Product arrived but would not connect to my car, tried webchat and followed all of the steps given to resolve the problem. Asked for help! had one message back, replied to that within minutes and waited and waited and still waiting for a reply!!!!!!!!!Absolutely dreadful customer
service.
Been waiting 3 days now I even tried to call the company in Lithuania!!! I’ve given them all my contact details including my phone number.

Easy to order (from the website)

Easy to order (from the website). Prompt dispatch with tracking. The device itself is neat and quickly pairs to the (Android) app.

Diagnostics are simple and easy to perform with relavant information placed at your fingertips.

For reference, I bought the device to diagnose a 2011 VW Passat CC. Perfect for what I needed.

Nothing short of elaborate organised scam
I fell for the BS of new OBDeleven 2 and paid for Pro Subscription and 100 credits only to recover UTTER BOGUS recycled codes which they probably kept selling to people over and over again.
Seven message attempts later 3 emails the so called shameless support is DOES NOT EXIST
and here is the Mary go round starts me desperately asking to get what I paid for in repeated emails and chat requests only to keep receiving Bougus Auto Scripted message tweeting me some one would be in contact seven days later I have not even got a message let alone a solution
I am now going to open a formal case with PayPal demanding my money back because trying to get them to respond you have more chance of getting blood from a stone.
Shame on you and your disingenuous business practices
They don’t even deserve one star . . .
Save your money and sanity and stay away from this company it’s scam and its pathetic support and dodgy business practices
Trust me You would be glad you did

Best value for VAG

The device is a great value for the money and they add features all the time. I first bought this for VAG only, but now I can use it as and OBD2 device on my other cars as well. I'm surprised they still support that functionality on the first Gen device. Support has been pretty good the couple of times I've needed them.

An absolute disgrace

An absolute disgrace. The device looks promising, but after 20 day I still don't had the device. It turns out that CAN (their AI Customer service BOT) CAN'T! After asking for a refund the CAN'T bot proudly explains how to return my device for a refund, a divide I DO NOT have. Twice I have been informed that a member of the team would contact me - still waiting.

As a scanner it works but don't expect all the wonderful extras for free. Delivery took forever and customer service just palm you off to chase it yourself. they only get involved when you report them to paypal. I wish i had read the reviews before purchase, but you live and learn

Gen 3 dongle has been released but none…

Gen 3 dongle has been released but none of there helpfiles have been updated to reflect this. Further the help files are on the VAG App but they are migrating to the OBD11 App but the help files have again not been updated to include this app. Generally I am afraid OBD11 Communication on changes is poor and they seem to rely on user community to identify stuff

Terrible customer support and unwillingness to help

Terrible customer support, very slow responses, and they refused a refund or compensation despite Swedish law stating all online purchases are subject to a 14-day withdrawal period.

I completed my purchase the day before they released a new version of the product, along with much better prices and additional credits upon purchase, something I was not informed about when making my purchase. I asked to return my product in order to buy the new generation at their new discounted price, or at least let me take part in the bonus credits offer (200 credits) as compensation. Seemed like a fair solution for both parties to me, but the support took days to respond, gave me nothing but default answers and refused to assist me.

The product itself works ok. It could be easier to use, and I especially dislike how hard it is to find the correct objects in the iPhone app compared to the Android app where you can search instead of manually checking channels between 0-255.

The service seemed to be a lot better in the past when you could buy the product without any subscriptions or credits; now you need credits and expensive subscriptions in order to use the product properly - I would advise anyone to opt for VCDS or Carly over OBDEleven.

Regarding the new device launch timing, we communicated the upcoming changes quite extensively on all our socials, weeks in advance, building far more than just a murmur that something big is just around the corner for OBDeleven; whether you followed that hype train or not doesn't affect your placed order, nor does it entitle any post-delivery extras to be accredited due to the availability of limited time sales events offering different deals.
Moreover, OBDeleven does, indeed, accept 14-day returns and our policy aligns with many industry standards. Though, we do encourage our buyers to review it before making a purchase, as it is important to note that item bundles must be returned in full, I.E. both physical device and (unused) digital plan/credits are to be returned in combination to apply. Given that you've spoken on some of our advanced features, you've seemingly already started using your plan, making the bundle non-refundable thereafter; which would also be why our customer support team would refuse to accept the return.
Additionally, while our current annual plan and credit pricing model differs from the past, it also reflects the expanded compatibility and introduction of new functionalities that we've developed and implemented over a decade of growing OBDeleven to what it is today. These changes ensure we can continue to provide the high-quality features and services that our users have come to expect from us.

Fast delivery, but subscriptions codes already in use

Fast delivery, but awful customer experience. I received my OBD11 V3 promptly. I didn't use it immediately, but after a few days when I tried to activate my codes, the website reported they were already used. I contacted customer support on the 7th August 2025, and today is 11th August 2025 with no response. I spent nearly £100 on a device that is utterly useless to me without spending more money.

The company has no public phone number and their customer service chat says "Response within 2 days". Obviously, that's not true.

Stay away from this scammer OBD eleven…

I strongly advise others to stay away from OBDeleven. My experience with them has been incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.

They deleted my credits without explanation, and when I raised a concern, instead of resolving the issue, they became defensive and even threatened and yelled at me with a call at midnight from one of their “officers.” This is completely unprofessional and feels like intimidation. I reported to the Local police

I’ve lost money and received no real support. Their customer service is rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. OBDeleven's behaviour is scam-like and dishonest, and I don’t trust this company at all anymore.

Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a reliable diagnostic tool. This company does not respect its customers and cannot be trusted, and do not have phone support.
