Criminal company - To add to my review below
To add to my review below. I have lodged a case with the County Court on behalf of my father and was issued a Judgement for Claimant for £843.95. The Judgement letter was returned as undelivered, 'Claimant gone away'. I have taken further advice and been told that any further legal action will result in high expense with little chance of a satisfactory outcome. I would advise that this company, with no forwarding address are deliberately stealing money.
Fraudulent company.
Scammers beware!!!
This disgusting company, scammed my partners elderly grandparents of over 600 pound, the documentation sent in the post seemed legit until they brought it round to us as they've been struggling to get in touch with them due to there oven breaking and needing someone to come and fix this. It was on reading the documents we realised that something was not right and the number was dead. We immediately called the bank and cancelled the direct debit as they had set two up of two different amounts to come out, and the elderly grandparents were not aware how bad this company was as the letters the received stated they had 4.7 stars which is clearly a lie as soon as you put them in google! we are going through citizens advice and fraud line. absolute scum of the earth, they should be ashamed of themselves!
I was Scammed by National Home Cover
I was contacted informed they recognised the difficulties people like my self were facing and were offerring a discount on insurance on my machine with 3 monthly installments I also recollect paying with my card over the phone with one innitial payment she was insistent that they had made an error offerring it so low having checked with person there whilst I was on the phone so if I did not pay direct over the phone using my card then she could not help me further with that same offer. I made the mistake of paying it and they proceeeded to take out direct debit payments each month last year I also have had fraudlent transations on top so my details were changed though my account and sort remain the same.I only discovered when I could never get an answer every day I called and later found a new website for the company I left messages on the site just as it suggested customer needed to I also contacted the number which upon finally getting through to a real person they hung up! Not just once did they do it but 3 times. I need to claim Non provision of service . I have since heard that your company if your reading this which I doubt has gone into adminstration .... I am broke and could really do with some compassion a non provision of service refund what with this and off gem switching me to british gas it is becoming
a case of eat or heat.

Avoid this scam organisation
As many below state, do not deal with this so called company. They basically scam elderly people out of 100s of pounds for cover they do not need. My elderly mother was defrauded of £795 and of course any attempt to speak to them gets no response. Their cover is worthless. Beyond disgusting - 1 star is too generous.
Scam !!!
Scam !!!! Do not touch this company
Took £495 from my mother who has dementia
Now fighting to get the money back despite cancelling within 28 days back in august 21
Dozens of emails letter and not one reply
Once they have your money , they do not care
Avoid Avoid Avoid !!!!!!!
Unbelieveable
Unbelieveable. These people have so far this taken three payments from my elderly and vulnerable father in law who lost his wife a few years back. £195, £495 and £589. All for some cover for home appliances that he did not authorise. He remembers a call and he said he knew nothing about it and that he didn’t want the cover.
Absolutely disgraceful. Steer clear and don’t let them defraud your elderly relatives.
I have spoken with the firm and they say the first two payments were taken by a different firm and they are not responsible! But we might be getting back the last payment at least.

Don’t engage with these scammers
This company cold called my mother and persuaded her to hand over nearly £500 taking two payments on consecutive months by lying to her saying her cover has run out and manipulated her out of her pension money. On companies house the ‘company director’ is listed as a recruiter he is a low life and scum and shows assets of £25. Where is all the money Mark Abadi has stolen from vulnerable people gone!
Am contacting Watch Dog and Rip off Britain.
What goes around comes around scumbag Abadi.

Avoid - they prey on the vulnerable!
Scammed my 87 year old grandmother out of nearly £600 for supposedly insuring three items that are not of any value. The person calling LIED and claimed that my Nan already had a policy. Utter joke. Having looked into this company myself it is clear you do not provide a service and prey on vulnerable people and cold calling them. How do you sleep at night stealing money from innocent old age pensioners? Vile, vile, vile company. We are considering legal action and will be writing to Watchdog. I can only hope that you are met with the karma you deserve and I wish ill on you. Disgusting people.

AVOID! CLEAR SCAM!
My elderly grandmother just received a phone call from National home cover claiming they needed her bank account information to update her policy, she has never taken a policy out with this company, but being an elderly lady she was confused and gave them the account information! I phoned to query the call and they advised me to call back in 1 hour when the system is updated with her information. A clear scam, targeting vulnerable people. Hang up if you get a phone call. The number used to ring was 01273 004405 and the helpline given was 03338801762.

Fraudulent fake company
Fraudulent, thieving, scammers. I have answered the phone several times to their representative telling me my policy for insuring freezer,Sky TV box, washing machine, tv etc was up for renewal at a discounted premium of £199. The thing is I do not have any record of ever dealing with them. I have asked for a paper renewal form to be posted on to me so I can check it out. Surprisingly nothing ever comes. Stay clear of this fraudulant company.

Scam
Just had a hoax call purporting to be from them re renewal of a policy that I do not have. We are TPS registered. Hung up when I asked for a number, 1471 indicated 01273 004402.
In response to the reply, the calling number responds that it does not receive calls and nationalhomecover has not indicated a number on which I can call to confirm. I am TPS registered so should never need to ask anyone not to make marketing calls.

Scamming the Elderly
This company cold called my elderly mother with dementia and forced her to give her bank details, saying she had to pay £300 to insure her fridge. They rang back again half an hour later, asking for more information about her bank account, but luckily I was on the mobile and told her to put the phone down. When I phoned the call centre to challenge them, the woman I spoke to was vague and unprofessional. Suspect this is a scam setup.

Cold scam calling to elderly for coverage they do not want!
Multiple cold calls to my mother telling her she owed money for her appliances and she eventually gave them her bank details (she has dementia). I canceled the first direct debit with the bank and cannot get a response from this company by either of their contact methods enquiries at nationalhomecover.com or 03338 801762. A month later they setup the direct debit again and billed a second time. I canceled the second direct debit and still no response from this company. That's 500 pounds my mum cannot afford for coverage she did not want and I am unable to cancel and will continue to post to warn others. I am reporting to bank as fraud. Shameful!

Spam callers that never stop, bit like Terminator
Continually call me at least once a month, sometimes more, pestering me to buy their home appliance cover, they've been doing it for over two years now. I've said no thanks, ignored them, and even blocked their number numerous times - but they keep buying new phone numbers to do their spam calling.
So I've given up trying because just like the Terminator they will never, ever, stop. And they'll be back.
So I now chat rubbish to them instead, lead them down the garden path and keep their team busy for about 10-15 minutes at a time and am having a wonderful time wasting their calling budget. They keep coming back for more, so looking forward to my next call in a few days! Muppets.

An appalling, shameless company.
An appalling, shameless company cold calling and targeting elderly people under the guise of being representatives of Domestic and General home appliance insurance.
I would like to know where they got my 85 year old relatives personal information from.
A shocking breach of data protection. They certainly don't deserve even 1 star.
