I just left the Normal shop at Kongensgade 33 in Esbjerg at 11:30. At the checkout, I noticed that two items had different prices from those displayed on the shelf, and I pointed it out to the cashier, who, with an unpleasant attitude, replied that the correct price was the one rung up at the till, with a truly inadequate and rude demeanor. There wasn’t even the slightest consideration, such as asking if I wanted to exchange the items or anything else. It’s clear that at Normal, you need to teach your staff manners and how to treat customers. This isn’t the first time. Such bad manners. What a shame.

My name is Vera de Oliveira, and I recently worked as a temporary employee in the Reworks department. I was dismissed without a clear explanation or constructive feedback, which I see as a missed opportunity for communication and improvement—for both the employee and the company.
I would like to share some observations and recommendations that I believe could benefit the work environment and management practices at NORMAL:
Suggestions for Improvement
1. Clear performance evaluation criteria: I recommend the use of objective indicators such as:
Collaboration and teamwork;
Technical skills and learning ability;
Professionalism and attitude;
Evaluation based on goals or competencies.
2. Handling of rumors and conflicts: Information should be verified before making important decisions, and all parties involved should have the opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings.
3. Feedback and opportunities for improvement: Employees should receive clear feedback and the chance to address any issues before dismissal decisions are made.
Additionally, I have noticed that the current performance evaluation system does not account for critical variables, such as product type or weight, which directly impact employee performance. Adjusting these criteria could result in a fairer assessment process.
Creating a motivating and equitable work environment is essential for employee well-being and company productivity. I hope these suggestions can contribute to NORMAL’s continued growth and success.

I've been to Normal Birkerod with my sister today, she wanted to return a product that wasn't corresponding to the label description (it was a heatless curler), we kindly asked them to return, explaining that we only discovered this fact after opening the plastic bag, and in the first moment they said that it couldn't be returned because it was opened (?). I asked to talk to the superior and then I had the unfortunate displeasure of being served by an UNHAPPY, UNPOLITE and RUDE girl, that firstly insisted at not returning the product and in the second time treated us like shit. She didn't even want to give us the receipt that my sister was being refunded, then after seeing her throwing the paper in the trash I asked for my sister's receipt and she gave us. Definitely a TERRIBLE customer service.

Sometimes the price on the price tag may not match the price at the checkout, but I managed to solve these issues and they sold me at the price that I saw on the price tag.

I bought a cleaning product from the outlet in Triangeln, and I found out that it leaked around 30 mins after I bought it. I brought it back and asked to switch the bottle but the cashier said that since I took it out of the shop. It is my fault that it leaks and she can’t exchange the product. I didn’t press the matter further but it’s in a plastic bottle, one would think that it will take significant force to make it leak. Bad customer service by the cashier, and why should you blame the customer for your faulty product?

This "MISTAKE" happen too often, hear me out:
I spend one week growing this grass in the app, so I get a bomullpads as gift, I went to the store, IN HOLMESTRAND (Norway), get some stuff, show them the app to get the gift, she authorized it, good, I went home happy, than I see she put 2un of it, and discount one, meaning I paid for it, of course I could go back there to get my 15kr back, but I wont drive cause of 15kr, who would?? This "mistake" happen very very often in Norway I notice after 7 years living in here, so do not get aroused by the beautiful young employers smilling to you, just check your receipt EVERY TIME U GET SOME PROMOTION, AND DO IT BEFORE you leave the store, this also happen a lot on EUROPRIS, be aware!
