I have ordered a cake from New Cakes every year for my grandson 's birthday and every year they excel themselves. The last two years they even managed to create a perfect cake to my own specifications. I will definitely continue to order from them in the future.

I was nervous as the cake was being shipped to us in London! But I needn't have been, it arrived bang on time, presented beautifully and tasted fabulous 2 days later on my twins birthday. I have been ordering from New Cakes for few years and my boys always love the special cakes. Service is quick and communication is great. Cakes are always delicious. Will be using again in October for younger ones birthday.

They have been incredible very supportive and very accommodating, I gave them two days notice and they produced the goods in less than 48hrs I have it at my home address the design and taste is out this world can’t recommend enough

I purchased a rowing cake for my son's 18th.
The cake arrived on the correct day but was damaged (oars and one arm had fallen off). Thankfully, we were able to mend it ourselves with sugar syrup.
The cake was not personalised as requested e.g. wrong colour outfit (why ask how you would like it personalised and then not do that).
The two candles (a 1 and an 8) were different brands and sizes so we had to replace these.
I emailed New Cakes and received a response saying they would look into this. Despite chasing, there was no further response.
The cake tasted fine, but the overall experience was poor, particularly given the cost.
would not recommend.

Ordered the Nike Trainer cake and it was both made with precision and tasted nice too. Next day delivery. Arrived before 10.30.

I had a cake ordered for a birthday, but the birthday girl has fallen ill, so petty was cancelled. At super short notice I asked if it could be delivered on a later date. The team told me that the cake was made but they would donate it to charity and make me a new one free of charge for being a valuable customer! Truly did not expect that. I have bought cakes for years and will continue to do so as they are the best cakes ever!!! Wonderful backing and hugely talented decorators! BUY A CAKE!!!

Booked a horse themed cake very last minute and couldn’t have been more happy with the results. They were able to include my requests like long hair on the model and delivered the cake on time the following morning - very well packaged and presented. The birthday girl was very pleased and the cake was centre stage on her social media updates from the day.

Was very disappointed. When cake arrived was so scarce with everything. Only 14 flowers on the top instead of the 24 pictured and no where near the amount of leaves. There was no flavouring in the buttercream which we paid extra for. Luckily paid via PayPal who awarded us a full refund. There was no way to speak to anyone even though there was a phone number which nobody answered, no email reply and no person on the chat box. Hence no way of returning or getting a replacement. Because of this we ended up spending more money to make the cake look reasonably suitable. I would encourage anyone to use PayPal with what seems to be a conveyor belt company. It’s a shame trustpilot does not have the facility to upload pictures. :(

We wondered was it worth the risk. It was not. Cake arrived ok, but looked nothing like the picture. Very disappointing. Was supposed to be an arm lifting a weight and instead just looks like a giant smudge. No reply from customer support! Have tried calling and emailing but no response. Will not use again.

My mum ordered a cake for an anniversary. It came and didn't look like the pictures. There was no were near as many flowers around the edge, the sides had messy blobs of icing instead nice decorative icing shown in the picture and it came really damaged. I had to go to my mums and spend a couple of hours fixing the cake with flowers, icing and embellishments bought from hobby craft and the supermarket.
Very disappointing, ended up getting a refund via PayPal luckily as send pictures of what it was meant to look like and how it came.

Have used this business for years for my children's cakes. I would not go anywhere else! The cakes are amazing and so are the staff. They listen to what you would like and always do their utmost best to achieve it. Cannot rate them highly enough. I would always recommend New Cakes if you want something special.

I ordered a dinosaur cake for my grandson's 3rd birthday, it was so realistic that he thought it was a toy and didn't want anyone to eat it! However when he finally agreed for us to cut it he couldn't get enough cake, it was delicious! Thank you Shay and team for your amazing service and your high speed dash down the M4 to Cardiff. Would use again and feel I can recommend with confidence
