So out of the blue I got an email from Namecheap legal and abuse team stating that my hosting was suspended due to "overusing limits of shared resources, affecting the server performance and other accounts hosted thereon." They highlighted one of my websites was using too many resources, and The following resource limits have been exceeded:
- CPU Usage
- Memory Usage

Since then, I have uninstalled that website and removed the domain from the hosting. I also removed 2 other websites from the hosting. The CPU usage is now 0, and Memorry usage on 2.67% usage but the legal and abuse team keeps sending me the same email over and over again despite me explaining the above. Even their support team tells me the usage is much lower now and should not have any issues.

I keep getting the same response from legal and abuse team, stating "We would like to highlight that the reported issue remains unresolved." and refusing to provide additional specific details other than the log file which is giberrish to me. Very unprofessional communication and utterly dissapointing.

--------------------------------------------------
It has been over 48 hours, and I have still not received any response regarding my domain transfer request and WordPress backups. This delay is unacceptable.

Once again, I am requesting the immediate transfer of the following domains to my Namecheap account (Username: amalnamecheap2):

termabikes.shop
kernabikes.shop
flikbikes.shop
bonnetv.com
meilleur-iptv-quebec.shop
livelonger.shop
dualtronz.shop
canadian-iptv.shop
Additionally, I requested full backups of my WordPress websites, and that has also been ignored.

Your lack of response is highly unprofessional. I expect you to prioritize this request immediately and confirm once the transfers and backups are completed. If there are any issues, communicate them right away instead of leaving this unanswered.

If I do not receive a prompt update, I will escalate this matter further.

Best regards,

One of the best IT Customer Care Personnel

I was having issues with my A record assignment with Vercel and I REACHED out to the namecheap customer care reps. It started from from a rep called Sowmiya who redirected me to Ihor from the Hosting department. They were very patient, especially Ihor. They helped me resolve my issue and my now my domain is back on.

They were overall very friendly and very patient. I think they deserve a raise. Good job Namecheap.
Great Staff

You pay for what you don't get

They have offered a website-builder which doesn't stay in proportion across all devices once you've designed it - so, for example, you design what you think will look great while having put the site together on a full-screen monitor only to then view the website on a laptop or tablet and it be out-sized.

They ignore your request to speak to developers and management, like one of these outsourcing corporations where the bosses never have to personally enter into discussions concerning the inadequacy of their business.

They don't enter into discussions as to the fact that a website being in proportion across all devices is the job of the programmers / coders who put the website-builder together initially.

When putting the point to them, they ignore right-reason and then respond by saying that the customer can obtain one's own web-developer to make the site consistent using coding...wait a moment, so I have to now pay, on top of my subscription, two-thousand pounds just to get the website to stay in size-ratio; or, they state that you can turn off 'visibility' for each element within each page from one device-layout to another and edit it without (universally) affecting the other device-layouts and which is not only a stupid way around but simply doesn't work.

Put simply, they have put forward a web-builder which is not developed properly and they have undoubtedly been made aware of this by many people before me but just don't care.

As for the domain-naming aspect to Namecheap, not much can go wrong with that.

Everyone knows that laptops and tablets exist, and phones, and that websites will be viewed on all of them, and so to not have the website be in size-ratio automatically across all devices is totally rubbish.

Do not use pay for their web-builder. Go elsewhere. Or try and claw your money back with your bank if you've already subscribed.

Namecheap.com Domain Hijacking Move It or Lose It!

Namecheap.com Domain Hijacking. Better move it or LOSE IT from Namecheap.com
Namecheap.com Domain Hijacking Thieves

if you have a domain with this company move it now

They are crooks and will steal your domain.

They just suspended our custom domains without any warning simply because some monkey from a competition site filed a complaint

Then they have the nerve to extort monies from us by asking to register with an association which has no governing body in Canada.

Namecheap.com CEO Richard Kirkendall does not even care and made no effort to resolve our complaints

So Mr. Richard Kirkendall this is just the beginning of customers complaint against your scam

And for the record you customers should go to another domain registrar that is reputable and not thieves

Someone reported our sites as illegal. We are not an illegal website, and the monkeys suspended our domains without a legal determination.

We are a Canadian Company and governed by Canadian regulatory boards

An American compliance company based out of Portland which has no government regulation stated we are operating illegally.

Namecheap.com has no content on their website and we do not use their garbage webhosting services

Canada operates by different rules. and again has a totally different regulatory board to comply with.

The monkeys decided they are going to judge and jury and stole and hijacked our domains without doing any due diligence.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER BUY A DOMAIN FROM NAMECHEAP.COM

Thy have no business policing your website. They are a USA company but their domain is registered in ICELAND

Who knows, maybe they are a Rogue Domain Seller

WE ASKED FOR HELP MULTIPLE TIMES AND REPEATEDLY BUT THE TEAM WAS RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS AND REFUSED TO ASSIST US.

THE INCOMPETENT ILLITERATE WHO SUSPENDED OUR DOMAINDS DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO RESPOND. EXCEPT TO SAY WE NEED COMPLAINACE FROM USA

Obviously, the guys knowledge is over flooded by his stupidity. How can we possibly get compliance from a USA regulatory body when we are not in the USA

Namecheap also is registered under Namecheap.ca but they have no compliance and not based in Canada. They are obviously a Rogue Domain Reseller

So again to all you innocent people who want to protect your domain

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER REGISTER YOUR DOMAIN WITH NAMECHEAP.COM

THEY WILL SUSPEND YOUR DOMAIN WITHOUT NOTICE AND EVEN AFTER YOU PROVIDE PROOK THE CLOWNS WILL BLOCK AND SUSPEND YOUR DOMAINS

If you have a domain with Namecheap MOVE IT NOW OR RISK LOSING YOUR DOMAIN FOREVER

Now after suspending al of our customers domains, you have the audacity to tell us that if we respond to a private request you will try and resolve this matter.

We have tried and spent multiple hours trying to knock some common sense in your suppliers thick head.

The person will not even identify himself. Check with your compliance team and find the illiterate incompetent fool who caused us this headache

There is nothing more here for us to do. Just release all of our customers domain names which you have hijacked by acting like judge and jury, and we will move all of our domains to a more reputable and professional registrar.

We are done here, so get this if our domains are not all restored and allowed to transfer out rest assured that this review will be repeated on every social media site, and review boards.

What part of this don't you understand?
