Our Komp device is a fantastically designed product and so easy to use
Our Komp device is absolutely great and just what we, as a family needed. I had researched other devices with varying costs but I went for this one as it was extremely low tech for my mum. Although mum has switched it off twice, it's so straightforward for me to give instructions for her to switch it back on.
We also wanted a device that only received incoming calls and seemed to have good customer service. We haven't been disappointed on any level. It really was extremely easy to set up and any queries have been answered the same or next day.
Yes it might be considered a little on the expensive side but a price well worth paying for a fantastic device from a technology point of few and my mum is particularly pleased with it and tells all her friends. The app is very intuitive and also easy to use to call and set up photos.

Life changing. My 94 year father lives alone in Spain. He has been an excellent health until the last six months when he’s had a little bit of a decline. He is technologically horrible. Getting the Komp in his house was super easy and connecting with him is just the touch of a button. I can tell how happy he is to see us on camera. He is socializing with us, even though we live far away from him. And ordering from.Komp was super easy and Nina in customer service was incredibly helpful. Wish I had known about this years ago.

Noisolation are making a truly unique product. The benefits for our (two) families who use Komp, are immeasurable. We have had two in use, for several years. We can call the komp from anywhere, send photos and messages, appointment reminders, and talk with care-givers whilst they are there. There is a premium level for extra features should you wish, but the functionality is just great for how we use it. The main benefit for us is that the person with the komp monitor does not need to be tech savvy in any way. Don't think of this platform as a social media feed or platform, this is not it's purpose. It's a tool for personal interaction and mindful involvement with your loved ones in day to day life, whether you live nearby or far away from them. Our interactions with the company have been professional, friendly and super helpful. Thank you.

Excellant customer service and the Komp facilities were so welcomed . my mother was in a care home and this made such a difference to her wellbeing .
As well as allowing us to chat to her at any time the Sending of photos and messages allowed her to have lovely discussions with all the carers .

I bought the Komp Device for my mother, who is elderly and not familiar with technology. It turned out to be very simple to use, with a large clear screen and one-button video calls. I have been using a Komp now for approximately 1 year and it is a lifeline for my 95-year-old mother who is also blind with Dementia. She fumbles trying to answer a normal phone, so with the Komp being hands-free, I don't have to worry about her cutting me off when she tries to answer or failing to hang up correctly. Our family has used the Komp to keep in contact with my 91 year old mother in her care home for the last 6 years. It has served as an excellent digital photo frame being larger than most and easily updatable remotely. The video call feature has been invaluable particularly during the pandemic and when illness has prevented me visiting. The customer service has been prompt and efficient on the rare occasions that there have been technical glitches but the machine been very reliable and my mother could not praise it highly enough. The staff at her care home have recommended it to other clients.

A Lifeline for My Mother
The Komp does what it describes and the after service was great. It meant we could communicate with my bedbound mother in her own home and then a care home without having to involve carers.
The ability to share photos instantly enabled us to.bring the world into her room and I think it opened her horizons just a bit in the last years of her life. As her cognition faded the photo facility also provided a great talking point on visits. Thank you Komp.

Invaluable tool for combatting loneliness
Such a valuable tool for communicating with loved ones remotely. The Komp is a lifeline for us. So easy to set up and use for everyone. The screen is great quality and nice and large so the elderly can see really clearly family members and chat with them as if they were in in the room. In my opinion, of all the tools on the market for increasing the quality of life of the elderly, particularly those living alone, this rates highest.

Having been delighted with this product, I have tried repeatedly since January to seek help with no response. Our mother became ill and subsequently died and we need to return our product. I keep receiving invoices and automated responses to my emails but no actual response. I have resorted to leaving this review in the hope of some communication

‘Komping Grandpa’
This is probably the best purchase I have ever made!
To Komp or Komping Grandpa have become new family phrases! It takes less time than the previous phone calls and yet gives a much better experience. It is has become part of our lives, without much thought - we Komp in the way that we WhatsApp/Facetime/text etc
The Komp fits so well with the grandchildren as well and they keep a much closer relationship, compared with phone calling. Our boys happily Komped their grandpa pretty regularly when away at university and have continued now that they are working.
Bought for my father in law during Covid which enabled us to maintain good communication with him and his Carers- we live 500 miles away. Komp calls are more like Komp visits, as for him, he enjoys the company in a way that we cannot replicate with a phone call.
He has mild to moderate Alzheimer’s and the Komp has the ability to ‘mask’ this, whereas the telephone ‘exposed’ it. He loves the photographs we put on and they have been a great conversation opener for anyone to speak more to ‘the person’ rather than just the person with Alzheimer’s. He particularly likes the messages and we discovered that he was better able to retain information rolling round on the Komp all day, than if it was written on paper and so much better than verbal information. He moved into a Care Home last year and the first thing he asked to take with him was his Komp.
His grandchildren now go walking in the hills and are able to Komp him from the top of mountains which they all love!
When we initially bought it, we were advised to do the initial set up elsewhere, so that we were confident when setting it up in his home. He was not best pleased at first and just kept saying he couldn’t work a ‘computer’. We had already loaded some photographs of him climbing his beloved mountains and when it started, he smiled and instantly started talking about that particular mountain. It has never occurred to him that he doesn’t have to answer it and just accepts us appearing on screen-we did have to alert him to the sound of the 10 second countdown, so that he knew a call was coming in. His eyes immediately go to the screen when he hears the sound of a photograph or message coming up. I control the time it is on and when it goes to sleep, so it does not need turned off overnight. Now that he is in a Care Home, we are able to maintain the same family connection that we had before and it has been so reassuring for him and us.
The Komp team are so helpful and supportive either online or by telephone. They are so enthusiastic and really look to give you the best support and advice. It initially felt like an expensive experiment, but you get a few weeks to decide if it is going to be suitable. It truly is the best purchase I have ever made that actually does what it says and has given a better outcome than we could ever have hoped for. Brilliant 🤩

Try a different platform!
I constantly get a message (weeks now) saying no connection and to re-login. It makes no difference if i do. This is an important app for my grandma to keep an in touch with people overseas (i live in Australia) and my family around the UK and it's not cheap for her, please sort it out! I can't also video call via my phone i can see her but she can't see me, when it runs fine via ipad. Ive checked all the settings. Very frustrating!
