Once again, NetBet are referring me to IBAS for a responsible gambling complaint. I am going to make this very simple for you, since you appear unable — or unwilling — to understand the point being made.
Here is what IBAS themselves state on their own website, under "What IBAS Does Not Cover" (ibas-uk.com):
"We do not consider claims by consumers that they have been allowed to gamble excessively/irresponsibly, unless there is a contractual element to the dispute."
That is a direct quote from the IBAS website. Not my opinion. Not an interpretation. Their own words.
My complaint is precisely about being allowed to gamble excessively and irresponsibly — which means IBAS, by their own admission, cannot and will not handle it. The correct body is the UK Gambling Commission, to whom this matter has already been referred.
NetBet has now referred me to IBAS on multiple occasions for a complaint that IBAS explicitly states falls outside their remit. This raises a serious question: are your staff genuinely unaware of the scope of your own ADR provider, or are you deliberately misdirecting customers to avoid accountability?
What makes this even more staggering is that NetBet has been fined multiple times by the UK Gambling Commission — £748,000 in 2020 and a further £650,000 in 2025 — on both occasions for social responsibility and responsible gambling failures. These are not minor administrative oversights. These are serious regulatory sanctions handed down by the very body that actually governs complaints like mine.
So let me ask you directly, NetBet: you have been repeatedly fined by the Gambling Commission for responsible gambling breaches, yet you are providing customers with incorrect information about where to escalate responsible gambling complaints — why?
A company with your regulatory history should be bending over backwards to handle these complaints correctly. Instead, you are pointing vulnerable customers in the wrong direction, time and time again.

I needed help recently regarding finding something in my account so I used the online help. At first, I had the chat bot, but it quickly established that I needed a human and was put through to a real person who I believe was called Nick.
I had to wait a few minutes until they could read through my query. However, it was dealt with very quickly and I received good advice.
Thank you to Nick. Highly recommended.
