Title: Systemic Negligence, Toxic Customer Service, and Appalling Incompetence

"Avoid Ocean Finance at all costs. Their financial systems are completely defective, and their customer service is a total shambles.

After texting me to confirm a clear £1,500 available credit balance, their card summarily declined at a retail counter in London despite me entering the correct PIN. This is the third time their broken systems have subjected me to intense public embarrassment and reputational damage at a retail counter. This is a repeat of my onboarding experience where they sent an official letter with the completely wrong PIN mapping.

When you call to sort out their mistakes, you are trapped in an oppressive 59-minute phone maze. I had to request escalation to a manager FIVE consecutive times because the front-line staff actively tried to gatekeep the complaints process and block me from speaking to supervisors. They aggressively try to shift the blame onto the consumer for their own technical glitches.

To top it all off, their publicly listed complaints email address bounces back as completely inactive. They are actively dodging accountability and are in flagrant breach of the FCA Consumer Duty regulations regarding fair customer outcomes.

A formal legal complaint has been sent via recorded delivery to their head office, and this will be escalated straight to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Utterly diabolical company. Do not trust them with your money
