Getting my HGV licence was a big moment for me, and Nigel honestly made the whole journey so much easier. He was patient, supportive, and always explained things in a way that actually made sense. Whenever I struggled, he encouraged me and helped me build real confidence. By the time I went into the test, I felt fully prepared. I’m genuinely grateful for everything he did, and I’d happily recommend him to anyone.

Nigel is a great instructor, he demands high standards and knows how to get his students up to standard. Nigel is thorough as well as patient with a brilliant attitude and manner. I couldn’t recommend him more highly

Did my CE cat with Nigel and he was brilliant at what he does.
Passed my test from the second attempt as I got a picky examiner at my first, but Nigel’s teaching and mentoring skills was at the top and helped me to smash it at my second attempt only with a few minor mistakes.
I have learned at lot from him and thankful for his help.
Will definitely recommend him for somebody who wants to learn driving LGV.

I went for my lgv course and passed first time with Nigel. Nigel is a great instructor very calm makes you feel comfortable I never thought I’d pass but I did all down to ngt training school. To take more pressure of yourself is you can do your reverse test at the training school with Nigel. So thank you very much Nigel keep up the good work many thanks Christian oh and I’d like to say a thank you to Tim who also helped me pass.

Worked around my busy schedule with no problems, I had a good experience with Nigel he taught me what I need to know to go out in the HGV world, as I had experience beforehand in driving larger vehicles he did more real world driving, like motorways and lorry parks etc, rather than being completely focused on the exam prep which I think will serve me well in the future.

A massive thanks to Nigel for his excellent tuition, Passed my Class 1 at the first attempt. Nigel has been a great tutor, his knowledge and how he delivers the guidance has been the difference between pass and fail. Clear constructive advice due to his vast experience teaching clients and getting them through what is a daunting task. I would recommend NGT to anyone who wants to learn to drive HGV's Top man and a top trainer. 5☆'s

I have just recently passed my C1 with NGT and my experience has been amazing to say the least!

Nigel is amazing a what he does and the way he teaches, having never driven anything bigger than a van I was abit sceptical at the start but absolutely thrilled to pass with only 2 faults

I had my class one driving with Nigel and he made me feel at ease and made experience really positive. Would definitely recommend him to anyone, as I’d never driven a class one before and passed first time.

Passed my HGV class1 on first test. Nigel is very good instructor. He deals with patience and politeness. I had gone with training company before coming to Nigel. They messed up a-lot never had test done and they keep delaying for weeks and weeks. But with Nigel cleared my license in couple of weeks. Highly recommended

I recently passed my class 2 with Nigel. Great instructor very patient and experienced in what he does. The cheapest I found and the location is very convinient . I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to start a career as a lorry driver!!!

Can’t think of a better instructor then Nigel he has the patience and experience to teach everyone, all tho he might seem a bit grumpy :)) occasionally he is a good man with a big heart God bless him …. Recently passed my C1 Practical and CPC with NGT and Nigel couldn’t have been any better, the whole experience as a whole was incredible. I came in with no experience of driving anything bigger than a hatchback within minutes I’m driving around the industrial estate in a rigid then straight into an artic.
He will tell you exactly where you made a mistake and tell you exactly what to look for when positioning the lorry.
He will go over multiple test routes and find out exactly where you need to be to become confident driving these machines.
I myself at the end of the course thought I’m not ready for the test just yet but he was reassuring and was more than confident for the both of us and low and behold I’m now fully qualified.

Nigel at NGT Training was fantastic. He was patient yet assertive. He knew what I was capable of and encouraged me to reach my full potential. Through his training and guidance I passed my CAT CE on and off road tests and CPC module 4 first time. I would recommend him to anyone who wishes to drive the big guns!
