Really good online shopping experience. Initially I used the on screen ‘chat’ before making my purchase. Neville was very prompt and helpful. I received an email confirming the date and expected time of delivery (which was very helpful). Unfortunately one of the many items I ordered was damaged but following my email to inform them, in which I included a photo of the damage, the item was promptly replaced. I shall definitely shop online again at No.96 in the future.

This is a gem of a shop and a real treat in Newbury. The owner and all staff are invested in their products and always happy to chat. I bought a wonderful new baby gift and card this week and the prices were really reasonable. Each time I visit there is something new to see. It really is an asset to the town.

This is the best gift shop in the area. all the staff are lovely and so helpful. would definitely recommend !!

Wonderful shop the owner and staff always give 110% customer service nothing is to much trouble. Great ideas for birthday and Christmas shopping.

I am not very impressed with the owner of this shops customer service skills. She works here & definitely requires extra training. Her manners towards the general public are atrocious. I have just witnessed her coming out of the shop screaming & shouting at a busker. She very abruptly demanded that he moved away from outside the shop because she couldn’t hear her own music. Her manner was very intimidating & to be honest I found this very upsetting to watch. The busker meant no harm & immediately packed up his equipment leaving him with no where else to earn his living. Very unprofessional & obviously not the best way to encourage custom. I for one no longer feel confident to shop in this store.

I am a huge lover of this shop; they stock a wide variety of gifts and homeware with a regular rotation of stock. It has a very friendly atmosphere, the staff always welcome my dog as well as finding time to chat to their customers. It is a rare treat to find independent traders on the high street and I am so pleased we are lucky enough to have No96 in Newbury.

Fabulous local independent shop full of interesting and beautiful things. The staff are really lovely and took the time to help me find the perfect gift. So many beautiful things I also treated myself. Will definitely be back
