AVOID

AVOID. I prepaid for a ticket in Cheltenem. When I arrived it was one in one out and I waited 20 mins to get in. There is nowhere to state you have prepaid at ticket machine, so I had to get a ticket. There was nobody on site to talk too and get it sorted and there was no way to show I had pre paid at payment meter. There was another couple next to me, who had the same experience. So I had to repay. I sent an email to them about it and I have had no response.

Awful experience trying to pay 2 PCN

Awful experience trying to pay 2 PCN, one of which had passed the 14 day discount period cost. After hanging on the phone for over 1hr 10 mins(being 38 in the queue) the assistant did allow me to pay the £60 as I had been on holiday for most of the month, but she couldn't take the payment so I ended up having to do the automated telephone payment twice. The whole thing was a shambles! Never using an NCP again. My son kindly got me the tickets as he didn't realise you had to pay after 6pm, but he obviously didn't check. Lesson learnt the hard way!!

Helpful Staff in call Centre

I just lost my ticket in Bristol Broadmeadow and used the help facility and cannot fault them.
Someone called Alex helped me, called me back on my phone when I could not hear and was all round very helpful. Top marks Alex !!

Atrocious website and app

Atrocious website and app.

Trying to book a central London car park. Hopeless confusion between website, app and multiple options that are unclear and fight each other. Despite my having NCP account. Hopeless search. Shockingly poor.

Useless NCP

Tried parking nr Adam St Cardiff. Machine wouldn’t take card payment. Eventually downloaded their App but then stuck in continuous loop of registering credit card, getting security code, then being asked all over again for credit card. Gave up the App and just paid double the fee to park (could not drive out at this stage as ANPR would have charged me). Crowd of other car owners also failing to pay. Dreadful experience - I’ll avoid NCP in future

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I suspect a scam! I came onto Trustpilot to warn people about my recent experience with NCP online booking system only to find lots of other people have been treated the same! NCP are sending fines to people (in my case they were demanding I pay £100’s!!) for parking even though I had booked and paid via their app. I had to appeal and send proof of payment. I too am raging at the way I’ve been treated. No apology once they realised the mistake was theirs! Like another reviewer said, they even have the audacity to close the letter with the following statement:-“Please ensure you take into account the terms and conditions of parking, to ensure you do not receive any further Parking Charge Notices”. I did nothing wrong! It was their mistake, or are they doing this on purpose in the hope that some people don’t have the time to appeal and just pay…?

NCP Incompetent and arrogant

NCP are a bad joke! If it was possible to leave no stars, I would! We booked online, then 3 weeks later get a parking fine, showing our vehicle parked in the correct car park, on the correct date, within the correct times!
Appealed, sent evidence, then get a letter saying that the fine had been cancelled, no apology whatsoever for stress, inconvenience and wasting our time, oh no, and even worse , as other people have mentioned here, this last paragraph of their very rude letter says
' please ensure that you take account of the terms and conditions of Parking to ensure no further parking tickets are issued'.
What a bloody cheek! Why don't they do their very simple job of opening their eyes to check booking references, etc? Completely incompetent and arrogant!

Used the flight path Manchester in the…

Used the flight path Manchester in the past a few times with no problems - went this year now they park your car for you and there’s a longer wait for a bigger bus to take you - As didn’t realise it had changed we left a few pound in the middle of the car and when we returned it was gone ! Complained and they said it was our fault for leaving it in the car - so basically if you want the staff to go through your car and get away with being thieves book this car park ! Won’t ever use again!

Load of rubbish

This car park stated that it closed at 21:00 assuming that meant no more entry for parking after that time, ended up being locked outside the car park with car still inside, in which were my house keys and medication and upon calling customer service I was swiftly told that there was nothing they could do about it and was told I could re enter at 6:00am the next morning! Absolutely diabolical doubt I’ll ever park there again in my lifetime!

NCP Pre bookable - warning, don't use!

Do not use! I pre-booked and pre-paid parking at London Brewer Street Car Park for 48 hours at a cost of £120. Imagine my dismay to receive a Parking Charge Notice following a "breach of car park T&C's re parking without payment". I had to challenge the fine and include evidence/confirmation of booking, which I did. Letter received 3 days later stating "... your appeal has been reviewed and considered in conjunction with evidence gathered by our automatic number plate recognition cameras ... this notice has been cancelled. Please ensure you take into account T&C's of parking to ensure no further PCN's are received!". DISGUSTING. How about an apology? I will never use this company again.

Don’t use!

Don’t use. It doesn’t work. Meant to receive discount if I used the app. Didn’t give me the discount. Ended up paying £6.90 instead of £4.95. Deleted the app. Also they have my card details. Will have to reopen app to remove card. Rubbish. Won’t be using or recommending.
