There is such a delay in people getting back to you , also if you have to get in touch with the person who is dealing with your case they take up to 3/4 weeks to get back to you . I use to call everyday to find out where my Pescription was when I finally got through after being on hold for over an hour only to have to wait another week or 2 for a return call/email and when I got medicated i run out then have to wait 2/3 week with no Pescription then have to wait another week for them to be delivered.
Very unhappy and concerned for my treatment that I had to jump through hoops to get .

The clinician that dealt with my assessment really had the time to listen fully too me. The turn around time from recieving my NHS RTC referral to the assessment was so quick. The emails were clear and understandable. Clear lines of communication. Overall very happy with all the service I received.i would highly recommend them.
Very quick wait time from referral to assessment and a thorough, professional experience at the appointment. Communications are all very prompt and easy.
Awful. Literally never answer the phones and trying to get any support via email is virtually impossible. Noone seems to know what they're doing and just acknowledge complaints without doing anything .
10 months on and still nothing.
Note the stock reply below - fails to mention that Care ADHD revenue grew from £1.9 million in its first year to £37.1 million.

The lady I spoke to made me feel less anxious about describing my struggles. The way the questions were asked and structured were helpful and guided which is very much necessary for someone like myself with an awful memory and a busy head! Care UK in general were efficient in the entire process, right from the initial referral. Thankyou :)
My experience at careadhd has been excellent, the treatment has changed my life for the better. The processes are clear and well explained. I have regular reviews with a clinician which are timely, effective and reliable. It is an easy system to navigate and I always have the same clinician for reviews, Imran. I would highly recommend the service.
X3 emails (including one sent on their own website) over a 2 week period with no reply, currently on hold to get a medication review it’s been 61mins. It’s not good enough. They are funded by the NHS but dont have effective communication to arrange appointments.
Joke a company

Always replied to my emails got Mr a assessment quick and the staff ate helpful even my assessment made me comfortable
I’m disappointed in my most recent experience with Care ADHD. They emailed me saying I needed a medication review and wouldn’t be able to order more meds until this was completed. This left me without any medication for an extended period of time. Then when I had the review call, I was told the person conducting the call can’t change my prescription, so I’d need another call with a doctor for that purpose. What a waste of time!! I already said on the forms I’d filled in prior to the call that I wasn’t happy with my current medication. What’s the point of a medicine review call if the person conducting the call doesn’t have the authority to change a prescription?! I then had to wait several weeks and chase Care ADHD to get the follow up call booked, which meant even more time without medication. It seems like they expect people they’ve diagnosed with ADHD to behave as if they don’t have ADHD

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my diagnostic, was very thorough with questions.
I was referred to Care ADHD in February 2026 and received my ADHD diagnosis in early March. Initially, I was really happy with the service and the waiting time for diagnosis.
The main reason I chose Care ADHD was the advertised waiting time for titration on both their website and the official Right to Choose website. At the time of my referral, the waiting time for titration was advertised as just four weeks. However, it is now October 2026, and I still haven’t had my titration appointment. I submitted all my titration forms just days after receiving my diagnosis letter in March, so I have been waiting months longer than expected.
I have contacted Care ADHD countless times by email and telephone to explain how the uncertainty, delays and inconsistent information are affecting my wellbeing. Despite repeatedly raising my concerns, I have not received the clarity or reassurance I would expect from a healthcare provider.
During this prolonged wait, I have started therapy and begun the process of coming off my existing medication so that I can start ADHD medication under the care of my Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). Unfortunately, due to the ongoing delays, it now looks as though I may be left without medication before I even receive my titration appointment, which is exactly the situation I was hoping to avoid.
I have explained my circumstances and the impact this is having on me to Care ADHD on multiple occasions. However, I feel my concerns have not been taken seriously. Each time I contact them, I seem to receive different explanations or information, leaving me frustrated, confused and no closer to knowing when I will receive the treatment I was referred for.
I understand that waiting lists can change, but patients deserve honest communication, accurate information and compassion, particularly when delays are affecting their mental health and treatment plans.
My initial experience was positive, but the experience since diagnosis has been extremely disappointing. I chose Care ADHD through Right to Choose based on the advertised waiting times, and I now regret that decision.
Based on my personal experience, I would advise others to research their options carefully before choosing this provider. Right to Choose is an important opportunity, and I feel let down by a service that initially appeared to be the right choice for me.

Worst service every. Diagnosed a year ago almost and haven’t heard a thing about medication or any helpful advice!!! Steer clear of this service unless you’re willing to wait a very long time. It’s actually medical negligence IMO

Amazing experience with care adhd. I felt so anxious and nervous but the assessor really put me at ease and explained any questions I didn’t really understand. I couldn’t have asked for a better assessor and an experience.
Overall I am really satisfied with the service I received. Once the referral was received from my GP I received the online forms to complete. From acknowledgement of my forms I received an appointment really quickly. The clinician I spoke to was great and put me at ease made me feel comfortable throughout. My only area for improvement is that for some reason once my forms were complete the next step didn’t happen for a while, I contacted 3 times over the period of 6 weeks with no response until the third time but then everything moved extremely quickly again after that. That was my only frustration but the rest of my experience was really positive.
