Avoid using this company!!!!
They took lots of my money upfront for a start up design and website and bleed me of cash throughout the process and in the end delivered very little, they now wont return my e-mails and the project i had with them has now vanished.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY. Read the reviews here. Obviously ‘Natalie Portman’ is not working with this “business”. They have swindled thousands of dollars from a family member of mine who was attempting to start an online business. He’s not received any goods paid for or the online services he has paid for. Numerous calls and emails requiring updates and support from Next Logo Designs and nothing. Steer clear, they are absolute frauds. We are in the process of reporting my them to the appropriate authorities.

Be careful with this company. They are all dodgy people: Denis, Jake, Chris, Steven (and Mary and Ben, they dont care either).
I have had several paid services to this company. All payments made upfront. But i did not get the services that were paid for:
1. Website $550, website content $550, Hosting $500 - paid in Jul. Completed in Dec. is a complete write off based on opinions for 4 other independent web designers.
2. Logo Copyright $463 - paid in July20 - now Mar21 - still not receive the digital certificate of the logo copyright.
3. I got told to increase the website speed, i need to pay $500 for the bandwidth. So i'd paid for it. My website now is still very slow. I raised the issue and got told to pay another $300. which i decided not worth it cos Jake wouldnt tell me the software they were going to install except that it is a software their company produce and sell to customers. since i dont know if it would do the job or not, i decided not to pay.
4. I couldnt get the bank to dispute and get the refund for some of the unreceived services, reason was because they promised they were working on these. By that time, it was over 3mths and the bank wouldnt take on the dispute.
5. I followed Small Business Development Corp, to try and resolve the issue with the company. I'd let them know that i wanted to resolve this and if they didnt cooperate i would take the matter to Small Business Dispute centre - the result - they didnt respond but went and deleted all the email correspondences i'd ever had with them. So there is no evidence there was ever a contact.
6. They charged me GST when the company isnt registered for GST. When i pointed this out, the company agreed to refund my money, but they wouldnt refund the money but by merchandise. I accepted the T-shirts. They showed me they were working on the design. But i never received the items.

My overall experience and opinion:
- the whole company is full of dodgy people
- they take the money, not provide the services
- i'd ended up paying alot more than i initially thought by the time i got my website
- the website turned out to be a write off
- I'd wasted alot of money through their services

STAY CLEAR OF THESE GUYS!
They are complete scammers. If you are reading this review, it's probably too late and you are in the same situation that most of us are in. If you are in the process of handing them over your payment, then JUST DON'T!

I paid them to make a logo. When it was time to receive my logo design files I was told I had to pay for "Copy Right" fees and that it was a "legal" standard practice. Their 100% Ownership of design statement is very misleading. So technically they held my logo files for ransom. If I didn't pay them the "Copy Right" fees I was not going to get my logo files.

In the end I was not happy and wanted to cancel their services and requested a full refund instead. They quickly forwarded my logo files instead. Funny how standard practice doesn't apply when you want a refund instead. Unfortunately the files with my logo designs were absolutely useless because it wasn't the final edited version. I decided not fight and just walk away and lose my money.

I did some digging and found a lot of interesting things about these scammers and their misleading website statements but in the end, it wasn't worth my time and effort. Hopefully you read this post and just stay clear of these scammers.

This company is a fraud. They will scam you out of your money. Will use different Australian names such a chris jones, dennis jonhson, richard, ryan and so on... but is probably just 1 or 2 Indian guys, making it sound like its a big company. No abn given, no address or a proper contact.

OMG!!!..I'm completely devastated now... they stole from me more than $2,500 nzd last June 2020 and of course they told me they were going to create my website and stationary... I'm still waiting and I cannot stop crying as the money was my saving and investment... since 4 months ago they keep on telling me that they were going to contact me... 😭😭😭... of course they never did and every time I try to contact them they put me on hold or they just hung up as they know my numbers and they know I live in New Zealand... I cannot stop crying and it's unbelievable that they can get away with all of this...

Stay well clear of this crowd, they are absolute frauds and have no manners what so ever. They charged me for a logo package of which I was supposed to receive letterheads and business cards and I received none. They also charged me $1200 for a trademark and have given me no paperwork to prove I have one and will not reply to any of my emails. I searched the Australian Database for the trademark and it hasn't even been registered. Please please stay away, I wish I had read the reviews before dealing with them.

I saw the advertisement and read others reviews so i chose Next Logo Designs to do my Logo design.

My experiences with them:
1. The Logo - my very first dealing with them (Chris) - it was good. I was happy with the logo.
2. When the logo completed Mid July
A. I got persuaded (more like a push) to let them do my website - persuaded me at 5pm on Fri, not allowing me time to think over the weekend by saying "this offer ends today". I'd changed my mind and contacted Chris the next Monday to cancel the website agreement and asked for my refund. I made the request many times but got ignored so I felt I had to move along or lost my already paid upfront money

B. I got told to pay for the logo copyright (15/7). and I did. It would take 28 days. As at today 11 Jan 2021, i still haven't received my logo copyright doc. Many requests, enquiries and even demanded refunds over the last 5mths got ignored. I got told "the doc is no use to us. We will pass it to you once we'd received it".

3. Since I got stuck with them with the website and I needed it's contents to be professional. I'd paid them the Website content fee cos they offerred this service. Turns out, I'd done half the work if not more. They just copy and pasted the info I'd supplied to them onto the website, without even checking or changing a word. I have evidences of this.

4. I paid for 5yrs Hosting services. All I received that show on the invoice was "Hosting". I requested the invoice to state the 5yrs (from and to), they wouldnt change the invoice. The accounts Department wouldn't either. They ignored my request. The only time they immediately did amended the invoice (a few mths later) was when i told them i wont pay for the Website content invoice cos they still haven't revised the Hosting invoice for me.

5. When the website was almost complete, I got told to pay money to migrate from their source to the one I'd selected as my domain.
I believe this cost could have been avoided had .

6. At the beginning I had asked them to state if there were any other additional charges I might have and their answer was "no. There won't be any further charges". Then I got told to pay for the widthband increase and the website migration.

7. They verbally quoted me the price inclusive of GST but they are not GST registered. Also their invoice doesn't show GST. I have evidence of emails they would refund me the GST but I'd never received the refund. It got converted to a merchandise which I will never receive. (I cancelled my credit card cos they had saved the detail).

There were several occasions I'd been threatened both via the phone and via email, mainly they won't work on my website "put you on the black list so no company would work for you" or would do "a crappy job" unless I'd paid all the fees upfront but i had already paid these. I had already paid upfront and in full for the website, hosting, copyright, logo. It was the website content that I'd only paid half, I withheld $250 awaited for them to show their commitment to finishing the website and I want to see it before making the payment. In the end, I had no choice but to pay them before my website was complete cos the risk was too high - i could loose all my money if i didnt get the website.

My experiences were stressful, frustrated, angry and it carried on since the day I began the website work with them mid July and is currently still ongoing cos I haven't got my copyright document and they make no effort to refund.
The experience also ended up costing me 3-4 times more than the quoted price due to unlinformed costs and services.

I have dealt with 5 people in the company, some from different depts. Nice people and professional in written and verbal communication and but poor work ethics and unprofessional underneath all due to money!.
My advice - avoid dealing with Next Logo Designs!!!!

I made an initial enquiry from a website called Australianlogodesigns.com.au and was convinced to get their "Infinite package" for $199. I was then sent over to deal with Next Logo designs. This all seemed strange but now makes sense because of how they rip you off. After this a pile of unprofessional and ordinary logos came through most of which had the wrong wording for my business name (which is only three words). I had to give my brief no less than half a dozen times. I explained that I wasn't happy and this went on for some time back and forwards. Eventually I asked for a refund because they had a money back guarantee advertised on their website but they told me that I wasn't able to get one. I have now had to initiate legal action and am following a process including Fair Trading and then possibly court. I would steer well clear at all costs

Working with Next Logo Design was seriously one of the most frustrating experiences of my life! I can't see how they are a scam as they did a lot of work, but man was it hard to get what we wanted. We have exchanged 60 odd emails, and many phone conversations, all in a bid to get minor changes made. We would literally ask for something to be done, in very clear and basic English, and something completely different would turn up.
In the end they wouldn't give us all the file types they had promised unless we paid another $350 for copyright costs.

With explainer videos by Next Logo Designs, I had a chance to explain what my business had to offer in a better way. I find it way more flexible than writing longer texts on the website to gain the audience’s attention.

I had to design my own logo on word after spending an hour and a half on the phone describing it in great detail. They sent me colors and ideas of theirs that had nothing to do with anything I had requested. Then I had to draw arrows to exactly what I needed to look metallic. I got so frustrated I rang the “manager” Chris Jones. Who if you see his name pop up. Ask for anyone else. He is disgraceful, disrespectful and has no listening skills. I then took a break from the process because he was so incoherent and when I returned to start fresh he told me I had to pay another $130 (after I had already paid $129 to begin with) to then reactivate my account as it was inactive for over 2 weeks. When I asked why had he not emailed or called saying that there was a deadline or an extra charge, he said he had and there was no answer which was a blatant lie as he had never left a message and I had never received a miss call. Honestly I lost my head with him as he kept interrupting me when I was talking and asking questions and when I asked to speak to someone else he told me there was no one higher then him. I couldn’t believe if this is the leadership that’s at next logo I can only imagine what the rest of the staff either deal with or are also like. I would never recommend this company to anyone and again stay well clear if you see a Chris jones pop up as your “project manager” as your logo will not meet your expectations nor will you perhaps even receive it without paying the extra fees. They took the money and ran. Horrible experience. I would rather support Zazzle at least there the designers have manners, integrity a d imagination.

I needed a logo design for my webpage, next logo was able to deliver a great logo and also did a new website for me that was very mobile responsive and very easy to use for my purposes. Chris jones guided me through the whole process of development which was not familiar to me. Im very satisfied with the end result.

Their real company name is CRAFTIVE DESIGNING PTY LTD - ABN38631420856, ACN - ACN 631420856. Find it by doing a DNS WHOIS search on their website domain, then complain directly to the office of fair trading using the 'OFT Complaint form'. Make sure it's New South Wales OFT.

-$199 logo design
-Refusal to hand over logo unless I agreed to pay for copyright of $400 + GST (total $440 for copyright) even though company is not registered for GST
-A follow-up call to send the "paperwork" then a request for another $300+ dollars to go through the "Next Stage"
- Told that my disagreement with their practices would be forwarded to their 'legal department' and that I would be contacted within 1-2 days.

Update:

The comment below from the company is the only time since my complaint that I have received a reply in writing from them. I never did receive that call from their 'legal department'.

I did not dispute the $199 fee. However, they have to date refused to provide a refund for the $440 "copyright". The invoice for service simply states "Copyright" with no description whatsoever and no ABN - I have to date received no written confirmation or paperwork to justify what this money has gone towards. I was offered "Services to the value of" instead of a refund, only after mediation with the government department. This was despite being charged for a service that was not tangibly provided. Therefore, the OFT has contacted the company for a detailed breakdown of services to justify the $440 being charged without providing a service. My next step is small claims court, which I am in the process of organising. The logo itself though, to be fair, was definitely worth the $199. Very happy with that. My issue is with the deceptive business practice of withholding the logo until additional fees are paid for non-specified services, not quoting an ABN, charging GST without registration, trading without a registered business name, not displaying the actual company name and avoiding written communication.

Update 6/11/2020:

After complaining to the NSW Office of Fair Trading about not receiving confirmation of copyright, I received the following information:

"Your concerns were brought to the attention of Mr Chris Jones of Next Logo Designs. Mr Jones advised the additional fee for the copyright had been agreed to and the document will be provided in due course. Mr Jones advised to show his good intent, he is prepared to offer any additional services for free, like printing or designing."

I have requested the copyright paperwork or a refund of $440. I have received neither. My email requesting details regarding timeline for delivery and content of said 'paperwork' has been ignored.

I have refused to accept "free" services as I only want the "copyright" I have paid for, or a refund. I paid for the service on 7/7/2020.

NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal is next.

Update 26/11/2020:

Legal action has commenced. I highly recommend doing the same.

I can’t express how happy I am with my logo design! Dennis and the team really exceeded my expectations. They delivered such amazing logo designs! I was reluctant at first because of the previous reviews but Dennis spoke to me and made me feel much more comfortable and I can say for myself he’s a man of his word! Real professional! Easy to communicate with! Would definitely recommended Dennis and his team!

At 1st I was sceptical of using an online site and handing over my details to someone I didn't know, I was more than impressed with the quality and amount of Logos Dennis Johnson from Next Logo's provided me. I chose my Logo and ask for a minor change which was done and I couldn't be happier with the result. Dennis is easy to talk to and I appreciate all the work that he has done for me. Had Chris Jones as my account manager to update logos and stationary. Extremely Happy with his work, can do attitude and delivery. Chris’s logos and stationary designs were exceptional and met the exact criteria we were looking for. Ask for Chris and you can’t go wrong.
