Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 103 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported being charged for subscriptions they did not authorize, often after an initial low-cost payment for a test or report. These unauthorized charges, typically around £39.95 or $39.95, appeared on their bank or PayPal accounts, leading many to believe they were victims of deceptive practices. Reviewers frequently mentioned that the subscription terms were not clearly disclosed during the initial purchase, if at all, making the subsequent charges a surprise. Customers also found it difficult to cancel these subscriptions or obtain refunds, with some noting that the company's website was inaccessible or provided no clear way to manage their accounts. However, some people mentioned that after contacting support or disputing charges through PayPal or their banks, they were able to receive refunds for the unauthorized payments.

Free personality survey?

I took a personality survey advertised as free on May 5, 2026. After answering the questions, I found out that I needed to pay $1.95 to get the results. I did that, and it was unsatisfactory. In checking my account for something else, I discovered that they took $39.01 out of my account for my "subscription." I contacted them, and they were very helpful, and promised to refund the $39.01. Now we notice that they took $39.01 out of our account twice and refunded once.

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company. they start with a small bait of 1.95$ for a report and then start monthly charges of $39.95 until you notice and stop them. Beware of these M.F.s

Total fraud

Total fraud gets you to take a free test of 100+ questions then asks you to pay £1.99 for the results ( results are just gobbledegook_ and then weeks later takes £39.95 out of your bank. Absolutely no indication that you were signing up for anything by subscription

Why are PayPal and banks not putting out a warning when paying ?

I did a survey for ADHD that was supposed to be free but to get results u had to pay $1.95 so I bit the bullet & did it now they are charging me $39.95 for some kind of membership. I didn’t authorize this charge & I'm contacting PayPal. From the looks of the amount of ppl complaining here id say it has scam written all over it. I should have did a ck on this to see if it was legit or not but I didn’t & I didn’t know there was a membership fee involved till I looked at my PayPal acct.

SUBSCRIPTION SCAM

It's basically a subscription scam and most likely very illegal in the EU. The test results you get are super unspecific and look like AI generated garbage. I only pay 1,95€ at first for the garbage test results and there is no clear indication that you are about to start a subscription for ~40€ a month.

I did a 100 question survey and the report was non-specific generalized response. Not worth the $1.95 I was charged. The a week later I received a billing for a membership at $39.95 that I did not authorize. Paypal refunded the charge and I advised them that this is a scam site. From the bad reviews here it has been operating a while. Linked by Google search engine.

Scam company trial charge

I got charged the $39.95, and I sent an email to: support @ testlibrary.com immediately.

Dear Test Library Support,

I am writing to formally request an immediate refund of the $39.95 subscription charge that was applied to my account.

I initially agreed to pay $1.95 to complete a personality test. At no point was it made sufficiently clear that I was also enrolling in an ongoing subscription with an additional $39.95 charge. Had this been clearly disclosed, I would never have agreed to proceed.

This billing practice is misleading and unacceptable. I consider this an unauthorized charge and I am requesting that the full amount of $39.95 be refunded immediately.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be disputing the charge with my credit card provider and reporting the transaction as deceptive billing behaviour to the appropriate consumer protection authorities.

Please confirm in writing that:

My subscription has been cancelled immediately

No future charges will occur

The $39.95 refund has been processed

I expect a response within 48 hours.

Regards,

- I got an email response immediately and an automatic refund on my PayPal account.

Best of luck!

Paid 2 euro for an online quiz that was advertised as free only to ask me for payment after 100 questions. Then, a week later, my PayPal was charged for a 40 euro membership. Don't even have an account there or received any notification. A total scam.

These people are scammers

These people are scammers. I authorised $1.95AUD for an autism test result that was total AI garbage, then they've taken another $55.00AUD without authorisation. I've lodged a dispute with my bank as I cannot afford to lose that money.

SAME FOR ME!! SCAMMERS!!

SAME FOR ME! DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS! Paid £1.95 for an ADHD test, also had a message from PayPal saying I've authorised a £39.95 payment. weirdly on logging onto their site it says I was not subscribed so couldn't cancel via that, clever. I logged onto PayPal and clicked on manage payments from the transactions and cancelled any future payments then called them and PayPal have confirmed to me that no further payments will be taken from them PayPal have cancelled subscription from their side. I also emailed Nordicalab but not expecting a response. PayPal have opened up a dispute to get my money back and have confirmed that indeed it was not authorised (so they should pay me back) are investigating blocking them as a merchant - I directed them to see the comments on here. Sorry to who else experiences this it is unnecessarily stressful but do do as I've done via PayPal to sort it. Good luck.

Total scam artists

Total scam artists. Like most reviewers, I paid for a useless test and they are trying to fiddle £39.95 per month for an unauthorsed subscription. Have nothing to do with these filthy scammers.
