatch appears to be from 1998. It is real legacy stuff. TBH that is fine if it works, but namebright is buggy. The DNS propogation must work for most people but not for me. I swapped nameservers back to namebright defaults, along with the DNS defaults. However it seems the DNS settings just never propagate. It has been four days. I suspected a problem when it took multiple attempts to actually get the DNS default settings to populate and it seems their systems are just ignoring them. Thank heaven it is not on a domain I was hosting a website on. What a catastrophe that would have been. I have read other complaints about their DNS not working too. As DNS is vital, I wont ever be using this company again. Better off paying a tiny bit more to anyone else to actually have things work. Their whole set up is such a good idea, with dropcatch and could be so good, but you can see it isn't managed properly. Even the help sections are badly written, incomplete, confusing and amateur, maybe like the person's first language is not English. NameBright: DNS is vital - fix your buggy software. Don't keep blaming complaints on the incompetence of the reviewers. I know what propagation is and what DNS settings are and I was around in 1998, which is the era your two sites appear still to be in.

I bought a domain from a seller than insisted it be transferred to NameBright. NameBright locked its transfer to other Registrars for a period. After that period I logged onto do the transfer and round the locked period has been extended without notice. I find this very unprofessional and annoying.

What a horrible company

What a horrible company, never buy your domains here, they will take your money, then suspend your account without any warning or email.

Stay away and just got to Namecheap
