My experience with North Devon Roofing came about a couple of years ago when I had a hole in my roof. I gave them a call, and they kindly came and checked it out the next day. Now, one thing I really appreciated was how honest they were. Even though they weren't getting paid for it, they fixed the hole for me as a temporary measure, just so there would be no more water coming through, with just some strong silicone. I had no quote given. I didn't even ask them for a quote at the time. They just did it out of the kindness of their heart, just so I would not have any more water damage whilst I thought about what I wanted to do long term.

I gave them a call the next day and said, "Look, what are my options?" He said, "When I looked at it, the slate will last for a couple more years, but then you should really think about maybe replacing it or something long-term, at least." I said, "What are my current options now?" He said, "Well, I can replace the slates that are there now, but they will stand out because, obviously, your slates you have there currently are asbestos slate and they are deteriorating."

I do know he was telling the truth because I do recall in previous years that the slates were in fact asbestos slate. I do know myself that they were deteriorating due to being on there for many decades and witnessing it myself. With no pressure at all from North Devon Roofing, I asked them for a quote, and they gave me a very good quote which didn't really take much to consider. I went ahead and had a new roof put on.

Once the scaffolding was put up, North Devon Roofing and their excellent team did a fantastic job of the roof and had it done within a weekend. Even after I had the roof done, at no request of mine, North Devon Roofing asked if they could come by and check how the roof was getting on, just as a standard check. They also came back a couple of days after to finish cleaning up and tidying up the loft space to make sure there was no rubble or any dirt left over.

All in all, a fantastic job, and I cannot recommend North Devon Roofing enough for the work they did.
Basically, in a nutshell, 10/10.
