Your results are in!
We've calculated the results for your recent OhmHour on Friday, Jul 14, from 7 - 8PM.
Unfortunately, you did not save enough energy during this event to earn energy Watts. But wait, there is a silver lining. Because your connected devices participated in this event, you still earned device Watts.
Was not home, only things on running internet router and refridgerator.

OhmConnect has changed my energy life, but it took me some time to figure out how to get the most out of it.
When I first started with OhmConnect, I worked hard to turn off appliances and lights during OhmHours. It took some effort, but I was proud to participate in electricity demand reduction when the electric grid needed it most.
Then I got a couple Ohmplugs. They're connected to my OhmConnect account so OhmConnect can turn the appliance or lamp on and off when electricity demand is high. They do it FOR me.
Then I figured out how to use Ohmplug functionality to put some devices on timers outside of OhmHours. I learned when electricity is most expensive and I used the OhmPlug to automatically turn off my beverage center every single day when electricity costs are highest. (And I stopped running laundry and dishwasher then too!)
Next, I got a smart thermostat. I set up timers on it, and it is also automatically control by OhmConnect during OhmHours. The smart thermostatr makes a huge impact during OhmHours and I don't even have to do anything. Plus, I can see (and fix!) on the app when my teenage daughter is cranking up the heat.
Then I got lots more smart plugs. Put one on the fridge. Got pretty lamps. Put them on timers. Now I've got a softly lit house at night, a fridge, a beverage center, and a thermostat that all participate in OhmHours without me having to lift a finger.
Even better, I've become a more informed electric customer through all of this, with a more controlled, lower electricity bill.

Scam at best. Capitalizing on real-world energy usage hysteria with zero real-world services. Read the reviews. It's like eBay their "service" is nothing more than 'false apology technicians' devised from AI in the vast majority of instances. A shame as there's an opportunity for improvement. Instead, we get ohmconnect.

Smart plugs that you sent me do not connect. Most of the smart things that I have will not connect when I read reviews regarding your product. I hear nothing but negative also. I don’t think I’m gonna waste anymore time trying to work through you.

The ohm connect is very resourceful they help save money for people on a low budget you get paid to save energy.

I have been an OhmConnect member for approximately two years I have plugs throughout my house, and average 90%+ energy reduction during events. Reaching this status gives the participant at 30% reduction in the cost of an item points are redeemed for.
I have not been invited to events since the last redemption of my points. I know events are occurring, as a neighbor just a few streets away is actively participating in events. Her average reduction is around 60-70%. So far, I have missed five events, and the points that go with them. The electricity for my town comes from approximately 100 miles away.
When I asked OhmConnect why I am not being invited to participate, I was told that because of the grid, my participation was not needed, and that even though the person I know is only a few blocks away, they might be on a different part of the grid. As the power for the entire town is transmitted from 100 miles away, the origin point of the affected grid is the same for the entire town.
I can only guess that if you are working seriously to reduce your energy during events and making a good amount of points from it which are redeemed at a discount, your participation is not as vital as someone who just dabbles in reducing their consumption, accumulating fewer points and redeeming them at full price
EDIT: Having read the response below, I note that it is contradictory.
"...I can confirm that any energy reductions, big or small, are vital to reducing stress on the grid and preventing the need to use dirty power plants!..."
BUT
"...This is because we don't always need every member in a region to participate to reach the reduction goals set by the energy grid providers we work with. ..."

I have attempted to use this program at 2 different addresses for several years and have never received. cent.

the program is very unfriendly to household that already uses little energy. when the baseline is very low and the consumption is a little over normal usage, the point calculation makesa significant deduction of points.

Bar is set way too high to warn any meaningful credit. Misleading marketing as well.

You won't allow me to use this in Apple HomeKit. I'm not willing to use a different app to run each smart plug in my house. I think many others would feel the same way. I'd rather spend $5 buying a better quality product and be able to use it in the broader ecosystem. Sorry
