Had an urgent problem with hot water system for an elderly relative. Called 1st Call and David came the same day, he made a temporary fix to get things up and running and then returned a couple of days later with replacement parts to make it permenant.

My boiler decided to break over a bank holiday weekend. 1st Call came out to do an initial inspection despite it being a bank holiday and was able to show me all of the problems I had with my old boiler of 20 years... David and his team quoted for a new boiler with no pressure. Within 2 days, I had a new boiler installed and the job was carried out quickly, professionally, and at a price that was affordable. Extremely impressed and would highly recommend. A huge thank you to the team!

1st call are probably the most professional and friendly company I have ever come across of late. We had our boiler break down on Boxing day which coincided with the start of the cold spell! David was out to see us pretty much straight away and got a quote to us the next day, we had our new boiler fitted on New Years day! thank you David for coming out during the festive season and looking after us. We committed to contracting 1st Call Services to fit our new Bosch boiler after speaking to the proprietor, David to discuss options. Our preference was always to support a local company and we were reassured by David’s knowledge and openness in terms of outlining options - this is always reassuring as one doesn’t get the sense that one is hearing a ‘hard sell’ for one particular product. We settled on a Worcester 32CDI and the quote we received was competitive and in line with others secured. Ultimately, our decision to go with 1st Call Services was predicated on trusting David to deliver on his commitment. He did this by arriving on time, fitting the boiler in a very professional manner (some piping required rerooting etc.), and remaining courteous throughout. He also ensured that the area where the boiler was fitted remained tidy and as he had found it prior to fitting. He was supported on the day by a company apprentice whose customer service skills were exemplary. In summary, I’d have no hesitation in recommending David and 1st Call Services.

David diagnosed my boiler problem on the phone and it was a quick fix when he arrived. He also checked the settings and confirmed the warranty status with Worcester Bosch. I was very relieved by straightforward professional and honest behaviour after a different H&P Engineer had tried to sell me an unnecessary replacement for a perfectly good boiler when only a cheap fix was needed.

If you want a pain free boiler install, 1st Call Services are the company for you. I was very happy with the boiler installation provided by Scott and Denny of 1st Call Services. From survey to install, the service was top notch. The guys arrived promptly in the morning, explained what they were going to do and got to work. Work was completed to a high standard. Denny explained clearly what work had been done and gave me a full explanation of the features of the new boiler. David, the owner, is very helpful.

Simply brilliant, from making the first enquiry to having a new boiler in place was less than a week.

The engineers who fitted it were great, polite, tidy, knowledgeable, and helpful.

David’s team are very professional, very polite, very honest, there are no hidden charges - the price quoted was the price paid. David has completed a few different jobs for us in the past at previous properties and so we were very confident that he would do a great job with the removal of our old boiler and replace it with a new, more modern and efficient boiler that was suited to our household. Once again, he hasn’t let us down and we are very pleased with the work. The team arrived promptly, were very friendly, demonstrated everything and cleaned up before they left.

David, Scott & Denny fitted a replacement boiler and 2 towel radiators. They arrived promptly and worked relentlessly to get all the work done in 1 day, despite having to resolve several unforeseen and time consuming issues - all at the originally quoted (competitive) price!
Even though the job took longer than planned, they still took the time to clean/tidy up.
Finally, good ‘aftersales’ support via phone, and return visit to address a few niggles.

Was recommended through the Worcester Bosch website to 1st Call Services as they are one of their recommended 'Platinum instlers' and how right they were. A pleasure to deal with, came out to survey as boiler needed to be relocated onto a different wall due to new regulations, I had done my homework on what boiler I wanted and was pleasantly surprised when the engineer (Scott) recommended the same model. David the owner contacted me that evening with a quotation which I gladly accepted (£400 cheaper than British Gas I hasten to add - and they only offer a 5 year 'warranty' where as you get a full 10 year 'guarantee' from a W-B installer!) on day of installation arrived promptly on time protective sheeting laid throughout the hallway, old boiler removed and new one installed. Radiators all checked as was the gas connections and relevant readings obtained. All boiler controls and functions explained as was the guarantee . Couldn't be happier and would recommend without hesitation.

We had our old boiler replace with a new Worcester Bosch combi boiler on the 19th of August. The job was carried out by Scott & Denny of 1st call services. They arrived early and carried out the job cleanly and efficiently. They were very friendly and explained all the controls when the job was completed. Have had very good service from 1st Call over the last few years. They service our boiler annually, the team are friendly, professional and a pleasure to have in your home. A pity I wasn’t aware of the company when we had our boiler installed. Today I had a CH problem & David talked me through it over the phone. Would have no hesitation in recommending 1st Call.
