I have applied for a number of different countries visas this year and I must say every centre I went to was rather unpleasant and hostile. Until I went to the OIS office in Manchester for my Ni... See more

No punctuality in Deadlines. They don't care
These people are thorough in their checks but the staff member that dealt with me confused certain documents. I hold a foreign passport with all rights in the UK. This copy was forwarded after my appointment. I paid £5 for a copy of my old passport that holds the ILR. (Visa page). Instead the security copied the front page and not the ILR visa page. l had to explain and prove myself over and over. That was on 24th May. 25th l had to send my ILR by email. 6th May I get a generated email to say l need to submit my immigration status in UK. Why soo long since 25th May? My flight is on Monday10th. I wrote an email and get no answers.
Do you people care at all??. I have only till 16th in Lagos. I believe the staff member that received my immigration status in an email. I think it did NOT get forwarded on time.
Honestly this is too much.
Please rectify your admin conduct in OIS London. No one needs to be made to look like a criminal with all documents intact.
Also, you people need to stop this nonsense of not picking calls or replying emails. Every customer is important. We aren't begging we are buying services and need prompt responses.

OIS Services in Atlanta the young man working there is Arrogant obnoxious and rude. His customer skills were on a very low level. I have never met someone who disgusted me so bad. however, the young lady working that was nice but she was walking around like a puppy behind him. They need to get more matured people to work in this office. I think we all need to come together and contact the channel 2 news and have them do a report on this particular OIS office. The behavior of this worker will make people run from Nigeria instead of wanting to visit. though I’m sure he will reap what he sows.

I visited the OIS services location in Maryland. My experience was uneventful. The staff was efficient and the entire interview experience took less than an hour.
Now the problem, due to a problem at the embassy Visas were not mailed out in a timely manner. My Visa was approved on November 8, but I didn't receive it until December 7. There was no explanation as to it's late arrival. Several calls to the OIS office went unanswered and emails not returned. If OIS is supposed to be an information center, why are they not available to answer questions? Will people who's Visas were delayed get their 90 days extended? Seems unfair. This is my first Nigerian Visa and I am disappointed with this process.
The fellow at the Houston (9894…
The fellow at the Houston (9894 Bissonnet Street Suite 745) is a thief. He charges a processing fee of $55.00 for visa application, and provides a receipt that indicates a $0 processing fee. Why not post on the wall in the office that you charge a $55.00 processing fee? In addition, rather than post a list of the documents needed for processing a visa where everyone could see it, he tells you by mouth while ensuring he omits several things, so he could sell them to you. He uses your phone to take your picture and asks you to email it to him for a charge of $10 - cash only. He sells just about everything for cash including a forged letter of invitation. This is unbecoming. OIS Services claim to make processing easier, but they are complicating the process, and robbing clients who have no other choice but to go through their office.
Feels like stealing money and time
Appointment I made not until Nov, do decided to walk in to be sure I could get a visa in time. Arrived at 8:40, no one else there and didn't get seen until 9:50. The one worker present was doing other work and talking on the phone (personal phone calls included). So on top of eating an hour of my life which was expected, they didn't seem to have anyone waiting around for their appointment. Makes me think these appointments are trash and they space them so far out in order to computer you to walk in and post the extra fee.
I brought everything on the checklist, she didn't take half of it. Told me that my hotel reservation is invalid even though I'm traveling with another person also getting a visa today. The reservation has his name on it and it says 2 people, but because my name wasn't on it, you see some websites only let you put one name down, it wasn't my reservation. She initially wouldn't take the invitation letter but took it after she decided not to take my reservation. She said my application would be delayed probably bc the invitation didn't specify where I was staying. Didn't take my photos, so that's $20 down the toilet. If there are so many ifs and buts, STATE THESE ON YOUR CHECKLIST.
Worst service provider ever!
Worst service provider ever. What is the point having a phone number, where no one ever picks and your BOT continues telling to refer to useless website (of course customer calls you because website does not provide answer and you do not respond emails with appropriate info).
I was supposed to get my passport back on 07th Sep. It is 11th now. No news, nothing. I have a flight tomorrow early morning, which I am sure I will miss. They charge over 500 pounds for the visa on British passport (unbelievably high cost... the costliest visa ever on my passports), and not only not deliver it on time, but do not even bother to tell you the status of it. Why is Nigerian government using this useless mediator, and getting their name tarnished? I have been to Nigeria 19 times in the past 5 years... had multiple Nigerian visas issued to me - never been impressed with OIS services, but this time it really takes a mickey. What a disgrace of an agency. I will also write to Nigerian High Commission - this is unacceptable!

Amazing and helpful staff both in London and Dubai office! Been visiting for many years and always a great experience…
Don’t waste your time, you won’t get a refund
Don’t waste your time with these Ois services and Innovate1. Trying to get a refund on duplicate applications for me and my son (visa and passport) but there’s no contact number to reach the team nor Innovate1services, e-mails taking so long to get response from including time constraints. They blame it on Covid even in 2022, a total disgrace. Might as well have given a charity of my choice the £443.19p, rather than a poor system which isn’t working. Just don’t bother, they’re a waste, just as the country’s (Nigeria) system. I tried the international numbers on the FAQ’s, however to no avail. Pay them at your own risk…
Awful experience
Awful experience. Rather dubious cash in hand transactions without a receipt inside OIS agency. Check your receipts well as you will find the various £20 fees that you pay probably relate to the same service! £20 cash for a photocopy / £20 service fee/ £20 transaction fee / processing fee etc. Reading up on the owner of OIS in various articles, it doesn't surprise me...
The security guards are a JOKE and a…
The security guards are a JOKE and a total DISGRACE. Can someone remind them that their job is to confirm if clients have appointments (appointments slips) and are therefore authorised to go into the centre. Security guards are not immigration officials or OIS staff that have the right to review documents. Security guards at the centre have resorted to reviewing applicants documents outside of the building and decide who should or should not go into the centre. THIS IS WRONG. They are not trained to do so and it is not right and part of their job description. If the security guards want to feel more important and involved, they can go back to school, get more training and apply for higher positions.
Poor customer service and automated responses to emails.
The office at Fleet street is ok hence the 1 star. They do their job if you have an appointment with them.
However, the administrative qualities for the UK based branch are very poor in terms of refund requests. They send automated responses and closed their phone lines under the excuse of covid.
I have been sending emails for a refund request made in January for over 1 month and the so called refund process is supposed to take 4-5 weeks.
I don't think the directors know what they are doing. They are only interested in receiving payments for visas and passports and issuing visas. They can't even liase with their Nigerian partners to issue passports.
They even refer to poor reviews as being malicious-instead of accepting their errors and correcting themselves and request proof of complaints. Even if they delete the emails on their end, they have forgotten that some clients have saved those messages.
When they display such an attitude, the only option left is to report them.
If you have the time and travel frequently, get your passport in the home country- don't rely on ois/Nigerian house.
