My husband and I moved into a new build house whilst both working full time. Having the team come in and inspect the house gave us the peace of mind that we needed that we were safe in our new home, especially with a little one on the way! It saved us lots of time trying to attempt this ourselves whilst working and going by the list we were sent back we definitely would have missed most snags ourselves. It was worth every penny. Stefan was also very approachable, and happy to hear about anything we had noticed ourselves first.

We were initially sceptical about booking a snagger, as the developer advised they were simply “money makers”. Because of this, we followed the Instagram account to better understand what they actually look for and we’re so glad we did.

We decided to go ahead with a pre-completion report and it was money very well spent. Around 80% of the snags identified are things we would never have noticed ourselves. Having a professional report has given us confidence and evidence to push the developer to complete the required actions highlighted by New Home Quality Control.

From booking through to receiving the report, the process was straightforward and efficient, and any queries we had were always responded to promptly.

After buying our first new build and lots of advice, we decided to look for a 5* snagging company. After lots of research New Home Quality Control was by far the most recommended. Due to being so popular, there was limited availability but Orlando assured us he would do the inspection himself to ensure it was completed when we needed it done. Orlando drove over four hours to get to us, kept us updated throughout the whole process and was fantastic. He explained everything he would be doing and was extremely thorough. He even worked well around our anxious dog and my husband working from home! We had already reported snags we had seen ourselves but Orlando found snags that we never would have even noted or found. Snags were even picked up inside the loft, behind radiators and on the roof. Exactly 100 snags were found and will now be rectified thanks to the thorough job by Orlando. Going with this company was worth every single penny and we would highly recommend this company to anyone considering having their home inspected.

Helen was very thorough during her visit for our post-completion snagging. She took her time to evaluate both external and internal snags, taking photos along the way. We were very impressed by the final report and she spotted so many things that we would not know to look for.

The surveyor was friendly & professional. He checked the whole house in detail and followed up with a very detailed and easy to read report. This was great as I could then run through it with the building manager to get the various snags resolved.

He found out most of the minor issues (scratches, paint drips) and luckily no Major Issue found in my house. And he listed all minor Issue in the report with a photos to show where they locate.

I felt that the inspection was worth of the cost also as agreed the report was delivered within the promised timeframe.

New Build Quality Control (NBQC) delivers an exceptionally professional service that I would strongly endorse to anyone purchasing a new home. Engaging a snagging company is, in my opinion, essential, and I cannot commend NBQC highly enough for the outstanding job they do.

Their flexibility was particularly impressive when the house builders altered the move-in date; NBQC were extremely accommodating.

On the day of the inspection, NBQC's representative, Johnny, arrived promptly and was notably personable and approachable. It was immediately clear that his priority was not only to represent NBQC but also to advocate on our behalf, ensuring our interests were at the forefront throughout.

It was reassuring to have a company genuinely committed to safeguarding our investment, which for most is the most significant expenditure we will ever make. While the site manager was helpful, his obligations ultimately lie with the house builder, and any concerns raised stem from his oversight.

Following the initial handover conversation, I was uneasy when the site representative informed us that we had only seven days to highlight any issues and that we should consider which problems we could “Live with”; this, to me, suggested a reluctance to fully address potential defects. Ideally, the need for a snagging company would not exist, but reality has proven quite different.

Johnny conducted a thorough inspection, identifying 70 separate items, including leaks, dents, scratches, damages, misalignments, and poor workmanship. The resulting report was exemplary: professionally formatted, clear, and ready to present to the site manager immediately. It contained comprehensive photographic evidence and referenced the relevant NHBC quality standards for each item, ensuring expectations were transparent and justified.

In summary, NBQC provided a thorough and flexible service, identifying numerous issues and delivering a clear, professional report that made it easy to address all concerns with the builder.

Joe was really helpful and polite throughout the appointment. He explained the report to us, and advised that we got the seals on our bath checked before Christmas.

The entire team at New Home Quality Control were amazing from start to finish. Getting my inspection booked in way so easy and fit in with my needs. On the day, Will was great. He called beforehand to keep me informed of his ETA and arrived as advised. Super friendly and was always on hand to explain every step being taken to ensure my needs were looked after. After, the report came through within a couple of days and was everything I needed. Absolutely fantastic service all around and really can't recommend them enough.

I have been watching videos of New home Quality Control for a number of years so was already a big fan, we finally had the opportunity to buy a new build, I was already won over but the added value and peace of mind to use such an independent snagging building expertise is priceless, the price you pay is defiantly worth the investment, and a must have for any new build, highly reccomended.

We had a home snagging inspection carried out by Orlando and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the service. He was extremely thorough with the inspection.
