Newchip 

NewChip Accelerator provided us no support and failed to deliver the most basic promises it promoted at the time of enrollment. We were to be assigned a mentor, at the meeting of the mentor he told us how he was no longer a mentor with NewChip and could not support us, New Chip management stated a new mentor would be assigned, however none was. We were to be introduced to investors, we were never introduced to a single investor. We went through teh material on our own, and met with the groups, but could never complete the mentoring sessions as we did not have a mentor. We had to present at the demo day to "graduate" in order for them to maintain their metrics, but no resolution on any of the issues we were experiencing were resolved. We were purportedly provided with free services but we couldn't use them when we completed our time in the accelerator. They took the money but provided no service.

Newchip is a professionally run operation. You get out of an accelerator program what you put into it and Newchip offers top tier support and tools. Looking forward to continuing the journey.

Complete program. It is awesome to start learning from scratch.

They are not respecting their contract on the possiblity to extand the program with a additionnal fees and tried to resell us a complete program at 'special fee'. No to be trusted.
Art 7 - Program Extension. If the Member does not graduate within the Program Period or does not reach the investor relations portion of the program within 120 days of starting the program, the Member will be considered for late graduation and will be referred to as a Delayed Member (“Delayed Member”)

The program provides good information across the realm of raising capital and setting up a start-up. The material was developed before Covid, so it may be a bit dated as the investment world has changed significantly. Our materials benefited from the engagement and are more concise. We are just in the early stages of reaching out to investors, and that hasn't been as fruitful yet as I had hoped, but it is still early.

Horribly disorganized. The content is great. The people running the programs, not so much.

Love the support system that NewChip has put in place to help us prepare for and complete our fundraising.
Really an all encompassing approach to everything that we need as a startup to succeed.

NewChip established a perfect process to be ready for investors.
After 4 weeks of hard work they honor our progress and accepted our Lion´s Den 2 weeks later. And now we are 1 week before. So, we will see how we perform.
And will report how the investor´s matching will be.

The online course is just great. It has helped us organize ideas, gained knowledge, and not feel overwhelmed by what is coming next.

Our assigned mentor is great. We truly believe NewChip understood what we need and who was the right person to be assigned.

Another sham of a company, You should stay away, they are very nonchalant and don't respond their inbox

Most Dishonest Accelerator Company I have worked with.

This is not an accelerator company for a startup as they do not keep to their words.

Refunds not given, services delivered not promised, introductions are a joke and they will treat your emails with no response and disregard after the program.

Btw, not one person did I know of from my cohort that was invested in as a result of this.

I STILL RETAIN MY OPNION, EXPECIALLY FOR STARTUPS OUT THERE WITH NO PROPER GUIDIANCE. STAY AWAY FROM NEWCHIP IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE CHIPPED OUT.

BTW, our last log was not Dec 13th, I left you a couple of emails asking for a resolution but till today, I have got no response from you. The last log was on the 16th February.

I doubt if any member of my cohort raised funds, or was refunded. They will provide you materials to read on your own and a curriculum like a remote school but there will be no investors with this guys. You will only be indirectly investing with them. The only good thing I could make out of the program is realising one more thing I did bad, wasting money, wasting time and not getting anything out of it. What a waste.

I should have followed on the advice of former cohort and also the reviews.

Nothing was learnt from this cohort, it was a waste of my time and money.

They didn’t not refund my money and after cohort they never responded to me again till today.

They wont respect the contract and they wont give a damn once they have taken your money and the cohort is finished. Liars all of them. I am not sure how such a company like this is allowed to operate legally.

If you are a startup, STAY AWAY FROM NEWCHIP. They won’t help you.

Not built for Indian founders. I was personally disappointed with the lack of cultural context about India that goes into growing and scaling a business.

As a Startup, I applied for the New Chip Accelerator program, but, I was pre-revenue. However, New Chip contacted me about their first ever New Chip Incubator for pre-revenue companies, and I jumped at the chance. I researched them, and was so impressed and excited to be in that program. The Incubator did not disappoint ! Every week there were learning modules that I could use and act on, with weekly Mastermind sessions to discuss integration of their dynamic business advice into my business. Every week the Guest Lecturer was awesome, and the pitch practice and feedback was fantastic. Their Mentor program was great as well, and I was able to expand my network with professionals to help and advise. Through this course, I have met key individuals that I can now access for strategic growth of my company, and this has expanded my horizons exponentially. I look forward to applying to the New Chip Accelerator, with more skills and confidence that my startup will soon be a profitable business.

100% online Accelerator is a great option for us. The Accelerator is focusing heavily on investment raising, which is perfect in our situation.

Simply put... It's worth it and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Longer review:
No one knows what they don't know. Newchip continues to teach me a good part of that. Being an entrepreneur or worse, a solopreneur is a daunting task regardless of the circumstances. There are so many things to think about, beyond just money, albeit that's extremely important and you will most likely need that at some point. Newchip is not a bank, Newchip is not your co-founder and Newchip is not going to make your business viable for you.

Newchip is a mentor, a network of like-minded individuals that are reliable, a catalyst to get you going, a teacher, an observer with a valued opinion, a ladder you need to climb to get higher, a wall to bounce ideas off and they are one part of the puzzle to becoming a successful entrepreneur. They have been there, done that and want to help.

Could you do it without Newchip or another accelerator? Maybe.

Does Newchip provide value? Absolutely.

Will you have to work, and work hard? Yes, and if you don't, then that's on you.

Will you get out of it what you put into it? Yes.

My experience has been exceptional, and I do not feel like I am one of the lucky few. I came in with a good amount of knowledge, but there is always something that can be learned, was not thought through, or wasn't done, and Newchip provides that pressure testing. That "pressure testing" will strengthen your idea, and your market understanding, it will improve your pitch, your deck, data room, etc., and lead you on a path to success.

Newchip is an investment in yourself that will pay dividends over and over. I'd recommend the platform and this accelerator to anyone that gets in.

The Newchip programme has been very good helping us understand investors, and with our Newchip mentor who has Founder experience we feel in a short time we have come a long way towards being investor ready.

Awesome group of facilitators! They have helped us to improve our pitch in many ways. The mastermind sessions have been very helpful as well.

As an entrepreneur who recently participated in an accelerator program, I can honestly say that I was initially hesitant about getting involved. However, after being accepted and going through the onboarding process, I quickly realized that this was a high-quality program with a lot to offer.

One of the things that impressed me most about the accelerator was their amazing onboarding process. The training materials were incredibly well-structured and the teams were highly trained, which made the entire experience both informative and enjoyable. I felt like I was able to learn a lot and really improve my business acumen during my time in the program.
