I would give a no star rating if I…

I would give a no star rating if I could to the employee Alex (would not give me his last name) who works at the Westside Spartanburg location. He does not know the company policy for who he works for. I bought all 4 new tires back in April 2023. I also tell my employers to use this company for company cars. Today I noticed 2 tires defected showing slits in my personal car. I call to see about bringing my car in for them to look at the tires and give me guidance. Alex could #1 not find me in the system & #2 tells me that if it's a defect with the tire then, I am to contact Bridgestone myself. My next call was too corporate, and Holly was very professional and handled my call like a customer should be treated. Holly got us an eval for my tires and (by my choice) with another local sister company in Greer to get them looked at. We will continue to do business with NT&B but not at the Spartanburg location.

LEXUS STATE INSPECTION

I brought my vehicle in to NTB for a state inspection and was warmly greeted by Rick and his staff. I will definitely bring my other vehicles back for service and other needs in the future.

I had a flat tire emergency on my way to work, and Bryan, the service manager at the Automobile Blvd shop, put on the spare though they did not have a tire for my car immediately available. It made a bad day a bit better, and I was able to go home with the car safely.

I went to the Hammond

I went to the Hammond, La store a few days before Christmas to have my car aligned and of course there was other problems found. I rapidly went from $100-$400 bill at least that’s what I was told. I was also told that I was approved for a 90 day same as cash account but found 2 weeks later they are taking $50 per week from my bank acct and I would be paying $2200. My car still pulls to the left and when I called about this $2200 charge they act like they have no idea. Don’t do business with these people especially if you’re a widow over the age of 62. You will be lied to and taken advantage of.

NTB wrecked my car & now avoiding responsibility

A NTB employee in Aiken, South Caronlina wrecked my car by backing into another car. It has been almost a month and the company appears to be trying to avoid responsibility by phone and messages to their corporate office. We just want our car fixed. We don't care if the driver's insurance pays or the company pays for the repairs. Just imagine, if they don't have enough integrity when you have a police report, what are they doing with your car that you are not aware of.

Worst experience with any company I…

Worst experience with any company I have dealt with. I went in for the first oil change on a brand new vehicle. They didn’t put in the oil filter in correctly. I left with the car leaking oil. I had to tow it back at my expense. They took the old o-ring out of the trash and put it back on. All the warning lights are on and could not be reset. I left again to find out they never replaced the lost oil. The oil filter cap was over tightened and stripped This has resulted in a $930 repair on a vehicle with 5000 miles. Several attempts were made to contact the corporate office with no returned calls. This was the Auburn, AL NTB.

felt discriminatory

i noticed the same ad for managers all over the greater baltimore area. i guess there's a reason why they are in such an emergency to hire. i felt like it was a great interview until i mentioned I had an Autistic child and that i took care of my disabled Mother. then i never heard back from them even AFTER he stated i would hear from him in a couple of days. thanks for passing on me. i would have hated to waste my good talent with NTB

Took my car to the Aberdeen md location…

Took my car to the Aberdeen md location for a simple easy repair. Needed a tire plugged because a screw went into it. The screw head was visible and not in the sidewall of the tire. They told me that they would take care of it for a reasonable price so I agreed and left it with them. BIG MISTAKE! After waiting 3 hours, they informed me they couldn't repair it. I asked why because I knew better due to my 12 years working in a shop as a mechanic. They said they couldn't lay it flat to do the repair which is BS and tried to sell me a new tire for 200 dollars! I told them no and took my car across the street to another shop that plugged it in 15 minutes and cost me 25 dollars! National tire and battery is a joke and rip off! You should avoid this place at all costs.! Don't walk, RUN! They will never get any business from me and they don't deserve yours either!

Tire Slow Leak Problem and Outstanding Response

Bought tires about a year ago from NTB. Called about slow leak in one tire. Joe (Service Manager) at NTB Telegraph Woodbridge was very responsive and understood my concerns. He said he could take care of the problem right away. Joe and his employees were very professional and quickly took care of the problem by replacing the tire valve stem. Service was outstanding.

My experience wasn't good at first

My experience wasn't good at first. Took my car to get the valve stems replaced. They could not get the tire off ," low profiles " etc. But while they was attempting to remove the tire they broke the tpms sensor . I was told about not being able to remove tire . But wasn't told about the damaged sensor . Got home ,wife test drove the car. When I heard the sensor rolling around in the tire. So of course I attempted to get in contact with customer service. Left 2 messages on website explaining the situation. Haven't heard from customer service so I called the store back the next morning. Ask to speak with a manager . I spoke with Stephen Crawford he was great . He handled the situation very professional , great customer service . He handled my situation wonderfully . I recommend NTB just because of Stephen great guy. 5 out of 5

TitleAvoid This Auto Repair Nightmare!

Title: Avoid This Auto Repair Nightmare!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with NTB Tire and Auto Airpark in Gaithersburg, Md.and I cannot emphasize enough how terrible my experience was. I give them zero stars.
First and foremost, the customer service at this place is abysmal. There is none. From the moment I contacted them, I was met with indifference and condescension from the staff. They seemed annoyed by me and appeared to be more interested in not having to make things right, and not portraying the business in a negative light, than helping customers. But thats exactly wehat they did, concictently. It was clear that they had no interest inproviding a positive customer experience.
I brought my vehicle in for what I thought was a simple tire replacement, but it has turned into never-ending aggravation. The real nightmare began when I made an appointment to have a flat tire replaced, scheduled for July 30, 2023. I checked their website and it indicated that they were open on Sundays. I made an appointment on their website and received a written confirmation of that appointment. The day before I received a second confirmation confirming my Sunday appointment. On Sunday I took off from work, hired a towing company to get my car to the service location, starting at about 9am. When we arrived at the towing location, the business was closed, even though their website said they should open and I had 2 written confirmations. I I had the towing company take my car to another tire business where the tire was eventually replaced. Not only did I lose wages from work, but the towing cost me hundreds of dollars. My day finally ended at approx. 5pm.I brought my vehicle in for what I thought was a simple tire replacement, but it has turned into never-ending aggravation. But the worst part is the indifference of the company (i.e. General Manager), telling me that appointments made online are not real appointments and don’t really count. That they are not open on Sundays and had no obligation to be there.

To make matters worse, when I tried to reach out to NTB to discuss my concerns and request a refund of my towing, they were completely unresponsive. I called 3 times. They asked my name and then I was told no one would be available to speak to me. I had to go there in person 3 times and was told by the general manager that they were not going to do anything and I was basically out of luck. I was also told that I was contacted by the district manager and the case was closed. I was never contacted by anyone. It's clear that they have no interest in customer satisfaction or taking responsibility for their mistakes.
In summary, I strongly advise anyone considering using NTB Tire and Battery Airpark in Gaithersburg, Md. to run in the opposite direction. Their terrible customer service, dishonest and disreputable business practices, uncaring attitude, and lack of accountability make them a complete disaster of an auto repair business. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable and honest repair shop elsewhere.

The NTB store on Laskin Road

The NTB store on Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia was excellent / superb! Traveling on the interstate, I hit something and it was dragging under the car. I got off the interstate and pulled into the NTB shop at 5:35 PM on Saturday of the Labor Day weekend. The store was getting ready to close at 6 BUT James, Graham, Gene, and one more person whose name I can't remember, listened to my problem / concern and immediately pulled my car into the service bay. A quick check revealed a screw and support bracket had come off, leaving the cover panel hanging. They quickly removed the one remaining screw holding the cover plate and had me back on the road in less than 10 minutes. They said it was no problem to resolve, wished me good well, and I was off. These men were professional, responsive, and represented NTB in the highest possible way. Their good deed to me is what customers hope for in every business. I will come back to them for my next tires.

Beware...NBT was sold last Saturday and changed hands. The question is why go to a company that will not honor warranties and 5 year alignments that were previously purchased. It appears that customer data was lost or was not transferred properly by the new owners, and unless you have your paperwork, they will not honor it. Talked to the area Manager Steve, or area idiot, who had nothing to say or any resolution. Stay away from NTB!!! The NTB sucks and they do not care about existing customers.
