Impossible to return poorly made Nefes loafers
I wear a size 6, reliably a size 6 in Birkies, Lems, Uggs, everything. I ordered the loafers from Nefes in a size 6. There was no tracking number sent but they arrived in a reasonable time.
The shoes did not fit. My toe hit the very end of the shoe at the front but they were very loose in the back. The sides splayed out as well and it was impossible to keep them on my feet.
The real one star is for the 'customer service' when I tried to return them. Okan Bayram asked that I take pictures of my feet in the shoes. Then he asked that I measure my feet. Over the course of six days of emails he resisted a return over and over and ultimately offered to return half of the cost which I accepted because I despaired of a return, should that ever be possible which I doubted, ever being acknowledged and I would thus lose the entire $129.
I should have googled the rep of the store first but the site is professional looking and I slipped up. I have subsequently googled the company and found many similar tales of poor customer service on reddit, one comment being they were told to donate the shoes. TrustPilot does not allow links but the other reviews are an easy google, Nefes shoes reddit.
The refund was sent the next day. I will donate the shoes.
