Really happy with this basket
Really happy with this basket — the scalloped edges give it a bit more character than a standard wicker basket, and it fits perfectly with the warm, minimal look I’m going for at home. Well made, nice weave, and looks even better in person. Would definitely buy from Nordic Peace again.

Ordered a utensil set back in April to gift to a friend. One piece in the set was damaged. They sent a replacement, but it was the wrong utensil. They sent a second replacement, again, of the wrong utensil. They sent a third replacement that is now just magically lost in the mail. Keep in mind all of this shipping takes weeks at a time. I was never able to gift the entire set and they refuse to provide a refund. This business is scammy af. Do not order from here.

Looking back at what happened, from a damaged ladle in April, to two replacements that were the wrong utensil, to a third that never arrived, this should not have taken three months, and it should not have been left to you to contact USPS on our behalf, twice.
We are processing a full refund for this order rather than attempting a fourth shipment. You should not have to wait any longer or track anything else down. If you do not see it reflected within 5 business days, please reach out to anna@nordicpeace.com with your order number and we will make sure it is resolved directly, no further steps required on your end.
I am also sorry this became your experience of us. We are fixing how our team handles situations like this so a shipping issue does not turn into months of back and forth for anyone else.
Disappointing Experience
I ordered 3 pairs of slippers because I thought they were super cute and couldn't decide. Shipping took a long time. The slippers are definitely cute but I'm not sure about the quality or how long they'll last. I was also disappointed that the company isn't more transparent. They push the idea that they are "family owned" but their products come from China and I feel like they almost try to cover it up. Tracking just leads to their website where it says it's shipping from the country of origin. I only found out it was coming from China because I googled the tracking number. I also posted basically this same review on their website on all 3 pairs that I purchased only to find that all 3 reviews were deleted a few days later. It seems they only keep the highly rated reviews and the lower rated reviews that still sound flattering.

You're right to flag the sourcing. A number of our pieces, including these slippers, do ship from overseas suppliers, including China. You shouldn't have had to track that down yourself. That's something we should be upfront about before you order, not something you have to dig for. We're working on making our shipping and sourcing information clearer site wide so it's obvious from the start, not a surprise partway through delivery.
I completely hear you on the note of the reviews disappearing, I'm not going to brush past that. We're looking into what happened with your three reviews specifically. If that was a mistake on our end, we want to correct it.
On the slippers themselves, if the quality doesn't hold up, we want to make that right too. Could you email us at anna@nordicpeace.com with your order number? I want someone to actually look at all three of these, not just note the complaint.

I could not be happier with the quality of the items and comfort of the shoes. Delivery was quick, I think about 5 business days.

Poor quality and poor customer service
I bought a pair of slippers as a gift. Within 4 weeks of use they began falling apart. These are terrible quality and I would not recommend buying from this company. To make matters worse when I raised with their customer service rather than offering a refund or replacement in accordance with Australian Consumer Law they instead suggested their policy would only allow them to offer a 50% discount on a new pair. Disappointing experience all round and I won’t ever be considering a purchase from them again.

Cute but not durable
I love these slippers, but this is my 2nd time buying them because they fully fell apart after 1 year: the rubber in the sole cracked and the insert fell out. Cute slippers but short life span!

I ordered a white fur throw as a gift for a young teenager. Delivery was very slow; the item finally arrived shrink wrapped & reduced to the size and weight of a brick. I unpacked it and found it to be of very poor quality, it was made in China not Canada as expected, it was completely wrinkled and creased, and had a dirty brown mark on it. I am waiting for instructions from the company in order to return it to obtain a refund ! Disgusted with the company and its customer service

Thank you for the honest review, and I'm sorry the throw reached you slowly and with a mark on it. That is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and I understand your disappointment.
I reached out to you personally by email last week and refunded your order in full, with nothing to return and no photos needed.
One thing worth mentioning is that the throw ships vacuum sealed to cut down on packaging and shipping impact, so it does arrive compact and flat before returning to full size and softness within a few minutes of unwrapping. On the rare occasion something does go wrong, as it did here, we would far rather refund quickly than put a customer through hoops.

The cream colour you ordered is the shade we sent, it simply carries a warm pink undertone that can read differently depending on the light and the screen it was viewed on. I understand it was not quite what you had pictured, and I reached out to you by email to put it right with a full refund and nothing to send back.

The product is absolute trash
Update: The customer service was phenomenal and did resolve my issue. They were very understanding and I appreciated the honest exchanges we had via email.
The product isn’t quality. I bought an entire set for a gift and I received it with the TAGS CUT OUT one piece literally has it done in such a shitty way I can see that it says XXL when I ordered a size large. No doubt in my mind it’s fast fashion and just resold. Will not buy again.

Bought two sets of cutlery that were absolutely trash. They were damaged and defective and quite clearly exactly the same ones you can buy on temu and Amazon for a quarter of the price. On looking at the pictures only half the pictures were of the actual item anyway the others are a different shape or perhaps ai. Absolutely morally bankrupt company trying to pass off cheap goods as something they're not. I have now received a full refund after refusing a replacement. Anyone reading this, check your consumer rights in your country and know what they are, they can't demand you return at your own cost if they supply poor quality or faulty goods. Stand your ground. They are chancers and playing on the current Scandinavian trends with their daft name. Avoid avoid avoid
Edit: after reading the reply they still lie, the pictures in the listing are clearly of two different sets, one premium one cheap. You can tell by the bends and handles so make of that what you will.

Thanks for the feedback, Cherryl. A few points worth clarifying for anyone reading.
When you flagged the condition of the pieces, we reviewed your photos, offered a replacement, and when you preferred a refund instead we processed it in full without asking you to return anything. That is how we handle faulty items, full stop.
On the product itself: our flatware is not a relabelled version of cheaper goods sold elsewhere, and the listing photos show the actual item. We hold our suppliers and our own standards to that, which is exactly why a batch that does not meet them gets made right.
We are sorry this set fell short of what we expect, and we have passed the quality and packaging notes to the relevant team.

My original order was delivered to a wrong address and after investigation, customer service had another pair of slippers sent to me. Process was a bit long, but the people I worked with were great.
