I would call the new playing system demoralising. The new format has sucked the enjoyment out of playing the lottery. I don't care about the national lottery having a double draw, the lowest prize o... See more

Absolutely appalling the new format. A prize of a £1 is a joke you can’t even buy a bar of chocolate or packet of crisps with that any more . The prize structure to say is disappointing is an unders... See more

Can't put numbers on for whole month

The national lottery app is particularly rubbish as it doesn't let you put numbers on for 5 weeks which is important for the thousands of small syndicates that put all their numbers on monthly. Is this really difficult to offer.

Revert back to the old website

When attempting to replay my last numbers for the next 4 weeks, it can now only pick up on a lucky dip that you've won? Messages aren't clearly showing which have and haven't been opened. I can no longer view or screenshot the entire tickets, which is annoying when I want to check if I've won, since you can't log in in the small hours. This website used to be really easy to navigate, now it just gives me a headache. It's also annoying that I missed to renew my 4 weekly tickets on lotto and set for life because no email had been sent to inform me they'd ended. None of these things were an issue before.

Sarcasm and Exasperation is not an Appropriate Response

Today, I encountered an error with my online account and so for the first time ever, I rang the National Lottery helpline. I was treated to heavy sarcasm, disbelief and utter frustration in my response to my description of my account's interaction with the website. If everything always works the way it should, there would be no need for a helpline!
Please employ people with a longer fuse, who don't treat you like an idiot and who don't respond with "nah" when you point our their obvious exasperation.

It's a big scam

It's a big scam, no one has ever won big money, only small amounts of money, it's better for people to save their money, you can't win here, I tried it and the winnings were a maximum of 5 pounds and when I wanted to transfer them to my account, it couldn't be done, my own experience and I'm not alone, many people see it the way I do because they tried it

Unable to update my debit card due to 6…

Unable to update my debit card due to 6 week old transaction not clearing.
On line support not responding.
Kept on hold for 30 minutes before i gave up trying to sort my account.
There is a major problem with this app and the organisation that run it.
Where are the call handlers?

Shockingly awful app.

Shockingly awful app.. can't update cards, blocks log ins and totally unreliable. Who designs these dreadful apps? . For a multi million pound company its truly awful management. Judging by the 1 star on Trust Pilot they don't care about resolving issues.

How many complaints do you get about…

How many complaints do you get about how vile the app is. I just played Euromillions then decided to go for lotto tonight (Wednesday) but the app is DELIBERATELY CONFUSING and designed to trap you into playing more than one line. I gave up . This is no accident and I want Camelot back.
UPDATE TUESDAY 9 JUNE 2026 8.08pm. Didn't realise the time as my cousin was paying a brief visit from Glasgow. Couldn't understand why the Euromillions log in couldn't be found. Of course it's closed now. However when Camelot operated it you could still see a message. Two things that has me BOILING WITH RAGE. I made a complaint and was told by the useless gambling commission that I had to complain directly to the company. In doing so I received what was obviously a standard reply full of absolute bull shit about expected glitches were temporary when they know that the app is disgusting.
Secondly I attempted to buy my Euromililions ticket a few nights ago but again I was not offered the site to purchase my ticket. Had I been able to I would now have it. This never happened before. FURIOUS doesn't express how angry I am.
UPDATE 15 JUNE 2026/5.50pm. Logged into the hideous Allwyn app to buy my Euromillions ticket for tomorrow night. As in last weeks fiasco I couldn't find Euromillions so thought I would try on the Tuesday. I ended up missing the closing time. I have the following games offered. Tonight's Set For Life (I never play) Scrolling down I have Instant Win Games followed by this Wednesday's New Lotto. I'm then offered to SET LIMITS followed by 10 further games 5 of which are advertised as new. The art work looks trashy that you would expect in a casino. A message follows about how much players have raised this week. THERE IS NO OPTION TO PURCHASE A EUROMILLIONS TICKET FOR TOMORROW NIGHT.
Now I stand corrected. I can only describe them as DECEITFUL. The Euromillions ticket is only visible under the heading MORE DRAW GAMES where an arrow allows you to scroll sideways. I am not a mind reader and it was all so much more straightforward under Camelot. Why was this dreadful company given the contract?

Beg Richard Branson to take it on or go…

Beg Richard Branson to take it on or go back to how it was before it was taken over by Allwyn.
Their latest stupid idea is to give us two chances of winning with one ticket, but they've made it £10 for three numbers, not £30, completely stupid. I've missed three draws since the national lottery started, I'm leaving it now and will do the Euro millions instead. If they want to give more chances of winning, remove a number

The changes to the online lottery site…

The changes to the online lottery site are dreadful. I used to be playing the lotto mostly every week, however, now I find it difficult to understand. The tickets are listed by purchase date and each purchase has to be opened to find out what date they refer to. It's so easy to buy a ticket twice for the same date when I've wanted different dates. It's just confusing. The old online app was much better than this. I believe the government should take Allwyn to account for user dissatisfaction and make them put it right or give it back to the original operators.

I've seen the new lottery

I've seen the new lottery, coming out in June, it's made to lose us money and they gain more, gone from 3 numbers for a £30 win, to 3 numbers for a £10 win, it's hard enough to win as it is, don't think I'll be playing again.

Appalling website. Always malfunctioning

I am sick and tired of the Lottery website malfunctioning. Allwyn is completely useless. The website is a nightmare and really hard to navigate. It is run by a Czech millionaire. Please please let Camelot run it again. Another error up by this incompetent Government. Trustpilot would not allow me to use the word I chose
