Illegal refusal of valid withdrawal - o2 ignoring § 355 BGB

I am writing this to warn other consumers about the deceptive practices of o2 (Telefónica Germany).

I revoked my DSL contract within the legal 14-day window on Jan 5th, 2026. Despite having written proof of this email sent before their own deadline of Jan 6th, o2 continues to ignore the law.

Their support staff (specifically Mr. Heilenmann and G. Radymski) have repeatedly claimed that a withdrawal MUST be done through the broker (Check24). This is legally false under § 355 BGB, which states a consumer can revoke directly with the contract partner.

Even after providing a registered mail tracking number (RT287880093DE) and their own letter from Jan 7th acknowledging my request, they continue to attempt unauthorized debits from my account.

I have now filed an official complaint with the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) under case number 2026-02-11-0091.

Prospective customers: Beware. o2 will try to trap you in a "loop" between them and the broker to prevent you from exercising your legal rights. I will continue to reverse every unauthorized charge they attempt.

Worst phone company ever

Worst phone company iv ever had. Customer experience/value is s#it, they're one and only goal is to bleed you dry of money whilst providing virtually nothing in return.

The personnel who work in O2 Shop…

The personnel who work in O2 Shop Hauptbahnhof Berlin Are not Professional evry They give information and later in your Bank Account you found Order think, i have a very Bad experience with them in 24 of The month my Tele has bin broken and I go to the shop activite my card sim they at the first time 29’99 euro to activate my SIM card, and I buy new phone with internet SIM card, the person who is there tald to do the activation for 50 euro for one time and after because I am client since more than one year they will reduce the amount that I pay (42) old amount that I pay every for my SIM card und my soon SIM card and he told me that this amount after paying 50 euro of activation will be reduced to 38.5 and calculate that I will big reduction during the year than I accept wath he propose, 10 days later in the 6 of fabrery I receive an amount how is different I go to the shop and the person was there, he said I never said wath you explain, such as is not the first time and I am not the first person,

Be very careful to contract the…

Be very careful to contract the Internet with Telefonica. The invoices arrive incorrect. You will always pay more. The internet crashes a lot and after numerous calls, they will never fix it. And the worst thing, impossible to change to another company despite all the failures

I cancelled my contract in July 2021 after realising is was impossible to get in contact with if there is a problem. Terrible app. And if you do by a miracle get through to customer service, they hang up on you. It's just bad all round. Also bad reception. What was worse is that they sent me another bill after my contract ended and I had to ring up and ask why. I was told I have two contracts with Blau, and only the second one was cancelled. In 2018, Blau took over the original service provider that I had signed up to in 2016 - and took over my account. Apparently though, a new account was set up, but did not replace the old account #6031924163 - so now find out I have been unknowingly paying two contracts since 2018. And the customer service operator sounded rather pleased to tell me that I would have of course been informed of it - said like I was an idiot. Terrible service today through Blau number 0800 666 38 36, 30.11.21 at 19:30. It just again justified my decision to leave. And to think I once liked the branding, but it's just a disappointment.

Pathetic service I wanted to cancel my…

Pathetic service I wanted to cancel my contract. One person on call told me to write letter for contract cancellation and send it to this address. The address he told me does not exist. Its unbelievable and was not expecting company like O2. They are playing tactics so therefore people exceed the time limit of contract cancellation and we charge them for whole next year. They can easily cancel the contract on phone but they make you write letter just to exceed time limit of contract.
