Fine unless you want to cancel your account, in which case they will say you have to phone to cancel as they can't accept emails, then repeatedly deny you called, and continue to invoice you.

Outage on 23rd August 2017 meant that …

Outage on 23rd August 2017 meant that calls weren't forwarded to my answering service and I lost dozens of enquiries. When I rang to complain I was told they were looking into it but that there would be no refund. I told them I was looking into moving to another company and they were indifferent. Same poor response on the email I sent to them.

Awful company & service

We used Numberstore for a few years initially with no real problems. We decided to port our number away to another provider who offered superior tracking for calls.

This port was successful meaning we had no numbers with them. I cancelled my account with them at this time.

They have continued to debt our account every month since, when i try to call them about it I am on hold for over an hour each time.

They also renewed a number which wasnt mine and billed me for it, yet this number doesnt appear in my user dashboard. Weh speaking with their customer services team they also cannot see the number in my dashboard. They also havent refunded me for this number.

I have cancelled the DD via internet banking only for it to be reactivated. I have now cancelled it again and put in a claim to get the money back.

Totally un-professional!

Your service can go down for days with Numberstore and their customer service is pathetic

We have an 0845 number with numberstore.com and from 30th June to 5th July it went down. It was our main sales line and so we kept asking numberstore when it would come back up. They said that they would get back to us but they didn't. Instead we had to keep chasing and chasing.

Days went by and numberstore said that it was a problem with one of their suppliers (Vodafone) but that they were powerless to get the number back up. I was also told that it was affecting a lot of their customers.

We managed to mitigate our loss but it still ended up costing us the best part of a thousand pounds. Initially they said that as it was a problem with one of their suppliers it wasn't their responsibility. I had to press the matter and then they came back and offered much less than our loss by way of credit. I was willing to compromise as long as they gave it in cash but they refused and instead we are going to have to pursue the matter legally.

They are based in Ireland and their contract seems to be based on California law and so it will be cumbersome to recover the money. It's worth doing though to help ensure they get their act together and don't provide the poor service that we have received.

In summary if you want a telephone number that matters to you, then you have to avoid numberstore.com. The numbers can go down for days at a time and they don't stand up to their responsibilities if it does.
