Rip-Off price scammers
Rip-off price scammers; will pursue ombudsman complaint and legal action on their outrageous price inflation scams & billing chaos over several months. Despite the exorbitant cost of energy they 'invent' additional new charges almost every month whilst forgetting to include EBRS. For example their latest scam comes in the form of a letter - which has normally sized font everywhere - except on table detailing yet-again increasing charges, when their text shrinks to size of these commas ,,, (seriously) so can they sneak in that their standing charge is increasing from £30/month to £239.92 (an 800% increase) plus capacity charges are increasing 400%, from 1/4/23 ...

Awful company. Not a single month went by out of 2 hellish years where they didn't screw something up. I wasted 2 entire years dealing with problems they created. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE.

Worst company ever
Worst company ever! They are scamming people... They once sent me a letter to say that I own them money but it was completely false. Then I contacted their lawyer and explained the situation. After that no news! But I always receive letter from people who are living in the house next to mine and it says my address but it's not my name at all, it's the previous people from the house next door. I returned the mail but they keep returning it and using tape around the letter... SO ANNOYING.
Miracle debt! Never been a customer
Just received a letter that npower has sold my account to a debt collector......I've NEVER been a customer!
Can npower, who are actively avoiding my tweets, explain how I've suddenly got a 507 quid debt for an address you've never supplied? Also, for a person who has never, in my 31 years on this earth, never been a customer?
Bunch of con artists! Glad I listened to my mum and always avoided you! You ain't getting a penny! I know every single energy company I've ever been with since my 1st home at 16 and I can even remember what order they're in and npower was never one of them. They didn't even use 1) my legal name, they used my birth/dead name (my name change happened 2011) or 2) spell my birth name right!
switched to npower
Recently, I switched to npower, and I'm extremely pleased with it.

Disgrace of a company
Disgrace of a company. Moved into a property years ago that had a key metre we were putting ridiculous amounts on the key every few days! My partner phoned them up they said there is a debt on the metre and that it was from another person and that we had to pay it! They were told we are not paying another person's debt and we will be switching companies so we did switch and had the metre changed! Still to this day they are chasing us for £1500 we don't owe. The last company who were dealing with the debt stopped chasing us as we showed them all the proof from British gas yet they got another company to chase us. Been years of hell fighting this and today your latest debt company confirmed to my partner they will be taking your case off the system as its barred! Why is it barred of yeah because we owe you nothing!!!

How does Npower stay in business?!
Moved into a rental last December which was part of a farm and thus had a Npower business account. Immediately switched suppliers because a) I'm residential and not business, and b) I had previous dealings with Npower which were MOST unsatisfactory. So after some months with Scottish Power I was contacted by Npower Business Solutions about my "business account." I pointed out that I have never had a business account with anyone as I had never been a business and said this was clearly a mix up with the property which had been rented out by the farm (with the no longer applicable business account). The rep replied that records would be updated, sorry for the inconvenience, blah-blah-blah. Then last week after moving house again I was contacted by Npower business solutions about my business account! What?! So I rang back immediately on the number provided, with the name given along with the reference number which had also been supplied. The operative (Craig) said he was in sales and would pass along the information to Semran who would get straight back to me. A week passed and Npower ring again about my business account (!) and leave a message on my mobile. Shortly I ring back, this time only to get an automated message stating, "Your call cannot be answered now by Npower Business Solutions because we are currently closed for staff training." And not a minute too soon, I would say!! Hope something sticks! How does a business this inefficient with such incompetent staff survive? I guess energy companies like Npower are now in the happy position of being able to overcharge customers in a market that is profit - not customer - centred.
Rip off
I have been with npower for years, one of the worst energy companies ever, i'm very glad i have left
We use NPower (for business/offices)
We use NPower (for business/offices). We have had over 1 year of invoices then credit note for that invoice then another invoice, we were told we needed a new smart meter so got that replaced then the issue started again, we get an invoice then 2 days letter a credit note and then another different invoice. I spoke to a former employee of NPower who told me they have had problems with their billing for 14 years!
This problem has caused huge amount of additional work for us and NPower still not resolved.
Absolute dire company
Absolute dire company, how they're allowed to even provide a public service is questionable.
They are useless to the point of beyond belief, customer service is a complete joke, they must have a management system run by cretins. They have so many complaints against them why are they still in business? Never ever go to this company for your energy needs you will be faced with dealing with intellectually challenged morons.
