Microsoft support

Microsoft support? You gotta be kidding me! Zero Support! This product has been nothing but huge hassles for me since day one.
When I first got product and rubbed off characters 2 could not be read. Days I searched for help after first going to Currys where I bought the product. I was told by young staff member I had to contact Microsoft. Avoid Currys, too BTW!
Eventually found a number and after 4 days of speaking to people in India and proving my left testicle was my own I was given a new product key which worked.
Now, I can't sign into my Microsoft account due to "suspicious activity" with email account I never use.
No ability to contact as I cannot sign in.
No email to email.
I need to use my laptop for work!!

Today I purchased Micro Soft Office

Today I purchased Micro Soft Office, I paid 159 with tax, I was told go home and plug in the Code . Which I did, I spent about 30 minutes with the installer, every thing went in and supposedly I had the Office down load ready for my computer. This until the installer told me the down load was complete, then pause. Because my system I Mac Apple was new 2022 , I had to pay an additional fee raising the cost to 349. . I flat refused and he hung up. So who is responsible for this Micro Soft or the Office supply store ? I purchased a product in good faith and it did not work. I had Office 365 for years and it worked !

Unethical billing practices

Was billed for an annual subscription renewal on my phone bill through a small unknown third party provided.

The charge was on October 1st, and my phone statement is October 27th by the time I figured out what it was for it was past the refund window.

Pretty unethical way to treat customers.

Wants me to pay to fill in one document

I get sent documents in the microsoft office format and then am constantly bombarded with windows saying i have to spend money to edit and write my basic details and other important information. This is documents concerning my work and pay. I dont have moeny to pay for office and i will never do so. Apparently i can use the online version for free but when i go to upload any document, it reaching full upload then just doesnt finish the upload and doesnt even give me an option to cancel. I tried to export the document as a PDF but it didnt work as im pretty sure you have to pay for that too. If you are going to be a professional service then allow a company to send me documents which i can fill in without needing to pay.

Microsoft have discontinued use of its customer service number. Simply directing me online and no option to speak with anyone, not even via webchat. Why buy something that if you incur a problem you cannot even discuss this with anyone.

I paid an annual subscription for Microsoft Office but a few months in I had to have the hard drive on my laptop replaced after which I had no way of logging in to my Office account.
I tried different ways of contacting Microsoft to no avail so the money I paid for the subscription was wasted.
I would never again pay for a Microsoft subscription.

People think Microsoft Office is a…

People think Microsoft Office is a helpful tool for unknown reasons. It is a tool of torture—University teachers demand you to use pictures in your work, as the Word can handle it. Of course. It only takes several hours to fit them right, as, without any warning, the pictures are just moving around. Thank you so much for this rubbish product.
I am looking forward to seeing your company go bankrupt.

No thank you.

What an absolute earth is going on with the Office 365 (online)??? I have a bunch of text boxes opening everytime I double click.. and when I click just once I am constantly taken to the wrong side of the page. I click on a text box at the top, I am taken to the bottom of the page and vice versa.. literally impossible to do anything. What a JOKEEEE!!!! As a creator.... no thank you. Seriously disappointing from microsoft.

Find alternate software!

Don't even attempt to make a list in this abysmal product. I waste hours a week just attempting to fix the margins their awful programmers have failed to optimise.

Worst customer support I have ever…

Worst customer support I have ever experienced. I really did not expect this from such a large company. 2 weeks, 6 calls and 5+ support requests as they decided to lock us out of our account, that only has one email address and that is the admin, we then had to prove we owned the business because they decided to lock the account.

I asked multiple times for it to esculated as the person on the phone was unable to even reset a password.

Moving 25 customers to g suite today.

Office365 issues

My computer out of the blue started to show me notifications, that "You can't get there from here" " we are sorry the resource you are trying to access is not available" . Following this message appearance all my company staff was lockked out out of outlook and one drive and basically none of us are able to log back in. I tried calling Microsoft Office 365 , but i was told that ticket has to be created for anyone to talk to me. We created a ticket and had numerous attempts to talk to Microsoft Office 365 staff since, but without much luck. Every time we get through , we are asked the same questions about the problem, and account and at the end of it we are told that we need another ticket, so now i have more than one ticket and 9 hours later, we still have no access to our files on onedrive or outlook and nobody is able to assist. we are told "wait and somebody will call you".....

Paid £120 for office student for my new laptop. After 4 days it randomly stopped working saying there are multiple accounts on my licence which is false as I've just got 1 laptop. Spent 2 hours on chat to microsoft with an agent that didnt know what they were doing. They couldnt resolve it and said they will try and escalate it and for me to contact them in 24 hours if i havent heard back from them. I'm a student so have urgent assignments that i had to do tonight so i explained that to them and asked if they could provide me with another licence or a temporary account i could use till they fixed my original issue. Agent kept ignoring my question. It was like i was talking to an automated robot the whole time. Awful awful customer service. And to think how much money they're worth, the fact they couldnt offer me a solution/ temporary office account is ridiculous

Great!

Lets start with the bad- The prices for apps are high. Wouldn't bother with using them and just access them through your web browser

Good- Office is amazing! Apps are quite bad prices but the free web apps are great, and also with a work or school free account they are quite good value seeing as you don't have to pay. Overall a good company

Terrible start to finish!

Terrible start to finish!

Bought Office 2019 because I don't want to pay $150/YEAR for effing Word Processing. You know, a free feature.

It took over an hour to activate, with the most painful re-reading of codes back and forth. When that was done, the download was ENORMOUS. For WORD PROCESSING. Once downloaded, the setup took over 45 minutes. When installed, you cannot rename the folders in your inbox - so it's all a jumbled mess that doesn't fit on the screen.
An hour and a half on the phone to Microsoft """""support""""" and they say "not fixing this" and hang up. Then I find a back door to force it via registry after another hour.

So for my $200, I got to wait hours to be told to eff off by Microsoft because they can't be bothered fixing any known bugs if it isn't for a drastically overpriced subscription service. Thanks for nothing you absolute thieves, I will never buy anything from you again that's for damn sure. Go to hell!
