I found next excellent compared to other sites I have ordered from ,only recently I ordered and the delivery was given to the wrong house not their mistake but they refunded me immediately ,the item actually was given to me then by a neighbour and when I told them they said I could keep it as a gift,Also they return the money onto your card promptly , I have always had a difficult orders dealt with really well
Extremely bad customer service
I am still in shock about how AWFUL next direct service is, I advise not to use them. I ordered and paid for a pair of All Saints boots 2.5 weeks ago which were supposed to have been delivered after 4 days. They never arrived. Then they said there was a delay and they were working to get me the item as soon as possible, offering me false hope that I would receive it. Then they gave me no updates on when the item would arrive after this. I had to chase them down myself by phone and email (they didn't respond to my initial email) and they said because it was a sales item, it could take between 14-21 days – this was never communicated when I purchased the order assuring me the order would arrive in 3/4 days. They gave me no updates, I had to keep chasing, etc. Then low and behold today, they say the product is not available, a product which I had my heart set on and as I assumed would be delivered to me, I refrained from searching on other sites to order. They left it 2.5 weeks and took my money and I have no product. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with their service. I highly advise not to use them as they don't seem to care about their customers. I can't purchase this item anymore from other sites as it is no longer available. I am extremely upset.
Do not order furniture!
Paid around €2000 for a bed and mattress, was given a delivery date of 2 weeks from the order.
The day came and went with no delivery, contacted Next and they said that for Irish orders the delivery date isn't the delivery date, it will be within around 3 working days of the day they said it would be delivered (this isn't mentioned in their confirmation emails or on the phone or anything), they also said our order is with a 3rd party courier but they had no idea who had our order or when it will be delivered.
Fast forward a few days and we get a text from DHL saying they would be delivering our order.
Delivery driver pulls up and says he hasn't brought the mattress because it was ripped and stained and he didn't want to get the blame for it so he refused to transport it and for the bed frame, one of the three pieces was missing, so we only have 2/3 of the bed frame and can't even put that up.
What the hell is going on with this company, I don't understand how it can be so difficult to sell a bed and then deliver it? Never again.

Terrible company to deal with ‘lost’ my delivery twice reordered it spent 2 days waiting for the furniture and it never arrived. Every time I rang they had another excuse. It was lost, it wasn’t lost, it was going to be delivered it’s it not going to be delivered. I would not advise anyone to deal with them again, so frustrating and annoying. Ten phone calls later and still none the wiser.

I placed a very large order and a week later still waiting; emails stating one parcel sent to a different store would be received within 48 hours another email today 2 parcels redirected to a different store would receive them within 5 days and then received an email stating that because the items were onsale that's why they're late none of the items were on sale all full price I was given a date for September 23rd the latest only saw this after paying for my order now its going to be later again totally unacceptable tracking is another problem defenatley would not reccomend and won't be ordering again.
Unreliable
I ordered some dresses on Tuesday which I needed for Friday night. They were meant to be delivered by Friday morning at the latest. Its now sunday and they haven't arrived. I received an email to say there is a delay, need to wait another 5 days for parcel. Unreliable service so I will never shop with them again.
Disappointed!!
I have been a customer for over 25 years. Due to a couple of recent online purchases that were not suitable and therefore returned, I have been black-marked as a customer with “high” returns. The items were not available in my local store so goodness knows how I was supposed to try them. When I explained the issue to customer service they offered no apology or showed understanding. My account is now well and truly closed! There are plenty of other excellent clothes stores I will now spend my money with. Goodbye and good riddance Next. Shame you have slipped so low!!
Why is NEXT online so bad now?
I have been having deliveries from Next over a decade in the beginning it was pro dominantly because of the ease to order and get your items quickly - in most cases next day. Last 12 months the service is just shockingly bad - lost parcels, damaged parcels, late parcels , missing items, incorrect items delivered, delivered to wrong address and expected to locate it by a doorstep photo and worst of all evri drivers that steal other parcels meant for Royal Mail with no label on it as R/Mail bring label so it was obvious it’s not for them - the list goes on and on. It’s so bad I can’t remember the last time I got an order on time or without an issue. It’s appalling- constantly chasing customer service to put issues right. Sort it out NEXT use a delivery service that actually delivers!!!
Outrageous
Ordered a console table that was meant to be delivered 2 weeks ago. Never turned up. Email after email to Next without resolution. Finally decided to cancel order by phone call to costumer service. The next day email arrives that the order was delivered even though I never received it. Called again, had to fill in a form that I didn’t receive it in order to get refund. Did that. Next day delivery guy shows up with damaged box asking if I want to accept delivery!! Absolutely not, and now Next is refusing to refund!
The are outrageous, feels like a scam.

Keeps going from BAD to worse
Keeps going from BAD to worse. Continual delivery delays, issues contacting customer service…..overall a highly disappointing experience.
The first rug we bought was faulty, the second rug had the label according to our order but was a smaller size and the third order hasn’t arrived and the delivery date keeps being delayed usually by 6 weeks but NOW 22 weeks.
It’s a nightmare !!

Amazing Online Customer Service
I returned an item and I didn’t get a refund. It was my fault I forgot to contact about it. I did recently and I was very well looked after. My advice - DO NOT EMAIL. You’ll get nowhere, use the WhatsApp number and u are contacted fast. I got all the appropriate emails even after I received my refund. The reason why I didn’t get my refund at first was due to a technical error and they do happen. My refund came sooner than stated. This also happens with their in-store collections. A very happy customer!

Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service with very little accountability for their constant errors. I will never order from them again. 4 months ago i was told that 1 order will arrive for collection on 3 separate dates, i called in store to pick up but they had not arrived despite getting text & email stating they had & can you believe it the exact same thing happened a week later, they "lost it" and i had to pay another 10e because of their mistake to re order same items again & did not get refunded for this. I ordered 6 items 8 days ago and am still waiting for 4 items that were meant to arrive on the 11th July. Never again.
