Shipping issue
Similar to last year, the plants arrived somewhat damaged. This year was much better than last year, but there were still around 30 to 40 plants in my order that were damaged/won't make it.

I always love North Carolina Farm plants and their customer service. However, the last 2 times shipping has been an issue and part of the plants have been broken and tossed out of the trays.

Bad Shipping
Plugs were out of the tray and crushed against each other. Many of the plants I received were missing the entire top of the plant (it was loose in the box) or was smashed. Plugs had come out of the liner they were in. I’m assuming this was in regards to the individuals who handling the shipping portion, but all the boxes were labeled with “live plants” and arrows pointing up. Paying a freight fee and receiving dead/damaged plants is not okay.

Items arrived in great condition
This order was put on a delivery truck (Fedex or UPS) so items were NOT tossed around in the box. It always makes me happy when they come this way :)

I did not know package was sent, but that was my mistake.
Good Morning. Past orders I received emails on the order being batched, boxed, ready for shipment....etc. I did not realize the shipment was coming ground. I thought I paid for Second Day shipment. So my plugs arrived and sat outside all knight. It was around 20 degrees outside when I found them the next morning. I went back and read the invoice and it had a tracking number. My bad. Package received sometime Thursday night, Jan 22 2025.

I’ve been buying for years
I’ve been buying for years. Never had a problem except the shipping company delivered a box of plugs upside down and broke most of what was delivered. NC Farms replaced without question when I sent the pictures and email. Great service and beautiful plants.

Plants look great, shipping delays and canceled items
The plants look great, however the arrival was delayed two weeks and one of the trays that I ordered was unexpectedly canceled due to lack of availability, which was disappointing.

The following week it was held due to weather, which was unfortunate given the fact the week before was a holiday. What likely happened was the tray that was cancelled was ready for shipment Christmas week but because the order was held two weeks instead of just one, it got too tall or died. We are very sorry that was your first experience with ordering.
