Found Novomove on Portugalist, recommended to get you a Fiscal number and they offer other services too. Brilliant company. The whole process took approx 4 weeks and every step of the way you get useful links to follow which help enormously to guide you through the paperwork. Very helpful people, would recommend them. If you use them you will appreciate how good they are when you find out where they are located !!

The service of Philip and his crew exceeded all expectations. The service for getting a NIF was very fast, with automatic status notifiactions throughout the process. Even after we got the NIF, Philip is helping us with another process with out any additional costs (he told us that the process is simple, and he can send us a guide that will help us to complete it ourselves). I applied for a Portuguese NIF only. No bank account.
I used Novomove to get my Portuguese NIF, and one was issued in 7 days (delays getting requested documents to them on my end). I received my login code from the Portuguese tax and customs authority (AT) in the mail within two weeks after that, which I thought was pretty fast.
The person I worked with at Novomove (not sure I can mention her name here) was very helpful in answering the questions I had from the start of the process and throughout. She also helped me make sure I had everything set up properly in the AT portal. The best part, is that a fiscal representative wasn’t required (the primary reason I chose Novomove), so I saved some money, and now don’t need to hassle with canceling fiscal representation.
Based on my experience with Novomove, I recommend them if you need to get a NIF for Portugal.
